Effusive Eruption

On Tuesday night I was with a group of friends and as we were praying for one of the guys in our group, I saw a picture of a volcano with lava flowing down. It was red and gold, first and glory, coming down the mountain and it was creating a path others could walk in. I told him about the vision and he responded in kind, but I have not been able to get this vision out of my head since that night. I believe it was for him, but I believe it is also for the body of Christ. I have been leaning into learning about lava flow and volcanos this week and what I sense is we are about to see God release fire and golden glory out of the mountain of the Lord, but it is not going to come the way it has in the past. Let me explain.

Wikipedia says, lava flow is an outpouring of lava during an effusive eruption. Lava can flow great distances before cooling causes it to solidify. Lava exposed to air quickly develops a solid crust that insulates the remaining liquid lava, helping to keep it hot and inviscid enough to continue flowing. An effusive eruption is a type of volcanic eruption in which lava steadily flows out of a volcano onto the ground. Effusive eruptions form lava flows and lava domes, each of which vary in shape, length and width. Eruption will be effusive if the magma has a low ascent velocity.

Who knew there were different kinds of eruptions? I didn’t, but what we have seen in the church is huge eruptions of power that launch names we know into the air for all to see. These eruptions are what we have seen in the past. One man who is known for healing, prophecy, or prosperity, while the rest of the church watches in awe. This is not what I see happening again. I believe we are about to experience effusive eruptions, where the fire and golden glory of God flows down the mountain of God like lava. I believe this lava flow of the fire of God to purify and the golden glory of God to empower the people of God is coming to reach the masses. We need effusive eruptions that release flowing lava down the mountain of God (Isaiah 2) to the people of God, for Jesus said He came to baptize in the Holy Spirit and fire. We need a lava flow outpouring!

Voices That Build

When I first got saved over 30 years ago, I used to have open visions, word pictures that were so clear and when I would share them with whoever I was praying for, that vision would make sense to them and they were greatly encouraged. As we walk with Jesus He speaks to us in so many different ways. His languages are diverse and varied, but His voice is the same. He always builds up the hearer. I tell people even if God is correcting you, He is correcting you up not pushing you down. The voice of God is a builder in our lives and the way He speaks changes.

The changing ways God speaks to us can be challenging if you like routine. Now the Lord does not change the way he speaks “daily” so you are always caught off guard, but rather seasonally. We can have a long seasons of seeing certain numbers, or names, or verses that pop off the page at us. Maybe you have a season fo dreaming, visions or even seeing in the spirit while in worship. But then it stops and often we can feel like we did something wrong, when in actuality, the Holy Spirit is just speaking a different way, but He has not stopped speaking. So, we open our eyes and ears to other ways He may be speaking to us. It keeps the relationship fresh, fun and spontaneous.

The other day I was with a group of people and we were worshipping and one person began laying hands on someone and was just praying, I looked over at her to see if she was hearing anything, she said no, so I went over to pray for the same person and I saw a vision. Then I went to another person and saw another vision and then to a third and saw another vision. Each one was unique to that individual, and finally for one person I got one word. Tears flowed as I shared what I saw, not sadness, but the knowing God was speaking to them. I love the voice of God and sharing it with the people of God for it builds them up and we all need prophetic builders in our life.

Added Bonus

When you get hired at a new company, one of the first things you are told about are the benefits that come with the new position you have accepted. Benefits are not your salary, they are in addition to your salary. The principles and practices have been learned from the word of God and applied to governments, companies, families and even nations. We see a twisted version of this more readily than the righteous application of them, but if you strip it away, you will find everything stems back to the word of God, for He is the Creator and everything else is a counterfeit or copy of His creative word or works. This is one of the many reasons He is God and there is no one like Him.

In the realm of the kingdom a salary, which comes from the word salt actually is like our salvation. Our salvation comes from our confession of faith in Jesus the Christ as the only way to the Father (John 14:6), but our salvation is the base of our faith walk, it is not the completion of it. There are many benefits to being saved, walking in salvation and pursuing all that this kingdom offers and expects from us. I ran across one of the benefits of being a kingdom citizen just this morning.

