Are You Blessed?

Do you want to be called blessed? Do you want to be blessed? Did you know the key to being blessed is to believe? Luke 1:45 says, “Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.”

Did you hear what was said to Mary? Blessed is she who believes. But not just believes anything. She believes what the Lord told her. Not what some other person told her, what the Lord told her. And being blessed means you see, experience the fulfillment of the things the Lord told you.

Many people call themselves blessed or say the words God blessed me with this or that, but when you inquire of what they called a blessing, it is not a blessing. A blessing from the Lord comes as fulfillment from what God told you. If this is the standard, we have lowered the bar of what is means to be blessed.

To be blessed you must be able to hear the voice of God and believe. To believe means to obey what the Lord says, to trust the timing of God, to wait on the Lord. We do not consider these things as blessings. Waiting is hard. Walking by faith is hard. Trusting God and others is hard. Being blessed is not easy, it is hard work in the spirit.

The reason it is hard is because we are so culturally scientific, we want proof, facts, before we believe. We want instant results before we believe. We do not want to put in the work of listening, reading, praying, in order to hear the word of the Lord for our lives and then obey that word until it comes to pass.

If you want to be blessed biblically, like Mary was blessed you must believe and believing brings about the fulfillment of what the Lord your God told you. I am not speaking from theory, I am speaking this from reality. I am blessed and you can be too, but you must believe. Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org
