Prophetic words abounded at the beginning of 2020 the level of faith in the atmosphere was electric with expectation of this new era we had entered into, this new day that was here. This anticipation rolled over into February and the Superbowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. People recalled the words of Bob Jones about what would happen when the Chiefs won the Superbowl. The number 2 was so significant during this event as well with 2’s everywhere and then it happened the Kansas City Chiefs won the Superbowl, the thoughts of a major revival in our nation were seeming like a reality we could only dream of. The sounds of harvest, revival, outpouring, were resounding in prophetic circles like a whirlwind of promise.
Then like the scratching of a record in the middle of a song, the pandemic of 2020 hits, the economy is shut down, the fear is ramped up with every word proceeding from the mouth of the media. Next thing you know in the year of the mouth (5780), we have a mask on our face covering our mouth. The sense of disappointment, the despair and the dream which was so alive just one month earlier seemed to be waning with every day. Schools closed, graduations were cancelled, the elderly were not accessible in their nursing homes, businesses were not making any money. The picture was hard to process for people.
Leaders of churches did not know how to make sense of it, so they spoke into the situation the best they knew how to comfort their people, then churches went from meeting in person to meeting online, but everyone knows it just not the same. Trying to adapt to an ever-changing, unprecedented situation in now time is hard. Some people were decrying this is the prelude to the rapture, others we saying this is the anti-Christ and the mark of the beast. The fear was and, in some places, still is palatable.
Then an event took place in Minneapolis, MN which threw the country into another round of riots and racial upheaval. New chants arose, new slogans came forth, and whether people knew what they were supporting or not, got in the midst of the chaos and began to destroy cities, demand defunding of the police and were pointing fingers at one another. It was yet another layer on top of an already unprecedented year.
While some discount it as an election year, as to why all this is happening, others believe it is Matthew 24 coming to pass. But what is God saying in the midst of all this chaos? I guess the answer to that question depends on who you ask, which again adds to the chaos, the confusion, the concern. But now people are learning to navigate the situation we are in. Businesses are open but they still require masks, churches are still meeting, some online, some in parking lots, some on beaches and in plazas, some in homes, some not at all. The desire to return to normal, even if that means a new normal is all the majority of people want, but again, the question needs to be asked what is God saying about all of this?
The Bible is clear that God has set times and seasons, which revolve around His feasts. They are not the feasts of the Jews, they are the feasts of the Lord, so if we want to know what is happening on God’s calendar, we must look at the feasts. This happened at the Feast of Passover this year, when Israel (the nation) for the first time since Moses led them out of Egypt during that first Passover, they were in their houses, mandated to be there, during the Passover. Unprecedented event. Selah! Then like clockwork, the Feast of Pentecost came the end of May and George Floyd was killed, May 25, 2020, so we had fires being set in cities all over the country. Interesting timing. Selah! Now we are here at the end of July and wondering when will all this end? Once again, the question lingers, what is God saying about all of this?
Future proves past when it comes to the prophetic, so this word will either prove correct or false in the near future, but what the Lord showed me about this unprecedented year is a glimpse at His calendar and this is what I saw. On February 2, 2020 the Kansas City Chiefs won the Superbowl. According to the Bob Jones prophecy that event was to kick off an upcoming revival in which God will raise up apostolic chiefs, according to Shawn Bolz who Bob Jones told the prophecy to, on more than one occassion. February 2, 2020 the Kansas City Chiefs win the Superbowl in a come from behind victory. That means if Bob Jones is correct, that event in Miami, FL inaugurated the coming revival.
Our world, our year has not looked like a coming revival, or has it? The Lord showed me his calendar and what he said was, “The church has made it into the promised land, but now they are on a Jericho march.” I knew immediately that meant we were to march in silence for a season before we gave a shout (Joshua 6). Jericho was the first city they took in the new land and the way God had them defeat this city was by remaining silent. Fully ready for battle, the army marching day after day, but in silence. The Bible says, their silence brought such fear to the enemy because they knew these were the people God brought through the Red Sea when then came out of Egypt.
If we are on a Jericho march, if that is why we have to remain silent, if this is really what God is saying, when do we get to shout and see the walls come down? Well based on what I saw on God’s calendar, this march started on February 3, 2020 the day after the Bob Jones’ prophecy was inaugurated, so for 6 days, they marched around Jericho, that would mean for 6 months we march around in silence, then on the 7th day, or for us in the 7th month, we march around 7 times, so for 7 weeks. Lets look at this on a calendar so you can see what the Lord showed me.
February 3, 2020 – March 2, 2020 (First trip around Jericho)
March 2, 2020 – April 6, 2020 (Second trip around Jericho)
April 6, 2020 – May 4, 2020 (Third trip around Jericho)
May 4, 2020 – June 1, 2020 (Fourth trip around Jericho)
June 1, 2020 – July 6, 2020 (Fifth trip around Jericho)
July 6, 2020 – August 3, 2020 (Sixth trip around Jericho)
On the 7th day, they marched around Jericho 7 times, so the Lord said, now count 7 weeks. Here we go…
August 3 – 9, 2020 (Day 7 round 1)
August 10 -16, 2020 (Day 7 round 2)
August 17 – 23, 2020 (Day 7 round 3)
August 24 -30, 2020 (Day 7 round 4)
August 31 – September 6, 2020 (Day 7 round 5)
September 7 – September 13 (Day 7 round 6)
September 14 – September 20 (Day 7 round 7)
Based on what the Lord showed me on His calendar, we are going to shout and the walls are going to come down on the weekend of Rosh Hashanah 2020, the Hebrew year 5781. What I sensed from the Lord, is that just like Jericho the first of anything belongs to the Lord, so this first year, which God is symbolically using as His first city (Jericho) it belongs to the Lord. We are in the promised land, we are in a new era, we have never been this way before, it is all new, but our first order of business is for God to take this first as His portion.
I believe based on what the Lord has shown me on His calendar that this is the first year of the new era and just like at Jericho he had us march in silence around this year, because this year belongs to Him. Joshua 6:16-17, 20 says it this way, “At the seventh time, when the priests blew the trumpets, Joshua said to the people, SHOUT! For the Lord has given you the city. The city shall be under the ban, it and all that is in it belongs to the Lord. …So the people shouted, and priests blew the trumpets; and when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people shouted with a great shout and the wall fell down flat!” I hear shouts of victory in the camp of the righteous; I see dancing in the streets of the nations; but we must do it God’s way, in God’s time, not ours, for this is the promised land, we have never been this way before, so we must follow the Lord very closely in order to take the land.
I hope this encourages you and gives you what I believe is God’s time frame for all we have gone through and will go through until the day we get to shout, but remember, they are afraid of you, because they have heard God is with you! I look forward to the day we get to shout!