Proverbs 28:5 says, “Evil men do not understand justice, But those who seek the LORD understand all things.” One of the benefits of seeking the Lord, seeking first the kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33) is we understand all things. This is not an all knowing you need no one to teach type of thing, this is if you are a seeker of the Lord, when justice rolls down like waters (Amos 5:24) you understand, while many others will not. When a shaking happens financially, you understand Babylon is falling and the financial kingdom is rising, while others will feel like it is the end of the world. Seeking the Lord gives you understanding into world events so you do not panic preach. Seek the King and His kingdom, the benefits are bountiful.

Adjustment of Order

I am thinking we got somethings out of order. We have been preaching to people their identity and to know who they are, but we cannot know who we are and be confident in that knowledge unless we know who He is. The pursuit of knowing who I am is secondary to knowing who He is. Knowing who God is should be our primary pursuit. “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and ALL these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33). I am thinking because we are out of order, this is why we are not seeing more strength in the body of Christ, more confidence in the people of God and more faith in us corporately.

Psalm 27 activated this thought for me this morning because it says, “The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the defense of my life; Whom shall I dread?” When we know who the Lord is we do not fear and we do not dread, because the Lord is light, salvation and a defense. Our lack of knowing who God is manifests in our lack of confidence in what God can do. We cannot have confidence in someone we do not know. Jesus knew who His Father was, so He never feared, dreaded or worried about anything, His knowledge was in His Father first.

Knowing God is not the end of the narrative, there is a need to know who we are as well, it just needs to be put in correct order. Psalm 27 goes on to say, “When evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh, My adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell. Though a host encamp against me, My heart will not fear; Though war arise against me, In spite of this I shall be confident.” The psalmist did not have this kind of confidence because he knew who He was, it was because he knew who His God was and that knowledge showed him who he was. I think if we adjust the order, we will find ourselves more confident, stronger, and able to resist the enemy more easily, not because we know who we are, but because we know who our God is. He is a mighty warrior, so I can be confident in the battle.

Titan Implosion

Two to three weeks ago the Lord spoke the word Titan to me. I did what I do to research what the word meant and what the Lord was saying abou it, but nothing stuck out to me. I shared the word with a friend of mine, but otherwise I was not sure what this word was saying or pointing to. Then this morning I went to do my prayer time in my typical way and the Lord say, not today, I tried to pray but it was falling flat, I knew I was to watch the YouTube video by Troy Brewer I saw the night before called Titan. I leaned into the Lord’s leading and watched the video.

Troy spoke about the sinking of the Titanic and the correlation it has to the submarine that imploded called the Titan. One of the points Troy made was the Titanic was led by Captain Millionaire, but the Titan was led by Captain Billionaire. Many other details were shared in the video, but what the Lord spoke to me immediately after I turned off the video is what I want to share with you.

In August 2022, the Lord sent me to Jekyll Island, GA to abort what was conceived there. What was conceived there was the Federal Reserve Bank. While there the Lord had me declare Babylon, Babylon is fallen (Revelation 18). I knew we were to abort the financial oppressive system that was conceived in that location. So, to learn today the Titanic hit the iceberg on April 14, 1912 and sank on April 15, 1912 and to learn April 15, 1913 is when tax day was instituted, I knew there was a correlation and this is what God was saying about Titan.

My friends, the Lord whispered to me the word Titan, it has been three weeks and with Troy Brewers insight into the Titan submarine implosion the Lord is saying, the Babylonian financial system has sunk and is imploding, We are about to be set free from this financial oppressor in a way we cannot even imagine. Titan is good news for some and bad news for others.

Walking With God

Walking with God through this life is more enjoyable than anything else we could ever do. It reminds me of the hymn we used to sing in our Lutheran Church in Redmond, WA that says, “Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus and to take Him at His word; just to rest upon His promise, and to know, “Thus saith the Lord.”” I can hear the organ playing in the background even as these lyrics run through my soul. These words are true, very true for those who truly trust in Jesus. It is no longer a song we sing, but a life we live, and in doing so we become the song and the song becomes us.

