2022 – The Year of the Mountain of the Lord

2022 – The year of The Mountain of the Lord

The days in which we live are filled with a mystery awakening. It is a great awakening of the likes the earth has not known in our generation. This mystery awakening is for the manifesting of the mountain of the Lord. 2022 will be a year where we see and hear the mountain of the Lord for the mountain of the Lord is the government and glory of God. 2022 is going to be a holographic year, for there will be dual meanings for many things being seen and heard. The word mountain has dual means as do the words government and glory have dual meanings. Like with a hologram, when you look one way you will see it one way, then you look another way and you will see it another way. Both will be manifesting in this year.

Two’s will be significant this year. Two is the number of witness, testimony, agreement, partnership, and in the Hebrew the number two is connected with the word Beht and its pictographic meaning is a house, tent, sons/daughters, to build, and division. As a preposition, it means “in” or “with.” The strong’s Number 2022 means, “mountain”. Mountain in scripture means government, henceforth the year of the government and glory of God. I do not think it is coincidental that the issues in the nations are stemming from government overreach. This year will begin the manifest change of governments in the earth, that will bring glory to God.

There are three prophetic chapter two’s we must listen to this year. One is

Daniel 2 because we are going to see “A stone cut without hands, and it will strike the statue on its feet of iron and clay and crush them. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold will be crushed all at the same time and become like chaff from the summer threshing floors; and the wind will carry the away so that not a trace of the will be found. But the stone that stuck the statue will become a great mountain and will fill the whole earth.” 2022 is the year of the mountain of the Lord.

Isaiah 2 is the second prophetic chapter 2 we need to watch for, because “Now it will come about in the last days that the mountain of the house of the Lord will be established as the chief of all the mountains, and will be raised above the hills; and all the nations will stream to it. For the law will go forth from Zion and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. He will judge between nations, and will render decisions for many peoples and they will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, and never again will they learn war.”

The third prophetic chapter 2 we need to complete our year will be Habakkuk 2 which says, “Is it not indeed from the LORD of hosts That peoples toil for fire, And nations grow weary for nothing? For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, As the waters cover the sea.”

2022 is the year of the Mountain of the Lord, it will be a year where we see the government and glory of God begin to manifest in our midst. The mountain/government of God is the chief of all the mountains. Does not Isaiah 22:22-23 say, “Then I will set the key of the house of David on his shoulder, When he opens no one will shut, When he shuts no one will open. I will drive him like a peg in a firm place, And he will become a throne of glory to his father’s house.” The year of the Mountain of the Lord is upon us and 2’s are significant this year, for “For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” It is going to be a powerful year of the government and glory of God!

What We Really Need

What do we need another revival for? Think about it, this nation has had multiple revivals starting with the First Great Awakening in the 1730’s and our last true revival was with Bethel Church in the 2010’s. That is 280 years worth of revivals. In the past 110 years we have had multiple revivals from Azusa Street to Brownsville and Toronto. What do we need another revival for? Revive means to live again. Revival was for the church not the world. Revival was to wake the people of God up, who said a prayer at one of those Billy Graham crusades, Todd White events, or Sean Feucht worship nights. It was to put the paddles on those who had Christ in them but they some how fell asleep. The challenge is, revival became like an alarm clock, we woke up for a minute then hit snooze and went right back to sleep. So, tell me again, what do we need another revival for?

Revival became another church movement, just like the Charismatic Movement, the Prosperity Movement, the Holiness Movement, the Healing Movement and even the Prophetic Movement. All of these movements became building blocks for the body of Christ to be built up into our most holy faith, not to have more services. If revival did not revive you so you live and keep on living, then as Jesus said in the parable of Luke 16, who asked Abraham to go tell his five brothers so they don’t experience torment like he was, replied, “Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’ But he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent!’ But he said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’” Revival is not what we need, because most people have shown they don’t want to stay awake, remain revived.

If we don’t need another revival, what do we need? Before we can have a reformation, a billion soul harvest or whatever major world changing idea people have prophesied, what we need is a revelation of Jesus Christ. Without a revelation of Jesus Christ, we may have another movement, but we will not move; we may have another revival but we won’t stay revived; we may get another financial breakthrough but we won’t stay out of debt. We need a revelation of Jesus Christ.

