We Are Still In War

As in the days of Noah is a phrase people use to describe the days we live in and there is truth to this. What exactly were the days of Noah? Genesis 6-8 describe the days of Noah, it is not just one thing that was happening in those days, it was many things. If we are living in the days of Noah as some have said, what part are they referencing? I don’t know and I don’t have access to them to ask them to crystallize their generalized statement.

One thing I do know is like in the days of Noah most are oblivious to the reality of the spiritual war we are in as a nation right now. The battle didn’t end on November 2; January 6; or January 20; it is still going on right now but many believers have left the battle field while others never joined in at all. This is not a war of one color vs. another politically or ethnically; this not a gender war; this is a spiritual war between righteousness and wickedness. Until we identify what the war is, we won’t know how to fight, effectively.

The enemy is not ours personally even though it affects us personally, this is the same ancient enemy Israel dealt with in scripture. The enemy is God’s enemy, always has been always will be and the battle is over what God/god is going to rule the nation. As believers we have been given authority to engage in this spiritual war, but just like in the days of Noah there was a spiritual war being fought and most were oblivious to it. I’m blowing the shofar as a call to war for those who can hear, God/Yahweh is going to have righteousness exalt the nation for the nations are the inheritance given to Yeshua (Psalm 2), but we must raise our voice in prayer, obey the word of God in practice and pull down these invisible strongholds that are seeking to establish wickedness in our nation. We are in a war.

Psalm 83:1-4 “O God, do not remain quiet; Do not be silent and, O God, do not be still. For behold, Your enemies make an uproar, And those who hate You have exalted themselves. They make shrewd plans against Your people, And conspire together against Your treasured ones. They have said, “Come, and let us wipe them out as a nation.”
