I wonder if our challenge is we want to be alive in the flesh so badly, we are not coming fully alive in the spirit. We cannot be alive in both the flesh and the spirit. We are called to put to death the deeds of the flesh so we can be alive in the spirit, but we have been lied to and said we can live in the flesh and the spirit simultaneously and that is just not biblically accurate. No wonder so many people avoid church, Christianity and even God. They were told come as you are, so they did. Then they were told say a prayer so you can go to heaven, so they did. But no one told them you have to die to your flesh in order to be alive in the spirit. So, they said a prayer, but do not have an abundant life. Hmmmmmmmm

1 Peter 3:18 says, “For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;” Until we put to death the flesh, the self life we love so much, we will never be alive in the spirit. Being a Christian in the flesh is the most challenging life you will live. But we are not called to live in the flesh, but in the spirit. However, to do this, you must literally surrender all. You must die to your self, your flesh, and live for Jesus the Christ. There is no lukewarm, half-hearted, when I feel like it or am in the mood spirit life. When you have died to your self, to your flesh, you are alive in the spirit and you want you want to get up in the morning, for you are so alive.

1 Peter 1:13-16 says, “Prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, “YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY.” Friends, He paid a big price for us to be free, this is not about going to heaven, but about living alive in the spirit on earth. We are ambassadors for Christ. We are His witnesses. We must die to our self, so we can live and show a dying world what life really looks Iike.

Chuck Pierce and Glory of Zion International in Dallas, TX does a Head of the Year conference to start off the every new Hebrew year. Insight both prophetically and practically is released during this conference from a variety of speakers and prophetically voices both planned and spontaneous. Staring on Thursday and ending on Sunday morning, revelation flowed freely through this ministry this past weekend. One thing Chuck said was, “Pay attention to the signs on your path this year.”

For you that don’t know on the Hebrew calendar, which predates the Gregorian calendar, it is the year 5784. The number 4 in Hebrew is the picture of a door, as the Hebrew alphabet is letters, numbers and pictures. Therefore, this year was themed the year of the door. Much was said about this year and there are many scriptures about doors, gates, thresholds in scripture, so the creeks off this years river are many. But, yesterday, I opened the passanger “door” to my son’s truck to go to church and when I did there was a fully developed spider web with a spider sitting right in the center of it. I looked at it, for it was visible to me and needed to be dealt with for me to enter into the vehicle.

Remembering what Chuck said about paying attention to the signs on your path this year, I found it prophetic, that a spider web and spider would be on the other side of the door. Spiders and webs represent deception, lies, evil spirits, entanglement, but it also represents an end of an era. The web and spider so visibly displayed on the others side of the door, represents the end of an era of lies, deception and evil spirits ruling in the atmosphere of the church. I called my son over and he killed that spider and destroyed that web so I could enter into his vehicle. My son said, “now that it’s dead there will be no more webs”. I said, yes, yes, yes, son you are so right.

My friends, the evil ruling spirits of the last era are dead, the web of their lies is visible and as we enter this new year of the door, open door, double doors, we must kill any old mindsets and destroy any webs of lies from a past season, an old era, for we have crossed over into a new space and time in which truth reigns, righteousness rules and purity prevails. Welcome to 5784. Get in, we have so many places to go!

When all the main amplified voices in our nation, who we call “prophets” are all saying the same thing, it is unique and worthy of taking note. It is unique not because it shouldn’t always be this way, but because usually there is not this type of synchronicity of sound that is undeniable. People have said, who are we supposed to believe, one person is saying this and another is saying that. We do not have that issue right now in this moment. All the amplified voices are saying a shaking is coming. All of the amplified voices are saying they do not know what it will be in specificity but a shaking is coming and it is inevitable.

For years I have said, Babylon is falling (Revelation 18). Since the Lord sent me to Jekyll Island, GA to abort what was conceived there in 2021, I have known this shaking was going to be financial. I have written about it over and over again. Then last Sunday, the Lord spoke to me and said, “Read the book of Amos, so I have been reading this book of prophecy all week long and yesterday I read Amos 8:4-8 “Hear this, you who trample the needy, to do away with the humble of the land, saying, When will the new moon be over, So that we may sell grain, And the sabbath, that we may open the wheat market, To make the bushel smaller and the shekel bigger, And to cheat with dishonest scales, So as to buy the helpless for money And the needy for a pair of sandals, And that we may sell the refuse (chaff) of the wheat? The LORD has sworn by the pride of Jacob, Indeed, I will never forget any of their deeds. Because of this will not the land quake.”

