Religion allows the works of the flesh in church and does not challenge them rather tolerates them. This is why religion and politics are of the same spirit because they accept the works of the flesh as normal. However, the kingdom of God, which is the government of God, does not allow the works of the flesh. If we are to enter/inherit the kingdom of God we must put off the works of the flesh and put on faith, obedience and the fruit of the spirit. Without being dressed right you won’t enter the kingdom of God here on earth or in heaven.
Paul said the works of the flesh are obvious, adultry, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outburst of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like (Galatians 5:19-21). If you are dressed in any of these things you will not enter nor inherit the kingdom of God, the government of God. You may go to a church, you may be involved in religious activities, but you will not enter the kingdom of God, until you put off those garments and get dressed in the correct clothing. No exceptions.
Bible Ask says, “In the ancient oriental Marriage feasts, the special wedding garments were provided by the king himself. A feast filled with properly dressed guests would be an honor to the king and to the Marriage. So, a person who was not dressed properly would bring dishonor upon the host and ruin the happy occasion. The wedding garment represents the righteousness of Christ. So, rejecting the garment represents the rejection of character that qualify men to become children of God.”
Jesus spoke of this in a parable as stated in Matthew 22:11-14 “When the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ For many are called, but few are chosen.” You must be dressed right to enter the kingdom of God.
We are going to see a manifestation of flesh of the likes we have not seen possibly ever in our generation as the kingdom of God invades earth with a decree and manifestation of Babylon has fallen. Religion and politics is going to exemplify the works of the flesh, but those who are of the kingdom of God are going to shine like stars. The demarcation will be obvious and who is religious/political will be obvious from those who are kingdom. But when the dust settles, the kingdom will still be advancing and many will come out of her (Babylon) and want to know how to come in to the kingdom of God! People are about to put on new garments!
