Hidden For You To Find

Have you ever read something and thought you knew what it meant, but then you circle back to it and all of the sudden you have an aha moment that you cannot deny? Yeah, that happened to me this morning. I was reading Proverbs 31 and my eyes were opened to a truth I had never seen before. Listen to this “An excellent wife, who can find? For her worth is far above jewels.” I have always read this verse with the emphasis on an excellent wife who can find, as though there are not many women of excellence. I guess that comes from the belief of not ever feeling like you measure up. But this morning I heard something I had never heard before.

Proverbs 31:10 says, “An excellent wife, who can find? For her worth is far above jewels.” Most people can’t find an excellent wife, because they do not recognize her worth. That which is highly valuable is kept in places out of public view. We do not display our rubies, diamonds, emeralds, gold bars, silver coins, or certain documents on the kitchen counter. No we have a special hidden place for these highly valuable things. The measure of the worth determines the location in which it is placed. Selah.

Women of worth are hidden not from you, but for you because they are carry so much value. When you find a woman of worth, it is because you were looking for something of value. When you find someone of value you treat it as valuable, precious, and even may keep much of it private. The heart of a woman is very valuable, so she hides it not from you but for you. When you find it, you have found a treasure of the likes you will never forget. This happens in marriage, friendships and even ministry settings, if you are willing to look for her. God keeps his most valuable treasures hidden for the seekers.

To my female friends, your worth is not diminished because it is not recognized. Your hiddeness is not punishment it is a statement of value. There is not a lack of worth in you there is a lack of seeking in most of us. We need a revival of the seekers, for there is so much to find, but we must be ones who are seeking. To my male friends, God made you seekers, hunters, pursuers, it is in your DNA to do this. When you stop seeking you stop finding, no matter what it is you are pursuing and you get bored. There are so many treasures God has hidden for you, starting with the Lord Himself, your wife, and even prosperity, but you must activate or reactivate the seeker, the pursuer, the hunter in you if you are going to find what is valuable. God hides it for us not from us, but we must go looking for it.

From Lazy To Lions

The voice of God is water to the soul for it reminds us every time we hear it that we serve a God that is presently active in our daily life. The drought is over, the famine of hearing the voice of God is done. He is a living God, who speaks to His people. Matthew 4:4 says, “Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” The voice of God is what keeps us alive and you can hear His voice, but you may not recognize it as Him. He is speaking to you all the time in a variety of ways. Our God is a words God, He left us His word, He speaks to us, He sings over us, He prophesies to us, He says faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. Friends, don’t believe the lie that you can’t hear God, you can and you do!!!!

This morning the Lord spoke to me and said, “You all will no longer be led by lazy leaders, I will lead you with lions.” I pondered this statement and the Lord continued, “The lion will lead you into the rhythm of His roar, the boldness of His stance and the comfort of His cadence.” I smiled and let the words of God be massaged into my inner most being. God is doing a leadership change from the lazy to lions and it is going to bring with it a new way of living for us as His children.

Proverbs 30:29-30 says, “There are three things which are stately in their march, Even four which are stately when they walk: The lion which is mighty among beasts And does not retreat before any.” We are about to be led by those who are going to teach us how to be overcomers, victorious, fearless, and it is going to change our posture, our countenance and our attitude. Victory, safety, authority release to us an attitude of humility that produces confidence. God is giving us new leadership and I am excited to see who we will become because of it. From the lazy to lions, here we go!!!!

Big Flakes and Blue Skies

Prophetic words in the New Testament are 1 Corinthians 14 for edification, encouragement and comfort. When God gives you a prophetic word for someone; nation; a region; or a city, it is to encourage them that God is for them and not against them. Prophetic words are to build you up not tear you down. They are to invest faith in you not plant fear in you. God gives us prophetic words to hang on to when things get challenging knowing there is an end to a season and there is a promise that He gives in the beginning, so we persevere with it until we see it fulfilled.