2 Is A Significant Number in 2022

Religion and religious people are reckless and restless, while kingdom people are living in rest and reverence. Many are tired of the new prophetic word every new year, thinking when are we going to see all the past prophetic words come to past. Biblical prophecy from men and women who hear from God, not the news, not their soul, not some other source, but speak only what they hear God say, their prophecy will come to pass, but it takes time. Time for the prophet of God is an ally not an enemy, for they are at rest and in reverance, they are not reckless and restless.

Habakkuk 2:1-3 says, “I will stand on my guard post And station myself on the rampart; And I will keep watch to see what He will speak to me, And how I may reply when I am reproved. Then the LORD answered me and said, ‘Record the vision And inscribe it on tablets, That the one who reads it may run. For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay.”

The year 2022 is going to carry with it some significant prophetic words from God. Many will “prophesy” for the Bible says, all can prophesy, but not everyone is going to speak as a prophet. When a prophet speaks, they say only what God is saying. Learning to discern the “prophecies” anyone can speak from the “prophetic word of the Lord” will keep your faith strong and your disappointment at bay. Trusted prophets will speak into this year, what God is saying, not just what you want to hear. For some the truth will be evident, for others it will be concealed, but if it is a word from God, it will come to pass, even if it takes some time. Trust me it will be worth the wait.

I have been hearing God speak about 2022 and I am still listening, so have not shared publically yet, what I am hearing, but I will say this, the number 2 is significant for 2022. There are going to be dual meanings to words given. There is going to be chapter 2’s that will prophesy to us. And two means witness or testimony and the testimony of Jesus which is the spirit of prophecy is going to take on new meaning this year. This is I know from what I am hearing, Jesus is going to be the main event of the prophetic words of 2022 coming from God’s mouth. What will man say, I do not know, but the Father is exalting the Son again in our day, this much I will say.

Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

The Lord is the bringer of really good news. Not tickle your ears good news, not flatter you good news, I mean substantive good news. When the good news comes from the Lord, you can put your trust in it, you can let your guard down because of it and you can find rest for your souls in it. When the Lord speaks good news, it really is that good!

Last night the Lord spoke to me two words, one Greek word, mesterio and one English word awakening. When I woke up these two words were on my mind. Mesterio and awakening. Put together they say the mystery awakening. After much prayer and study this morning, the mystery awakening the Lord showed me, which is really good news is Genesis 8:21 “When Yahweh smelled the sweet fragrance of Noah’s offerings, his heart was stirred, and he said, Never again will I curse the earth because of people, even though the imagination of their hearts are evil from childhood; nor will I ever again destroy every living creature as I have done. I promise this.” The mystery awakening taking place is that people are no longer going to buy into the fear narrative of God’s looming judgment which keeps them from Him.

The good news narrative the Lord is awakening His people to is from Isaiah 2:2 “Now it will come about that In the last days The mountain of the house of the LORD Will be established as the chief of the mountains, And will be raised above the hills; And all the nations will stream to it.” The good news will be preached and all the nations are going to come to it like a city set on a hill. The days of darkness, fear, terror and negative narratives is ending and days of the good news of the kingdom of God is here. Many need to repent of the narrative they believe and speak, for the kingdom is at hand.

Rich in Mystery

The desire to be the first to do something hinders us from the rich history that lies beneath our feet. Due to the reality that we live in the 21st Century is enough evidence that we are not the first to do anything. For some that is a challenging thought but for others that is a beautiful expression of generational blessings. Some may argue we are the first generation to have a phone, television or even land on the moon, but the truth is God was the one who did everything first, so anything any human may do is maybe second, but probably further down the line than we realize.

Embracing the mystery that is in the history will help us to appreciate the generations before us who did things we now consider brand new. Genesis 1 tells us that God spoke and creation listened and obeyed, that was the first form of communication. Adam was the first human to hear the voice of God and the list of firsts goes on and on. Why is this important, because when we you read the word of God the further you get away from Genesis, the book of firsts, the more you have to go back to Genesis to see the mystery that is in the history. Our God is a God of details and He spares nothing in making the highest quality everything with rich history as its foundation.

