King of the Mountain

We know we give what we’ve received, correct?
Therefore, the enemy can only give you what he’s received from God. The question then is, what has the enemy received from God?

Psalm 2 tells us the Lord spoke to the enemy and said, “I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain. I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD: He said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, And the very ends of the earth as Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron, You shall shatter them like earthenware.”

The very decree of God that He has installed a King on earth petrifies the enemy. The truth that this King Jesus has been given nations and the end of the earth intimidates the enemy to know end. So, now do you see why the enemy intimidates you, tries to deceive you and seeks to put fear in you? It’s because you and I are the body of this installed King Jesus, we are the body of Christ.

In prayer we break down the enemies rods of iron and we shatter his earthenware thoughts. We, with Christ, inherit nations and posses the ends of the earth. The enemy knows who we are so he seeks to cast doubt in us, for he knows our confidence in our head Jesus, is his demise and destruction. Rest my friends you are the body of Christ and the enemy is terrified of the King named Jesus of whom we are His body!

What You See Is Not What You Get

In a position of authority, has a title, sharply dressed, great communicator, personality plus, physically easy on the eyes, saying what you want to hear, humble, kind, generous. They must have my best interest in mind, they must be telling me the truth. People by nature are easily deceived by outward appearances. Short moments where anyone can sound humble, look innocent, and project your best interest.

We as people want to believe what people present to us. But, we must look past the outward appearance in order to know who we’re really dealing with. Most people are deceived by what they see and hear, so they dismiss/excuse what they do. This is how we get hurt because we see their character, but excuse it for due to their outward appearance/title.

Jesus said, “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?” (Matthew 7:15-16). A prophet is a communicator/ a voice/a spokesman. Don’t limit it to the title prophet, see the metaphor of the clothing versus the character.

Anyone can cover up their ravenous character with a presentable outward appearance. Samuel was told it this way by Yahweh, “The LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”
(1 Samuel 16:7).

You know what you see and hear in those dressed one way, but in reality are another person. Stop making excuses for them, rather beware of them, at least that’s what Jesus says to do.

Crescendo of Sounds

While out in my backyard praying this morning, the sound of two owls could be heard in the background. As I moved about my threshing floor in prayer lifting my voice with their voices in the background I heard the sound of their wings as they moved to different locations in the trees behind me.

In addition to the sound of the owls, I could hear the sound of the birds ushering in the beginning of a new day. Creation was praising the Lord this morning. The owls were singing praise at the end of the night and the other birds are singing praise for the breaking of a new day.

My voice joined with their voices to sing praises to the Lord. Psalm 150 was my prayer partner this morning and joined in this time of praise as well. The Psalmist brought in instruments to add to the song being sung.

Psalm 150:3-5 “Praise Him with trumpet sound;

Praise Him with harp and lyre.

Praise Him with timbrel and dancing;

Praise Him with stringed instruments and pipe.

Praise Him with loud cymbals;

Praise Him with resounding cymbals.”

The crescendo of sound coming from the Word added to the voices coming from creation as an experience of jubilation and celebration. Oh the joy of worshiping God with creation. “Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!” (Psalm 150:6) May you add your voice to the voices of creation singing praise to our God. Night and day; day and night; incense of praise is truly arising before our God.

Pleasure and Beauty

If you know your delighted in, will you let your guard down?

If you knew what was being done was to beautify you, would you relax?

If you were aware it was about relationship, would you say yes?

Me too!

Our experiences with humans who have hurt us has been used by the enemy to convince us that is what God’s like. But it’s not true. God is not a human, He doesn’t hurt us to teach us something; He doesn’t leave us or forsake so we pursue Him; He’s not human, He’s God.

This is what God says about us, “For the LORD takes pleasure in His people;

He will beautify the afflicted ones with salvation.” (Psalm 149:4) Pleasure and beauty that is what God is thinking about us. He’s taking pleasure in us, He is beautifying us.

Now let me ask you again,

If you know your delighted in, will you let your guard down?

If you knew what was being done was to beautify you, would you relax?

If you were aware it was about relationship, would you say yes?

Me too!

Frequency of Praise

There is a symphony of sound surrounding the throne of God on every side. It is called the language of praise and it’s coming from heaven and earth simultaneously. Praise is truly in the air. Praise is a love language that expresses gratitude to God. Praise is fitting for our God, praise is pleasant to him and praise is good for us. Praise is a language we as believers need to be fluent in for it is the language of creation.

No matter what you see around you, know that you can change the channel from chaos, confusion and conflict to praise by lifting up your voice, opening the psalms and praise will be the language that surrounds you, just as it surrounds God’s Throne. Praise is a weapon that tunes our heart to a different frequency and releases new sounds out of us and around us. Come on friend, let’s praise the Lord!

Psalm 148:1, 6 “Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens; Praise Him in the heights! … Praise the LORD from the earth!”