I was out walking the dog this morning, and snow flakes were falling from the sky. I lifted up my face to the flakes and stuck out my tongue to catch some while walking. Looking up, I saw bright blue skies. I have never been on the weather line between snow and blue skies before, so today was a new experience for me. As I was enjoying the snow and seeing the blue, the Holy Spirit said, “Snow is for cleansing so you can walk into the clear blue skies!” Immediately I knew this was a word for us as the church. We have been Isaiah 1:18 forgiven of our sins, they were like scarlet now they are white as snow. Once we are forgiven we walk into clear blue skies. We are not to circle back and live in sin so we can be forgiven so we can sin again. We are to walk into a new clear clean slate.

I believe we are seeing national cleansings around the world and the snow falling is evidence of that. Russia just got 9 feet of snow. The cleansing is because there is bright blue skies in front of us. The cleansing is so we can see clearly the great days in front of us. Jeremiah 29:11 was spoken at the beginning of Babylonian captivity to remind them God knew the plans He had for them to prosper them and to give them a future and a hope. We are at the end of a long season of disappointment but the snow falling on a bright blue sky day is evidence we are walking into a beautiful future.

The Reveal

Being people who for the most part are not agricultural in our understanding, we can read a parable of Jesus and find it a nice thought but not enter into the truth it is releasing. The reason being we do not have an agricultural culture in order to fully understand what is being said. This is true in any industry. I have a good friend who is an architect and his understanding of blueprints is beyond anything I understand, so I lean on his understanding in order to learn more about blueprints.

We as the church love the word harvest. It speaks of increase, prosperity, evangelism, souls, money, all the things we love and makes us rejoice. But one thing many do not talk about when it comes to harvest time is how it is a time of revealing what has been sown. Seeds sown are not revealed until the harvest. Jesus said it this way, “Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn.” (Matthew 13) We are in a time of the harvest! What has been sown is being shown.

The time of the harvest we are in is revealing some seeds that were sown we did not know about, or may have speculated about but now are being revealed. Some seeds are tares and they are being bundled in order to be burned. It is hard to hear the truth about seeds that were sown we did not know were sown but are now being shown. Remember, he bundled and burned the tares first, then he gathered the wheat to bring into his barn. Friends, we are in the bundling of the tares stage of harvest, this is why we are hearing and seeing things in every area of society. Knowing where we are is important because the Lord has to remove the tares before He can gather the wheat. No this is not the rapture, this is the kingdom cycle of harvest. Can you see it happening? I can. I hope that helps you understand where we are and what is coming next.

Take It Away

What a week it has been with the voice of God awakening me every morning to a word, a phrase or statement. Many people ask me how to hear the voice of God and for me it is simple. The word of God is the voice of God. If you are a reader of the word of God, you will be a hearer of the voice of God. But when you read, you need to lean in when something stands out.The voice of God reveals the character of God so when you hear a voice, you know whose voice it is because you know their character. Does that make sense?

This morning I was awakened again to the voice of God. Today He said, at 5:21 am “Take from one and give it to another.” For me everything God speaks to me is found in scripture, that is why I am so confident in what I hear. The statement God spoke comes from Matthew 25:28 “Take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags.” But another scripture came to my spirit as well and it is found in Isaiah 22:19-20 “I will depose you from your office, and you will be ousted from your position. In that day I will summon my servant, Eliakim son of Hilkiah. I will clothe him with your robe and fasten your sash around him and hand your authority over to him.” Whether the Lord is speaking of a wealth transfer or a change of who is in office, I am not 100% sure for He did not tell me. What I do know, is there is a change of hands happening right now.

Add this statement to the others this week I have been awakened to and the picture is coming clear. God is on the move and He is not losing this battle He is winning it. He is taking charge of it all and when He is done with this transition, we are going to be living in a whole new reality. This I am confident of and it is going to be better than we could have dreamt, for I know the character of the voice I hear. It is a great time to be alive.

