20 years ago, we were preparing to enter a new millennium. It was Y2K, some people feared the worst, others partied like it was truly 1999, but we all made it into the new millennium. Little did we know, that the first 20 years of this new millennium were going to be so challenging. Very few, if any prophesied what this first 20 years of the years of the 2000’s was going to be like, but now, 20 years later, the Lord is saying, it is the end of a 20-year chapter titled The House of Laban. In Genesis 29 we pick up the story of Jacob, who is being sent to Haran, which is where Abram left from per the command of God to leave his father’s house and go to a land God would show him (Genesis 12). Jacob was being sent back to Haran by his father Isaac, to get a wife. Jacob leaves the promised land (Canaan) and goes back to Haran (means thirsty, lack, or little) and goes to find a wife. The Bible says, he see’s Rachel and loves her. With bridal dowry in hand, Jacob finds out Rachel is the daughter of his dad Isaac’s uncle. Basically, she is family and would be approved of by Isaac. Little did Jacob know, this trip to Haran was going to be a 20-year journey.

Just as Jacob did not know how long his time in Haran was going to be, many of us have been living in Haran, in the House of Laban for the past 20 years and we did not realize it, but God knew, God saw it all and God is bringing an end to the 20 year chapter called the House of Laban. In Genesis 31:38-42 we read what happened to Jacob over those 20 years in the House of Laban, “I have been with you for twenty years now. Your sheep and goats have not miscarried, nor have I eaten rams from your flocks. I did not bring you animals torn by wild beasts; I bore the loss myself. And you demanded payment from me for whatever was stolen by day or night. This was my situation: The heat consumed me in the daytime and the cold at night, and sleep fled from my eyes. It was like this for the twenty years I was in your household. I worked for you fourteen years for your two daughters and six years for your flocks, and you changed my wages ten times. If the God of my father, the God of Abraham and the Fear of Isaac, had not been with me, you would surely have sent me away empty-handed. But God has seen my hardship and the toil of my hands, and last night he rebuked you.” Jacob endured much injustice over those 20 years and God determined enough was enough, so Jacob left Laban and Haran.

Many people have been dealing with injustice in the area of relationships, finances, and a variety of other areas physically, spiritually and emotionally. Not every time was the injustice dealt with in righteousness, but as God looks over the past 20 years of the times you were passed over, that you absorbed insults and injustices, when you could have fought back, when you forgave without being asked to be forgiven, many things, God saw and He is declaring the end of a 20 year chapter for you in the House of Laban. Now this is not personal, this was a spiritual battle that was being waged against the body of Christ. Remember our battle is not against flesh and blood, so this is not the time to cast stones, rather it is a time to tie up loose ends, to make sure everyone you can remember is forgiven by you. We do not want to enter 2020, this new chapter with anything from the past 20 years. Tie it up, let them go and get ready for something brand new.

The Lord is bringing an end to a 20-year chapter of injustices, it is the Lord’s doing, not ours, which is why we need to walk humbly with our God out of 2019 and into 2020. I believe the reasons the prophets cannot give us specifics about what 2020 and beyond is going to look like is because God has not shown them. The end of this 20-year chapter is the beginning of a new one and until we enter into 2020, we will not know what surprises God has in store for us, at least not specifically, but what I do know, is that we are ending a 20-year chapter called the House of Laban. Jacob separated from Laban but not in anger, he lived apart from Esau but not due to strife, he tied up the loose ends, in Genesis 31-32, and so must we. For just like Jacob we are headed back to the promised land to live and for our children to be born, raised and planted in that land.

Finally, I believe the reason Jacob, who was in the promised land (Canaan), had to leave and go back to where Abram started, which was Haran and why it was such a battle for those 20 years is because there were inheritances that needed to be picked up and brought into the promised land. Our forefathers left behind inheritances, I believe God had us pick up over the past 20 years and this is what the battle has been about. I know this word is not for everyone, but for those it is for, I hope you are encouraged to know where you have been, why you were there and where God is opening up for you as we step into 2020. Truly our best days are in front of us and no eye has seen, no ear has heard, what God has in store for us who love Him (1 Corinthians 2:9-10). Tie up those loose ends, for this 20-year chapter is coming to an end.

What if the news is prophesying? What if God is speaking clearly through certain events? What if the messages being sent, are from God Himself, not man? Is it possible, the Lord has stepped down into our earth realm to say something, like in the days of Moses? Westerners struggle with the supernatural because they have been indoctrinated in the scientific. If it can’t be proven scientifically then many westerners don’t believe it is probable. But, the Bible was not written to or about westerners, it was written to and about Hebrews or easterners. The Bible is mystical in may ways, significantly supernatural and accessible to us, if we will allow ourselves to not be so rational, that we cannot be Biblical. Someone once said, many people are locked out of the Bible, because they read it with their head and not their spirit. We are spirit beings, when God breathed into Adam in Genesis 2, He made Him a living spirit. We, like the first Adam, are living spirits, we are invited to be supernaturally natural, so we can become naturally supernatural. This does not mean we are flaky people, it means we are faith people. We know God is invisible, but we also know He is alive, that He has a voice and that He speaks. We know that He is intimately involved in the affairs of men and women on earth, whether we recognize it or not. And when we know His nature, we can see His activity, and give Him the credit that is due Him for being God.