2 Chronicles 3: says, “Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the LORD had appeared to his father David, at the place that David had prepared on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.” When you read this if you don’t know the history the richness of where Solomon built the temple will be missed. Genesis 22:1-19 reveals the history, that explains the mystery of 2 Chronicles 3. Mount Moriah is where Abraham went to sacrifice Isaac, the same Mount Moriah where David had the Lord appear and so it is not a coincidence that Abraham named Mount Moriah “Yahweh Appears!” (Genesis 22:14).

As we end 2021 and reflect on all God has done, let looking back be a time of remembering the rich history in the soil of not only this year, but in many years gone by. We may be standing on what is new land to us, but it is not new to those who have gone before you. Take time to discover the history, for it is rich in mystery that unlocks truth that launches you into what you are heading into. There are many marvelous mysteries all around you, enjoy!

Watch for the Ancient Path

Everyday is unique, this morning I woke up with a pep in my step, so I grabbed the car keys and headed to the gym at 6am only to find out it is closed as today is Christmas Eve. I was not going to be detoured, so I walked to the back of the large empty parking lot and was going to do laps in the lot, for I was ready to move this body first thing this morning. As I journeyed to the back of the lot, I found what looked like a faint trail in the grass. There were no signs or markings, just the throught others have walked this way before, so I am going to see where it leads me.

Once on this grass trail, I come to a tree line and then a small creek with a make shift bridge made out of pallets and cinder blocks in order to cross it. Others have definitely come this way before and many times. On the other side of th creek is another grass trodden trail, so I continue to follow it and it leads to a paved path in which I can go right or left. I decided to go right and the path is surrounded by woods and cornfields. The sound of birds singing in the trees, the gentle breeze on this perfect morning made it a delight. I follow the path and it has old broken down excerise equipment at various stations along it. This probably was a popular path many years ago, and here I am just now finding it, yet it carries the same joy for me as it probably did for so many others that had gone before me.

As I walked the path I prayed, prophesied and praised the Lord. At one point I looked up and there was a red tail hawk sitting in the tree branch just watching waiting for potential breakfast. The Bible says in Jeremiah 6:16 “This is what the Lord says: Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.” I pray you never lose the awe, wonder and adventure of walking with God. I pray you never lose your childlike sense of curiosity that will take you on an unmarked trail. I pray you wake up every day alive and ready to go where He says go and do what He says do. I pray you live, really live while you are alive.

The Goad of God

What motivates you to action? What pokes you in such a way that you do something? We hear so many things, from television to YouTube; from Facebook to the reading of books; from pulpits to coffee shops; the amount of things we hear in a day, in a year is beyond comprehension and yet the measure of words in comparison to the measure of action is undeniably out of balance. Therefore, the question remains, what “goads” stimulate you to action?

A goad is a long stick with a pointed end used for prodding animals; it is anything that urges or stimulates into action. The Lord has had me on a trail of revelation this morning as it pertains to being drunk on knowledge. We love to read Facebook posts, watch YouTube videos, listen to people as we have lunch, dinner or coffee with them. We hear of this person writing a book, that person who wrote a book, we have Kindle, Mardel’s and Barnes and Noble because knowledge is wine and people love to drink and drink and drink. But to what end?

Writers must write, learners must learn, leaders must lead and to do so we must be readers, consumers of information in order to produce quality content. But knowledge is not the end, it is the launch pad. Solomon said it this way, “In addition to being a wise man, the Preacher also taught the people knowledge; and he pondered, searched out and arranged many proverbs. The Preacher sought to find delightful words and to write words of truth correctly. The words of wise men are like goads, and masters of these collections are like well-driven nails; they are given by one Shepherd. But beyond this, my son, be warned: the writing of many books is endless, and excessive devotion to books is wearying to the body. The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person. For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil” (Ecclesiastes 12:9-14).

My friends, I don’t write to hear myself speak, I write to prod you, to stimulate you to love God and love people. I don’t read to get puffed up with knowledge, to get drunk on information so I can validate my opinion or win an argument, I do it for I want to be stimulated to action, to love more, to serve more, to give more. I hope the same is true for you. For without love we are nothing, no matter how much we know. Love wins for love is the principle thing! Love is the new wine. Love is God and God is love. I pray you are prodded to be a lover for love is the goad God uses with us His sheep and that we are to use with each other. Love you!

