Walking the dog in the rain this morning and then going out to my patio to pray while the light rain fell, I could sense a specific desire on God’s heart. As I spoke in tongues and gave Him praise He reminded me, “Justice rolls down like waters And righteousness like an ever-flowing stream” (Amos 5:24). The rain continues to fall as I call for righteousness and justice to fall like the rain on our nation. This is our salvation declaration. I decreed this over and over, I asked for His reign on earth as it is in heaven.

Then as I sensed the desire of His heart was met by what He had me declare and pray, He reminded me of this verse He showed me yesterday.

Jeremiah 10:13 “When He utters His voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, And He causes the clouds to ascend from the end of the earth;

He makes lightning for the rain, And brings out the wind from His storehouses.” I knew God was speaking justice and righteousness and the rain was bringing those very words into the earth.

Justice brings consequences for some and rewards for other. Here comes God’s perfect justice!