When I read financial injustice is what is causing the land to quake, I was again told this shaking is going to be financial. We have been robbed financially since the conception on Jekyll Island, GA and we have been being robbed every since. Even today prices are higher and portion sizes are smaller, sounds like Amos to me. The hammer of justice is coming down on Babylon and this system of corruption is being judged by God Himself. Yes we will feel the shaking, but it is not for our breaking but our making. Don’t try and hoard, for your money won’t spare you from the shaking, only your faith will stabilize you when Babylon falls.

What is the purpose for which you were made? You and I were born for such a time as this. People love to look back on different eras of time, wishing they lived during one of the great awakenings; dreaming of what it would have been like in Ireland during the Welsh revival; or how much fun it would have been to live in Israel when Jesus was alive. We spend time dreaming of a day gone by while we live with no understanding of the purpose for which we were made right here and right now. What is the purpose for which you were made for right now?

We are living in historic days. We were born for these days, for this time, for this moment in history. What is the purpose for which God has made you for right here, right now. You are in your nation for a purpose. You are your gender for a purpose. You are your race for a reason. What is the purpose of all of it for right now? The answer to this question unlocks untold joy, which is really the fruit of contentment. Anxiety, fear, depression, are fruits of a lack of contentment, which comes from understanding purpose. God did not just toss seed and out you came, He planted seed and birthed you for such a time as this. Understanding your purpose is critical for your soul’s rest. If you don’t know the answer then ask the Lord, what is the purpose of my being born at this time in history? He will answer if you ask.

Proverbs 16:4 says, “The LORD has made everything for its own purpose, Even the wicked for the day of evil.” God made you for a purpose. Paul said in Acts 13:36 “Now when David had served God’s purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep; he was buried with his ancestors and his body decayed.” God made you for a purpose. I pray you discover what that purpose is, so you can fulfill the purpose for which you were made. My purpose is to communicate the gospel of the kingdom to a generation that does not know the truth that wil set them free. I was created for a purpose in this time of history. What is your purpose, once you know it, you will realize you were created on purpose to solve a problem and it will bring you great joy.

We serve a God who speaks the end from the beginning, He does this so when we are walking through the process it takes to obtain the promise He has spoken we can remember the promise and not quit during the process. Jesus said, “When I return will I find faith on earth?” Hebrews 11:1 says, Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of that which is not seen.” He speaks the end from the beginning, in order to develop faith in us, not to make us famous. Faith is the value He wants developed in us, because faith is irreplacable, unshakable and honestly the foundation of everything. Everything not of faith is going to be shaken, so only that which cannot be shaken will remain. Faith can’t be shaken.

I was reading Psalm 105 this morning and the Psalmist was talking about the history of how God worked and walked with Israel. Here is what the Psalmist says in regard to Israel as it pertained to Joseph, “To Israel as an everlasting covenant, Saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan As the portion of your inheritance,” When they were only a few men in number, Very few, and strangers in it. And they wandered about from nation to nation, From one kingdom to another people. He permitted no man to oppress them, And He reproved kings for their sakes: “Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm.” And He called for a famine upon the land; He broke the whole staff of bread. He sent a man before them, Joseph, who was sold as a slave. They afflicted his feet with fetters, He himself was laid in irons; Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of the LORD tested him.” God made a covenant with them about a promised land they would possess, but they didn’t just walk right into it, they were processed into it, so they had faith when they entered it.

Many in the body of Christ have been processed for the past years, but today we are standing at the door of promise as we are about to enter into 5784 the year of the door. We are not going to kick in the door, ignore the door or scream at the door, no we have faith now, for we have been processed and we are going to use our faith to speak to the door and it will open. We have been given our voice back, which is the voice of faith, so we speak and doors open. Welcome to 5784, the year of the door! The process was hard, but for those who didn’t quit, faith has become the substance of the things we hope for, and now what God spoke so many years ago that started us on this journey is now at the door and here we are. Speak and the door shall open, for your faith has made you well, so you don’t have to yell!