Yesterday, I went to Walmart to buy some coolant for my radiator, because my car overheated on Wednesday night and then again on Friday afternoon, after some diagnostic work, I realized my thermostat was bad. My friend Jenn and I put in a new thermostat on Friday night but I needed coolant for the radiator, so to Walmart I went. While at Walmart in the same automotive section I had been to over and over again for a year now, here in Franklin, TN, I never saw they had a tire and oil change center. It was as though it was hidden from me until yesterday. I had been looking at two new tires for my truck, and was going to drive 45 minutes to the only Walmart service center I knew of in Columbia, TN, so, to have this one appear before my eyes yesterday, in the store I shop in consistently, was a “miracle” for me. Then to be able to get the tires done right then and there with only a 90 minute wait was another “miracle”.

I don’t tell you all that so you know I fix my own car, but to say, when we walk with God, when we trust God, He opens up opportunities right in front of us, along our path He knows we are thinking about. It may seem small to you, but it was a God wink for me knowing the Lord is involved in all the details of life. I was looking at getting into a loan on another car, but God had a much cheaper fix for me, $10 thermostat and $300 tires and we are one alignment away from rolling down the road again in our faithful red truck. Walking with Jesus does not mean driving a new car that puts you in debt, it means creative ways to keep you moving until the money comes in to buy that car with cash. Contentment and gratitude are the keys to joy. I am grateful for the honor of walking with God.

Voice Activated

Voice Activate Gates, Doors and Heads, this is a voice activated kingdom. You words are powerful, that is why we are held accountable. I was praying Psalm 24 this afternoon and it says three access points, heads, gates and ancient doors. The voice activated command in Psalm 24 is for those entry ways to lift up. Lift up heads, lift up gates, lift up ancient doors. Lift up is not debatable, it is a command that must be obeyed, because the king of Glory is coming in. The gates of Jerusalem needed to be lifted up so Jesus could come riding in on a donkey; the doors of the temple needed to be lifted up so that Jesus could look around; and the ancient doors of Hades needed to lift up so the crucified Christ could come through those ancient doors and take back the keys, the first Adam lost in the fall of Genesis 3.

Jesus didn’t kick down any of these heads, gates or ancient doors. He used His voice to enter in them and access what was behind the gate, the ancient door. Once He had access everything changed. Matthew 16:18-19 says we have been given keys to bind and to loose. These are voice activated keys that bind earthly things like humanism, poverty, sexual identity and these voice activated keys loose Truth, Prosperity and Original Design. All voice activated. What we permit with our voice has access, what we bind with our voice is rendered powerless. Becareful what you say, for your echo either binds or looses on earth what is in heavenly realms. Not all heavenly realms are releasing blessings, some are releasing other things.

Revelation 3 says, Behold I, Jesus, stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears my voice (voice activated) opens the door for me and lets me in, I will come and eat with him and He with me. My friends, this is a voice activated kingdom. Speak to the mountain and say be moved, speak to the door and say open, speak to the tree and say be uprooted, speak to that spirit and bind it. We have been given authority to open, close, bind and loose. It is all voice activated. Speak so the king of glory can come in!!!!

Never Diminishing

When I was a camp counselor in Park River, ND under the leadership of Rod Crystal Lundeen Quanbeck, we would have to make announcements to the campers and we had a way we said it, but it was always a call to hear announcements, announcements, announcements. I can hear that little tune in my head even now as I write this. It is amazing how some memories will be with us forever and pop up in the most unseemingly unusual times. I loved working at that camp, it was a summer I will never forget. I wonder if I am remembering this today, because my son leaves for his first summer camp this afternoon, oh the memories he will make just like I did as a counselor in that ever so remote city in North Dakota.

I said all that to say, the Bible releases announcements of good news every time we read it. Whether from a passage we have read over and over again or from some place we have not frequented as much. Today I was praying Psalm 23 and the Lord had me dig into the word want. So often we think we know what a word means, but there is depth in words, there are pathways in words, there are discoveries, treasures and truths in words that unlock us if we lean into them. Psalm 23:1 says, “The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want.” We know this verse, but do we know this verse. I didn’t until right now.

