Gates and A Highway

On Saturday morning I was reading Proverbs 8 and it says, “Isn’t Lady Wisdom calling? Listen; don’t you hear the voice of understanding crying out? She’s taken her stand at the highest place in the city, at the crossroads where everyone can see her. There, and at the gates, at the entrance to the city, right in front of the city doors she cries out.” Immediately the Holy Spirit says to me, Isaiah 62:10-12, “Go through, go through the gates, Clear the way for the people; Build up, build up the highway, Remove the stones, lift up a standard over the peoples. Behold, the LORD has proclaimed to the end of the earth, Say to the daughter of Zion, “Lo, your salvation comes; Behold His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him.” And they will call them, “The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD”; And you will be called, “Sought out, a city not forsaken.” This was the assignment for the weekend.

After some research, I learned there is one old highway that goes through the whole state of Tennessee, it is US Route 31. This highway does not start in the North and go South, like I thought it would, it starts in the South and goes North. The Lord said, “Start in the South and drive North, go through, go through the city gates, build up, build up a highway for Me.” I research each of the cities I will be going through, and the first thing I learn is that Ardmore, TN, exit 1, on the Alabama border was originally called Athenaville. For you that know Nashville, the Athena and Athens are a theme in this state. I stood on the bridge with Alabama on one side and Tennessee on the other and faced TN, on 31 highway and blew the shofar declaring, we are going through the gates and building a highway for our God.

We then proceeded through city after city, blowing the shofar in each city. We came to Pulaski, the starting place of the KKK and the Lord has us repenting according to 2 Chronicles 7:14; we came to Columbia, TN where they have the Athenaeum (Athena again) an all girls school from the 1800’s. Then it was through Spring Hill, Thompson Station, and into Franklin, TN where the first Jew was lynched in the USA, more repentance declared, more gates opened, more building up a highway for our God. We continued through Brentwood, Oak Hill, Berry Hill and into Nashville, where at a roundabout 31 Highway splits into two becoming 31 W and 31 E as they head north to the Kentucky border.

I ended in Nashville yesterday after two days of travel on this old highway through the state. And the reason I stopped in Nashville is because the Lord revealed to me the Tower of TN (Thanks Aaron Kolb and Sarah) and the Gardens of Babylon all located in the same location. There is work in the spirit that needs to be done in Nashville, then I will finish the highway for I believe it is prophetic as to why two 31 highways come out of the North into Nashville and then it becomes one highway. More on that later. But for now, we have Isaiah 62:10’d our state and God is building up His highway for His glory.