No Division

The reason there are factions and divisions in the body of Christ is because we have prioritized being in our gender; our pigment; our socio-economic status; our title; our whatever; over being in Christ and putting on love. We have put on the cultural narrative we have not put on love. We are in the main stream media madness we are not in Christ. If the body of Christ could put on Christ we would not be tossed to and fro by every wind of division that blows over the airwaves.

Colossians 3:10-11 “Put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the one who created him—-A renewal in which there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian , slave and free man, but Christ is all, and in all.”

Whatever you have been wearing this week that is not of Christ as you go to church this morning and kneel before His throne and worship may you put off the old self that creates division and put on the new self or we are all one in Christ. Have a great Sunday.

Ambitious or Obedient

Are you ambitious or obedient?

Do you trust God for the outcome, the income or both?

Ambition produces increase of money and opportunities.

Obedience produces intimacy, authority and abundance internally.

When we prioritize ambition we receive temporal satisfaction, but when we prioritize obedience we receive enduring satisfaction.

Obedience to God produces in us things money can’t buy.

Obedience produces health and enduring wealth.

Don’t be envious of those who are ambitious, rather model your life after those who are obedient.

The obedient trust God for the outcome and the income.

The obedient have joy, peace, patience and prosperity.

Obedience takes longer to manifest than ambition, but that’s because obedience builds within and then comes out.

The obedient are about to manifest!

Psalm 146:5 “How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God.”

Ending the House of Esau

For two days in a row my Bible fell open to Obadiah. On the second day, I said Lord is there something in here you want me to see? Like exploring a cave on a hike, the Lord opened up this prophets words in a way I could not have imagined.

The house of Esau/Edom is a house of violence against Jacob, Obadiah tells us. It is also the progenitor of the Roman Empire. It has ties to Babylon and Babylonian black money magic, and is connected to Baal worship and all that entails.

The Lord spoke to me on March 26, 2021 and said the thief has been caught. In March 2019, the Lord spoke to me and said, call for the fall of the iron and clay kingdom once and for all (Daniel 2). The iron and clay kingdom is the 4th kingdom or the Roman Empire/the house of Esau. And many have said we are in an Elijah time, and he dealt with Baal worship (1 Kings 18), which is the house of Esau.

The house of Esau is a mafia spirit and God says,

“The prophecy of Obadiah is being fulfilled right now.

The house of Esau is being ransacked.

Their hidden treasures are being searched out!

The Lord is destroying the wise men from Edom.

The Lord is destroying the understanding from the mountain of Esau.

Every man is being cut off from the mountain of Esau.

For the day of the Lord draws near on all the nations.

As they have done, it will be done to them.

Their dealings will return on their own head.”

Once the Lord deals a death blow to the house of Esau like Elijah did to the prophets of Baal, the house of Jacob will possess their possessions. The house of Jacob will be a fire and the house of Joseph a flame, but the house of Esau will be as stubble. There will be no survivor of the house of Esau and the kingdom will be the Lord’s. The prophecy of Obadiah is being fulfilled in our day, praise the Lord!

The Power Source

In prayer this morning the Lord highlighted the truth that the most powerful part of our lives is not how much money we have, the title we carry, the physical strength we have, nor is it the people we know, the most powerful part of our lives is our mouth. The mouth is the power source we’ve all been given. The mouth is the source of power.

When we realize we are created in the image of God, we recognize the Lord created everything with His mouth. We live in a words made world, as Genesis 1 tells us. Now since God’s power source is His mouth, it is no wonder that is our power source as well. The apostle James when speaking of the mouth said, “The tongue is a small part of the body, and yet it boasts of great things.”

Remember your mouth is your power source. It can build or it can tear down; it can create or it can confuse; it can plant or it can uproot; is it any wonder Jesus’ first parable is about sowing seeds (Words)? Use your power source to build, to bless, to release life into yourself and others. The power is not in your bank account it’s in your mouth.

Deuteronomy 30:14 “ The word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.”

Endings and Beginnings

Endings are beginnings. When we resist, delay, or refuse endings we never step into beginnings. When our physical body ends, our glorified body begins; When our time in the wilderness ends, our promised land begins. When we hang onto endings, we miss out on beginnings.

The Lord is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. He is the God who is in everything. We are never left to ourselves but we must not fight the ending or we won’t enter the beginning. People get stuck in the ending because it’s familiar but then they miss out on the new beginning. Our call is to let the Lord take us through the endings and bring us into the beginnings.

Walking by the Spirit and not by the flesh is about not holding onto anything so tightly that it hinders our movement. The spirit is like water it is continually moving. If we are going to transition between endings and beginnings we must be willing to allow the spirit of God and the river of life to take us into our new beginnings.

Grief must end so the joy can begin. Lack must end so that prosperity can begin. When singleness ends marriage begins. When winter ends spring begins. When the night ends the day begins. The idea of endings and beginnings are everywhere don’t resist the ending enter in to the new beginning.

Revelation 22:13 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”