To not want in the Hebrew means, to not lack, to not decrease, to not diminish, to not be deprived, to not fail, to not make lower, to not have need. Oh my goodness, when the Lord is your Shepherd, the good Shepherd of John 10, when we make Him our Shepherd, we will not lack, fail, diminish, decrease. This is powerful, when the Lord is our Shepherd there is no fear of failing, falling back, diminishing. When the Lord is our Shepherd we continually increase, we win, we are ever ascending, this is such good news. We set goals and fail, because we want to be our own shepherd, so we go to conferences to learn how to be a better me, but the Bible says, all you need is a Shepherd. He will lead you and as you follow His voice you will not want!!! Being a sheep has incredible benefits if we are willing to let Jesus be our Shepherd. We get to be sheep, bah, bah, bah, bah and we shall not want.

What Time Is It?

To us who are temporal 70-80-90-100 years feels like a long time and the older we get it feels like a short time. Have you ever realized people talk about, wrestle with and do no understand time more than any other thing? Time is an earthy construct that if we do not have an understanding of it, we will create a theology around it that suits our temporal time on earth, rather than God’s big picture understanding of eternity. Our time on earth is only one piece in a very large puzzle. Our piece of the puzzle is very valuable to us, because it is our piece. Our generation is not the puzzle, we are not the capstone, we are not the apex of time, we are only one piece. We are an important piece, but we are only one piece. We must get a grasp on time if we are going to be effective for the eternal plan of God.

Doctrines, theologies, philosphies are all spoken in time but they go throughout the ages. The more off we are in our theology, because we do not understand time, the more we restrict those coming after us. We serve a God who loves legacy. He spoke about Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, legacy has always been God’s eternal plan. He spoke to prophets like Jeremiah, Isaiah and Zechariah about a Messiah they would never see or hear with their natural eyes and ears. They spoke, but it did not manifest for many many years. Our words outlast us in ways we do not understand.

We were born into the construct of other people’s words. We must dismantle theologies that were spoken out of fear, were created with only their time in mind and were established on faulty foundations. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever, He is a now God, now is the time we do not understand because of fear and ego. Is it any wonder Jesus said, we must deny ourselves in order to follow Him. We serve a now time God. Yes He was in the past, He is in the future, but that is because He is a now time God and now, today is the day of salvation. Contentment comes from living in the now, now is a construct of time, we must learn if we are going to fulfill the purposes of God in our generation. Now, now, now is where we live. We need to be mantled with NOW.

Stones That Sparkle In The Land

Language has a beauty to it that makes the heart smile. Words have the power to lift us up, build us up, encourage us and send us out to do great exploits. When Jesus had a woman caught in adultery thrown at His feet by the religious leaders of His day, He said, “Whoever is without sin, cast the first stone.” The story goes on to say, starting with the oldest to the youngest they all dropped their stones and walked away from that woman. Jesus had a way of building up people who religious leaders found as an easy target to tear down.

While reading Zechariah 9 this morning, the wording caught my heart by surprise and caused me to pause and ponder the beauty of the language chosen to describe a people who lived in a desert land called Israel. “They are as the stones of a crown, Sparkling in His land.” The they in this passage is a refrence to the people called israel, the land is the actual land called Israel. What most don’t know is Israel is predominantly desert land, so for the Lord to call them stones sparkling in His land is a powerful image. Because they are stones of a crown, that word stones can be translated as jewels. Rubies, diamonds, emeralds, jaspers, sapphires, and any other precious stone you can think of.

What a connection this is, Jesus said He who is without sin cast the first stone, and the Zechariah prophesies, these are stones of a crown sparkling in His land. My friends, take another look at the stones you want to throw at another person in the body of Christ and realize just like you, that person is a precious jewel in the crown of God. Can you see them as a diamond, emerald, sapphire or ruby? If you can you will not want to stone them to death for their sin, for missing the mark, you will want to see them sparkle in the land of the living. Your words either cast them down or lift them up. I see stones of a crown, sparkling in the land we call earth. Can you see them?