I keep hearing the phrase “Second Hand Smoke”. The Lord is saying, many are breathing in second hand smoke, they are not breathing the fresh air of heavenly realities. Second hand smoke is filled with carcinogens and toxic air that is harmful to you, but the fresh air of heaven is what makes you a living soul, what fills you with hope, what puts in you the anticipation of good, just, right and true things. Second hand smoke is the doctrines of man, telling you who they believe God is, telling you what they believe God is saying, telling you what they want you to know about God. Fresh air is reading the word of God for yourself, hearing the voice of God yourself, experiencing the presence of God alone. Fresh breath from heaven is being alone with God and knowing what He says about Himself and you.

I was reading Psalm 104 this morning and it was such a breath of fresh air. It poetically describes God with imagery that causes men to marvel at HIs majesty, ponder HIs power and desire His truth. It captures creation in a way that makes me wonder why we settle for artificial light, rather than going outside and letting all of creation communicate the truth about who God is. The psalmist describes God by what He saw in creation and it is awe inspiring. He understood things we don’t and yet we think we are so advanced. Oh to get back to staring at the stars, listening to the sound of running water, watching the birds, oh the things we would learn about God. These things are the fresh air of heaven, nature is not second hand smoke, the media is.

Psalm 104:24 says, “O LORD, how many are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all; The earth is full of Your possessions.” There is wealth to be discovered in creation. A wealth of wisdom, a wealth of truth, a wealth of understanding the ways of God. He is creator and He has used creation to communicate to us. It is time for some fresh air to get a fresh perspective, for all this second hand smoke is killing us, but the fresh air of heaven is life to us. Breath deep the fresh air of God, it will make you feel better.

Whenever I get a puzzle, the first thing I do is flip all the pieces over so I can see the side that has the image on it. Next I pull out all the border pieces, so I can establish the perimeter and then I start putting similar looking pieces together, so I can get a sense of what is going with what, and what may go where. The more pieces there are, the more time it takes, but it sure is a fun challenge and many people enjoy doing puzzles. The best part is, puzzles are an all ages activity.

The Lord has been putting puzzle pieces in front of me for a week now and they are thematic, but I am not clear what is going to happen, even though I do know the message being sent, which I will share with you. Let me give you the puzzle pieces.

For the whole summer my friend has been awoken in the middle of the night of many occasions to knocking on the door, smoke alarms beeping, alarms going off, things that have gotten her attention but she does not know what the Lord is saying to her, so she tells me and I have not gotten anything but the “sounds” she is hearing. Another friend, has been seeing 911 for months, over and over again in various places, yesterday he saw it again and his wife is asking what does this mean. Yet another friend as well is getting 911 and she said she believes it is national not personal. I have since Saturday been given some puzzle pieces as well.

On Saturday night the Lord said, “The enemy is at the gate, 2 Chronicles 20:20-21”. It says they went out to the wilderness of Tekoa. Then on Sunday morning, the Lord says, “Read Amos”. I open to Amos 1 and it says, “The words of Amos, who was from Tekoa.” Okay, what does Tekoa mean? Tekoa means trumpet blast. It references Jeremiah 6:1 “Now blow a trumpet in Tekoa”. Alarms, 911, trumpet blast and we are fast approaching the Feast of Trumpets. Puzzle pieces from various people unconnected sharing things with me and then the amplified voice prophets have all said “A shaking is coming!” What is God saying?

I believe the Lord is saying, “Brace for impact!” I do not know what is about to happen, but I know something is about to happen. A shaking of the likes that is setting off the warning alarms ahead of time is fast approaching. How’s do we prepare, I know the safest place to be is in the will of God. What does that look like? Obedience to the voice of God. What is coming, I don’t know, but what I do know is a storm is coming and Hebrews 12:26-28 shaking is going to happen and honesty we need it.

Giving our life to Jesus is not a prayer we pray and then go back to doing our own thing, it is a surrendering of our whole life, so we can now live for someone else. I had a vision many years ago, of an altar filled with gold rings sitting on it. The person who gave the altar call didn’t invite people to say a prayer but to enter into a covenant relationship with the living God. It was an altar for a wedding, where people agreed to forsake all others in order to follow this man Jesus. I will never forget that vision and one day I believe it will be not a vision but an actual altar call that is done. As the few people who agreed to the terms of the covenant came forward they were given a rain to signify the covenant between them and the Lord. They went from living as a single person who made their own decisions to being a married person in the spirit who now submitted their whole life to take on His name, to live by His covenant standard and to live with Him as He lived in them.