Road Trip

Do you know where you are going? When I lived in Seattle, WA, I was attending a Bible School and a group of us were from MN so we planned a road trip to MN. We can literally take one highway from Seattle to MN, I-90. It takes 24 hours to make the trip and when you are in college you switch drivers so you can do it in a weekend plus one day. Oh the things we did when we were young. We did the same thing when our RA took our whole floor to Disneyland for the weekend. Seattle to Anaheim, again one main highway, I-5 straight south and about 18 hours, but we made it in a day, went to Disneyland the next day and were back in time for classes on Monday morning. College life was so much fun.

Reading Psalm 84 this morning reminded me of these great memories, for when you have a highway inside of you, and you know where you are going, you do not deviate from the destination you are headed to. The psalmist says, “How blessed is the man whose strength is in You, In whose heart are the highways to Zion! Passing through the valley of Baca they make it a spring; The early rain also covers it with blessings. They go from strength to strength, Every one of them appears before God in Zion” (Ps. 84:5-7). The highway in you gives you strength and it changes things along the way. It doesn’t say you won’t weep on the journey, it says the weeping is turned into springs, because you passed through the valley of weeping.

We have a highway inside of us that leads us into the presence of God. No matter what challenges we face, it does not detour us from our destination. I-90 goes from Seattle to MN; I-5 goes from Seattle to Disneyland; but the blood of Jesus goes from the cross to the kingdom and once you get on that highway inside of you, even places of weeping turning into springs because there is a highway inside of you and you only get stronger the longer you are on it. Put the top down, throw your hands up, grab some friends and enjoy the road trip of a lifetime. The journey is the destination and the destination is the journey. Get on the highway of God and don’t get off!

The Drought Is Over!

GOOD NEWS ALERT!!!!!

I was awakened at 5:30am this morning to one word, “Elijah”. I immediately thought Mount Carmel, but as I was out walking the dog, thinking about this word, Elijah, and asking the Lord, what about Elijah, the Holy Spirit said, “The drought is over!” Oh how joy filled my heart immediately and the pep in my step was obvious. As soon as I got home, I began to read 1 Kings 17 and 1 Kings 18. Elijah called for the drought by the command of God and Elijah ended the drought by the command of God.

1 Kings 17:1 “Now Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the settlers of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the LORD, the God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, surely there shall be neither dew nor rain these years, except by my word.”

1 Kings 18:1 “Now it happened after many days that the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, “Go, show yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain on the face of the earth.”

1 Kings 18:41 “Now Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of the roar of a heavy shower.”

The Lord says, “The drought is over!!!!” Yesterday He said, Babylon has fallen, which is an Elijah word as well, because on Mount Carmel they saw the prophets of Baal fall to the God of Israel, then the decree manifested with the sound of the abundance of rain. You can’t make this stuff up. God said, “Elijah and the drought is over”.

This means the wilderness is over, the cave time is over, the famine is over. Cast off your heaviness, put on the garment of praise; the drought is over! Stop your fasting and start feasting, the drought is over! God changes seasons and when He does we need to change what we are doing, how we are acting. Shift quickly, pivot now, the rain is falling, the drought is over!!!! The days of mourning are over, the days of rejoicing are upon us. If you want to find me, I will be outside dancing and singing in the rain!

THUD

I was awakened this morning to the sound of a loud “thud” in the spirit. My initial thought was something had fallen and hit the ground, then the Holy Spirit said, before my eyes were even opened, “Babylon has fallen!”

Babylon has been a theme the Lord has been speaking to me since 2017. Over the past seven years the Lord has brought me back to this subject over and over again. When I started this journey around this mystery city, I had no idea what it was, what it was doing, or anything about it. But the Lord took me on a biblical tour, so now when He says “Babylon is fallen!” I know it is Revelation 18 and I know I am to decree what He is saying. So, again today, I decree “Babylon is fallen!”

