The Lord knows us so well, He knows our ways, our patterns, our habits, our routines, He knows everything about us. To some this sounds scary, controlling, weird, but to others it is liberating. When you know the character of God you do not fear the eyes of God watching your every move. People are concerned about 5G surveillance and don’t like thought that they are being watched, but we have been watched by a careful eye from before we were even formed in our mothers womb. Remember what Psalm 139 said, “O LORD, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down, And are intimately acquainted with all my ways.” The differnce between God and “big tech” is that God is watching over us as a Father for protection, communication and direction. Being watched, known is a good thing when it comes to the Lord.
Knowing we are intimately known, it is important to remember “self” wants to decide what you do, where you do it, when you do it and how you do it. “Self” loves to be in charge, but as believers when we “give our lives to the Lord” we gave ourselves away. Paul said it this way, “Your is not your own, you were bought with a price” (1 Cor. 6:19). When we try to decide what we will do, when we will do it and where we will do it, we create for ourselves unncessary anxiety, for we were never meant to control anything, not even our own destiny. God is sovereign, He is in control, He knows you, He made you for such a time as this and He knows what He is doing with you, but you must surrender again to Him.
Surrender brings peace and peace is a weapon against the enemy that seeks to stir up self to speak about things self is not authorized to comment on. Surender a fresh today your self, and watch peace come in like a river. And remember what the Psalmist said, “ I said to the boastful, ‘Do not boast,’ And to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up the horn; Do not lift up your horn on high, Do not speak with insolent pride.’ For not from the east, nor from the west, Nor from the desert comes exaltation; But God is the Judge; He puts down one and exalts another.” God’s got this fear not my friends rather surrender.