The Profundity of Jesus

The wisdom of Jesus is profound on a level that is beyond human understanding, which is why we must be dead to our human self and alive in our divine self to not only comprehend it, but to embody it. The idea of dying to our self is not desirable to believers, for they have too many fears of being taken advantage of that fill their minds when they think of it; they have too many loves they are attached to, so cannot do it; and they have too many idols they worship to desire it. Yet, the knowing in their inner being reminds them that Christ lives in them and this is what He did and they know this is what they are to do, but the price is too high for most to pay. Yet for those who are paying the price, the reward of learning the wisdom of Jesus is more valuable than the self they lost in the transacation.

The men and women who heard the words of Jesus on the mountain as He narrated the beatitudes to them had the same internal struggle we have. They knew they were being called to a lifestyle that would satisfy their soul, revive their body and transform their very self, but the Romans were breathing down their necks, their families already thought they were crazy to even listen to this man, let alone do what He said, and their livelyhood would be at stake, they were counting the cost as well and many could not afford to follow the words of Jesus by actually living what He said. We are in the same situation, self-preservation has trumped our call to do what Jesus did in Philippians 2, yet the invitation is still lingering on the inside of us as Christ in us is still the hope of glory.

As we gather for this holiday season, we have the chance to display Christ in dying to ourselves and manifesting the King of glory, but to do so we must hear His wisdom and embody His words. “You have heard that it was said, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have?” I exhort you as a fellow believer, let love be the principle thing as you navigate these next ten days for we are about to step into days of awe and wonder on earth like we have never seen before. The reward of our love for God and people is going to produce more love for God and more love for people. Merry Christmas my friends.

Time To Grow Up

For 19 years of my life I was an unbeliever. I said unbelievable things, I did unbelievable things, and I am surprised that some of my girlfriends from high school still considering me a friend because of the unbelievable things. And yet 30+ years later those girls still consider me a friend and I still consider them friends.

I’ve been a Christian for over 30 years and what I have found most unbelievable is the way Christians that don’t know you speak to you on social media platforms. The liberty that Christians take to tear down other believers is astonishing to me. The assumptions that are made are incredible and so often inaccurate. Paul said, when I was a child I thought like a child and acted like a child but when I became a man I put away childish things. (1 Corinthians 13:11)

My friends we cannot go another minute another hour another day another month another year with our childish Christian behavior. We must consider others better than ourselves. We must learn what discerning of spirits is. And the first spirit we need to learn to discern is our own. We must remember the words of the old song by The Imperials, they will know we are Christians by our love. The word of God is meant to be used to edify, to build up, to comfort, and to correct in love not to whip other believers with, as though we know who they are despite never meeting them. Church it’s time to grow up. if we want to become sons and daughters of God we must mature.

Season of Manifestation

It’s the season of manifestation. From Tabernacles 2021 (September 2021) until Passover 2022 (April 2022) we are in a season of manifestation. Promises, long awaited and long ago spoken promises are coming to pass in this season. Tabernacles to Passover is God’s season of manifestation of promises historically and currently. We are living in one of those seasons of manifestation right now. Keep your eyes open for promises to manifest that have been lingering for a long time. Don’t just look in your own life, but look around in the lives of those you know as well and celebrate every manifestation you see take place.

In October 2021 a friend had a manifestation of a promise take place and the Lord spoke to me and said, “This is the first fruits of family restoration.” In December 2021 I have seen many manifestations of promises happening. One man I am friends with started his own business after 21 years with another company; another friend told me of the restoration of their marriage, calling it a miracle; another friend started dating after many many many years of no prospects. It is the season of manifestation, rejoice with those who are manifesting in this season. It is a season of manifestation.

Tabernacles and Christmas both celebrated John 1 “The word became flesh and dwelt among us.” It is the time of the manifestation of Emmanuel, God with us. Passover and the Lord’s Supper (Communion) is the manifestation of the promise of God to take away the sins of the world. It is the season of manifestation. What we have heard about with our ears is going to be seen with our eyes for it is the season of manifestation. God chose this season to manifest, this is why we are seeing people experience the manifestation of promises. If it hasn’t happened for you yet, don’t worry, it will manifest, when I don’t know, but I do know it will. I am still waiting too, but in the waiting I am rejoicing in the manifestation of others for it has shown me we are in a season of manifestation.
