If you have been barren for quite some time, you have already been processed through the disappointment fatigue and may even be in the place where it seems as though it will never happen. But there is a promise in the atmosphere you cannot shake. You know what God said. Even though no one else truly understands why you keep hanging on, you are in good company with Abraham.
Romans 4:17-19 says, “I have made you a father of many nations in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.”
When you have waited and waited and waited but kept hanging on and you become pregnant. You know it, even if others don’t. You see it, even if others can’t. Then as the due date approaches you feel the shift from pregnant to birthing promise.
One would think you would have no worries, no concerns, only elated joy, but there is this voice that wonders, what if it doesn’t live, what if it doesn’t happen, what if this is not as real as I know it is?
The voice of Isaiah 66:9 then comes and says, “Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery?” says the LORD. “Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb?” says your God.”
Friends who know this process I speak of. You know where we are. You know the voice that has come to deny what is truth. Hear the words of Isaiah, hear the voice of the prophet of old speaking for the Lord Himself. You will give birth, you will deliver, your promise is here!!!! Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org