Prophetic words are like time capsules, you speak them, they go into the atmosphere and then time elapses before them come to pass. Many people are weary of hearing prophetic words, for they say, “We have heard that before.” Maybe not out loud but in their hearts they are weary of another word about the changes coming, when nothing seems to change. But if God said it, we can hang on to it, for God is not a man that He should lie. And prophetic voices that are not profiting off of what God is saying, have nothing to gain or lose by only speaking what God is saying. So, I say it again, “Babylon has fallen!”

One final word of encouragement for you about prophetic declarations. Jesus said over 30 years in advance that the temple in Jerusalem would be destroyed. He declared it one day and over 30 years later it happened. Prophetic words are not instant oatmeal, they take time to come to pass, but prophetic words from God are seeds and they will produce the harvest they were sent forth to create. God said it, I believe it, now we wait to see it. “Babylon has fallen!!!!”

Two Cities

Two trees in the garden; two choices given by Moses (life or death); two paths (the narrow or wide); two cities (Babylon or Jerusalem). We have choices to make all the time. No one can choose for you. Every choice is only the beginning. Choices come with manifestations. Adam and Eve were the first two people to be given a choice as to who they would listen to, God who walked with them in the cool of the day, or the serpent who told them lies about Yahweh. Real love always gives you a choice, for real love is not a dictator, a commander, it is not controlling. Real love creates choices and lets you choose what you want. No wonder Joshua said to the people, choose this day whom you will serve, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua made his choice, but he could not choose for anyone else, they have to make their own choice.

There are two cities in the Bible which are prevelant and prominent throughout. Those two cities are Babylon and Jerusalem. There is so much to say about these two cities, but suffice it to say, Babylon is of the earth and Jerusalem is from above. These two cities offer us a choice as to which one we want to live in, where we want to invest, the culture we want to learn. Both have history and both are a mystery in many ways, but once you know about these two cities, you will understand they represent two systems and we must choose which we want to operate in. The church is standing at a crossroads, a decision point, one city is rising, another one is falling; one is coming down from heaven the other is going to be put under our feet. The question is which city has your heart?

Matthew 6:19-21 says, “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

I am going to do a 4 week study on these two cities via zoom and if you want to join in email me at apostolicresourcecenter@gmail.com and I will send you the details. The church is not talking about this, but it is so prevalent in our reality we must discuss this for it is affecting us in ways we do not even fully understand. The invitation from the Lord is to come out of her My people, but how can you come out of what you do not even recognize you are in? Let me know if you want to be apart of these zoom meetings. It’s time!

Remove The Stone

Gregorian year 2024; Hebrew year 5784; Psalm 24 is what many are saying this year is all about. The year of the open door. Yes, yes, yes and yes again to all of it. Are we in a prophetic year of the likes we have not known before, I sure do believe so. Are we fully aware of all that God is going to do this year, of course we are not, His ways are higher than our ways, His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. However, He loves to give us clues as to what He is doing and about to do.

The word of God is living and active (Hebrews 4:12) that means it speaks in now time. This does not alter the reality of what it meant in now time then, but it also means it speaks in now time right now. I was reading John 11 this morning and one phrase jumped off the page at me and the Holy Spirit said, “Year of the open door!” John 11:39 says, “Jesus said, Remove the stone.” Immediately as I read this, I saw the stone as a door and Jesus commanded it to be removed. Jesus is opening graves, tombs, caves and though there may be a bad stench for some things have been dead for a while, Jesus said in John 11, “I Am the resurrection and the life!!!!”

I hear it roaring in the spirit, “REMOVE THE STONE”; can you hear it? Can you feel that in the spirit? The God of heaven is declaring over the earth, “REMOVE THE STONE!” Church we have been given authority to remove the stone with our prayers, with our prophetic decrees, with our songs, with our money, with our shofars. The decree of heaven is remove the stone. The stone was the door to the cave, the grave and Jesus said and is saying, “REMOVE THE STONE!” Dead things must come to life, buried things must be unearthed, the God of resurrection life is living inside of us. It is the year of the open door, 2024, 5784, “Remove the stone!!!”
