I just saw something in the spirit that I believe we need to all see. I was praying Psalm 34:1 that says, “I will bless the Lord at all times and His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” I felt the presence of God all over this passage and it brought me to repentance as at times I have questioned God’s plan for my life, I have complained about how long things have taken to come to pass that He has promised, and when I have been angry with Him because I did not get my way. I confessed these things and the weight of His presence sat on me as I thought of others who have said, why does God allow this or why does God not do that? We are so quick to blame God and David was so quick to bless and praise God. Oh that we would be a people that bless the Lord at ALL times and that have His praise CONTINUALLY in our mouths.
Once I finished repenting I began praising the Lord, blessing the Lord and thanking the Lord for many things. It was during this praise time in which I was thanking God for revealing to me something He has for me, when I had a vision, I believe is for all of us. Once we see what God has for us, we need to put our foot in the door and not let it shut, even though someone may not give it to us as quickly as they said they would. If God revealed this is what He has for us, we need to put our foot in the door, so it can’t shut on that promise that He revealed is for us. What I sensed is we have had doors close because we did not put our foot in the door until it opened wide enough for us to enter into it.
God does not dangle carrots in front us to get us to follow Him and then say, just kidding. He shows us what He has for us, because He prepared it for us, but the enemy does not give up stuff easily or quickly, so somethings you see need you to put your foot in the door so it cannot be shut. My God today, I see it is so clearly. It is like we get a sneak peak, but we are so passive, we don’t apprehend what is ours by putting our foot in the door until the enemy backs off and we get what God has for us. I got my foot in the door on some promises and if no one else understands why I am still standing there with my foot in the door, its okay. I know what God has for me, I am not moving until I get what He has shown me. Jacob said, I will not let you go until you bless me. Jacob put his foot in the door. I have my foot in some doors. What about you? If the door opened for you to see, put your foot in the door until God opens that door wide enough for you to enter in and occupy what He has shown you.