I was reminded of this vision this morning as I read in Amos 2:4 where it speaks to the people of God saying, “Thus says the LORD, For three transgressions of Judah and for four I will not revoke its punishment, Because they rejected the law of the LORD And have not kept His statutes; Their lies also have led them astray, Those after which their fathers walked.” When we agree to walk with Jesus, we agree to do what He says. The issue with Christianity is we want to live our own life but say we are believers. I hear the voice of God crying out asking, do you agree with My word? Do you do what I say? Do you really want to be in a relationship with Me? I want to do life with you, but do you want to do life with Me?

Amos 3:3 says, “Do two walk together unless they agree to do so?” I hear the Lord asking us to agree with Him on earth for what He has spoken to us from heaven. He is looking for people to walk with, but to walk with Him you must agree with Him, not only on what you think is right, but on all He says, for He is God and we are not. Today is a great day to renew your yes, establish your agreement and come back to that altar not to say a prayer but to accept a ring, that says I want to do life with you, I want to agree with you. There is no greater honor than being invited to walk with God while we live on earth. Happy wedding day friends!

It has been prophesied there is a change of leadership coming in many spheres of influence. When you have been under harsh leaders, oppressive leaders, or even task master leaders, a leadership change is desired, but until it happens, it can be hard to believe. Not only is it hard to believe, but when a new leadership is established it takes time to adjust to. The Lord has made us so adaptable that we literally conform to what we are placed in or under. Have you ever lived in a small house, drove a small car or went to a small church and became so adapted to it when you moved into a bigger house, bought a bigger car of went to a bigger church it took you some time to adjust to it. But once adjusted you were fine. This is the beauty of the way the Lord made us, we are very adaptable.

With this leadership change will come the need to adapt, for we are moving out of harsh, task master oppressive leadership in many areas of society to a new leadership style. There will be a time of transition so we can adapt to the new, for it may in many ways be too good to be true, but that is because it is new. You will adapt, you will thrive, you will adjust. But here is what I see coming and what we are going to have to adapt to. It is found in 2 Kings 25:29 “Jehoiachin changed his prison clothes and had his meals in the king’s presence regularly all the days of his life; and for his allowance, a regular allowance was given him by the king, a portion for each day, all the days of his life.” We are moving from prison to presence and it will take adjustment of environment and a change of clothes.

The prison clothes of sin, sickness and oppression will be changed with robes of righteousness garments of praise, and sandals of the gospel fo peace. We will have to learn how to eat in the presence of the King of kings, how to dine with royalty and live in abundance. The prison doors are opening, the earth is shaking us free, it is going to change how we see. Everything is going to change, but don’t worry God made you with the ability to adapt.

The war we are in is not one of flying bullets, barreling tanks, or invading armies in combat boots, but it is no less a war than a physical war and may even be a more dangerous war for it is a war of words. This war of words is no respecter of gender, age or socioeconomic status. Jesus said, the devil is a liar and has been a liar from the beginning, Jesus even called him the father of lies. When Jesus encountered the war head on with Satan in Luke 4 it was a war of words, where Satan invited Jesus to bow down to him and then offered him the whole world. Jesus won the war of words with the enemy when He was living on earth and we must do the same. This is not a war someone else can win for you, this is a war others can support you in but you must win this one yourself.

In 2 Kings 18 this was on full display, when an enemy by the name Rabshakeh came and sought to intimidate God’s people with words, listen to what this enemy says, “Do not listen to Hezekiah when he misleads you, saying, “The LORD will deliver us.” Has any one of the gods of the nations delivered his land from the hand of the king of Assyria? Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim, Hena and Ivvah? Have they delivered Samaria from my hand? Who among all the gods of the lands have delivered their land from my hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem from my hand?’”

When winnning a war of words you must realize the facts Rabshekah was sharing, it was true none of the other “gods” had defeated the “gods” of Assyria, but what Rabshekah didn’t know and what we must know is that Yahweh is not just one of the other “gods” He is the Creator of heaven and earth; He is the King of kings; He is the great I AM; He is Commander of angel armies; He is GOD alone! So, there is no competition for Him. When the “gods” of the nations fight Rabshakeh, he was winning, but he had never gone to war with YAHWEH, so his words were true, but they had not been tested with the God of Israel, who never loses a war He engages in. My friends, win the war against the intimidator by getting to know the God of all Creation. There is no comparison, Yahweh always wins, that is why we can trust Him.