I was reading an article in the news dated December 10, 2019 at 1:11pm and the headline said, “WHITE ISLAND VOLCANO ERUPTS IN BAY OF PLENTY: SIX DEAD, EIGHT MISSING; 30 IN HOSPITAL” (nzhearld.co.nz) When I saw this headline, I immediately knew God was speaking something significant, but I needed to put all the pieces together to get the message He was speaking. As I put the puzzle pieces together this is what I learned, White Island or Whakaari which means to make visible; expose to view, has a volcano located on it, that is not habitable to humans and technically, people were not supposed to be on the island, because the volcano was volatile and could erupt at any moment. But, true to human nature, we do not like to be told no, so a cruise ship company would give tours to the island, but they had to navigate rough seas to get their cruise ship named Ovation, to the island for those who wanted to see the island and tour the volcano.

The island is located in the Bay of Plenty. We have White Island and white represents righteousness in scripture (Isaiah 1:18), located in the Bay of Plenty (speaks of abundance) has a mountain on it, which is a volcano. Six people died, the number six represents the number of man/flesh (Revelation 13:17-18) and this all happens in New Zealand. My friend shared these thoughts, Nehemiah 2:14 says, “Then I moved on toward the fountain gate and the king’s pool, but there was not enough room for my beast (flesh) to get through.” Flesh cannot get through to the presence of God, it will die in the process. Then she added, there is new zeal here, quoting Isaiah 59:17, “And He put on righteousness like a breastplate and a helmet of salvation on His head, and He put on garments of vengeance for clothing and wrapped Himself with zeal as a mantle.” Now that all the puzzle pieces are assembled, here is what I believe God is saying prophetically to His church.

I believe White Island located in the Bay of Plenty represents God Himself, He is making visible His righteousness instantaneously and flesh is not going to be able to live in His presence. But as we watch Him erupt, we are going to give Him a standing ovation, for He is God alone. The days of man made glory are done, the true presence of God is upon us and no flesh will be able to glory in His presence (1 Corinthians 1:29). The fear of the Lord is going to be restored to the Church and the world as the glory of God instantaneously erupts. Nothing is going to be the same from this point on. For those who have ears to hear and eyes to see, it is truly a new era we have entered into.

I was listening to the news and the reporter made mention of returning to the gold standard, immediately when he said it, the Spirit of God spoke to me and said “Jubilee”. Now I am not a financial specialist, but I am a researcher and when the Spirit of God says something to me, I will research to discover what the Lord is meaning by what He is saying. I began by looking up when we as a nation got off the gold standard, for I had heard of the gold standard, but did not know much about it and I came to find out, it was in 1971 that America got off of the gold standard. Now my interest is peaked, for 1971 to 2020 is 49 years and a Hebrew Jubilee is 7 times 7 years, so 49 years. That means that 2020 will be the Jubilee year for the gold standard.

Some may be saying, I thought Jubilee means 50, it does, but the Hebrews would count 7 times 7 years until the jubilee, so 49 years, this was the first of two years of the jubilee, for the jubilee was to be two Sabbath years when the land got to rest, property was restored, menservants and maidservants were free to leave and when debts were canceled. Therefore, technically, the jubilee is a 2 year experience, with years 49 and 50. Jonathan Cahn in his book the Mystery of the Shemitah explains this in great detail and it is very insightful, if you want to learn more about the jubilee years.

Now with that said, if America got off the gold standard in 1971 and 2020 is the beginning of the jubilee for that event, then is it possible we will see a Golden Jubilee in 2020 or 2021? I don’t know, I just know God said to me as I was listening to this man talk about the gold standard, the Lord said, “Jubilee”. To add to this thought, as I was studying jubilee, I learned that there are various jubilee’s at anniversaries and for a 50th anniversary they call it the golden jubilee. For me, this sealed the deal, 2020-2021 is going to be a golden jubilee for us as a nation, we are about to have a golden jubilee.

What do I mean by a golden jubilee? Gold in the bible obviously represents wealth, but gold is also spoken of as purity, for to make gold you have to remove the impurities by fire. Gold is representative in scripture of glory, like the glory of God, the presence of God, the power of God. I believe that the golden jubilee we are about to enter into is a jubilee of the power, presence, fire, and glory of God on a level we have not seen before in our generation. I see a golden jubilee coming to bring about a change in the earth realm that will leave us marking these two years, 2020-2021, as so distinct that life before these days will be a distant memory.

Many prophets have said, we have entered a new era, that God is about to unveil the new wine skin, that we have never gone this way before, that old ways will not work in this new era. I believe they are absolutely right, but I also believe we cannot even begin to comprehend how massive this golden jubilee will be and how far reaching it will go. I don’t think we even have vernacular for it, yet, for we have not experienced it, yet. But, what I do believe, is that God is going to show up and show off in a way that all the earth will see the glory of God on earth as it is in heaven. This is not the second coming of Christ, this is going to be a golden jubilee, a reset like none we have ever known. I see a golden jubilee.
