Kislev Speaks Prophetically

Have you heard the amplified voices declaring a shaking is coming? Have you wondered, when is it coming? Have you asked, what will it look like? Have you pondered how will it effect us? It is so easy to say a shaking is coming, not realizing all the questions people are asking about what is being said.

Voices that speak for God assume everyone understands our language, not realizing how many people smile and nod, read and scroll on to the next message on their feed. We as the church hear so much and see so little, we say amen, but don’t really let what was said sink deep inside of us.

Today is the first day of the Hebrew month called Kislev. There are many different calendars in the world, we have the Gregorian calendar, which is the one we use; there is the Mayan calendar; and the Hebrew calendar. The Hebrew calendar is the calendar spoken of in the Bible. Kislev is the 9th month after Passover. So, today on the Hebrew calendar is the first of Kislev.

I have not really dove deep into the Hebrew months, what they mean and how they are prophetically aligned with what God is doing on the earth. I listen to others, but I have not dug in myself. Well, today the Lord highlighted to me the month of Kislev and how today is the first day of this new month.

Haggai 2 says, “Consider now from this day forward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, from the day that the foundation of the LORD’S temple was laid—consider it: Is the seed still in the barn? As yet the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have not yielded fruit. But from this day I will bless you.’ ”

The Lord said to me, “Seeds have been sown, trees have been planted, but it has not yet rained, so no fruit has come forth. Until now. Consider, watch, for it is about to rain and I am going to bless my sowers who have sown but not seen a harvest yet. Yes this month of Kislev from the 24th day on, I will bless you.”

I am not one who makes stuff up just to tickle your ears or feed you candy prophesy. My friends, its about to rain and all those seeds in the ground are about to produce fruit. If you can’t believe, just consider, just watch, for many of you, you are not going to believe your eyes.

Haggai 2 speaks of the shaking and the blessing. This tells me, in this 9th month, this month of Kislev, this month of Hanukkah, it is going to rain and we are going to see miracles of the likes that will blow our minds. Just watch, just consider, for this is the Lord’s idea not mans.

  1. Yes, this is most def on my radar… I’m sensing very keenly this am after reading your post that the Lord is dovetailing things He’s showing the two of us right now…

Also, look back at my email to the crew on 10/25.

The twenty-fourth of the ninth month, Kislev, is Dec. 7th, which will be exactly 2 months since the Israeli/Hamas war started – or 61 days. You know how I am with numbers Lis… this is one of the ways the Lord leads me on the trails. I just can’t help thinking that He is up to something on this day – 24 Kislev/Dec 7th. See Isaiah 61. Also, like how He pointed you to that Battle of Kings Mountain in this nation as a type and symbol parallel to His calling on Israel, looking deeper at the twenty-fourth Kislev, its equivalent to our nation’s Dec 7th, what historic thing happened on Dec 7th here? Now, what’s really so interesting to me is the first thing that comes to mind (came to mine anyway right off the bat) is the horrific attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. HOWEVER, He’s calling His body to come up… to see the bigger picture He is unfolding.

We know the backstory to Haggai is the rebuilding the temple of God… The books of Ezra and Nehemiah capture the start of this, i.e., the physical building, which the returned exiles started, but due to opposition by surrounding rulers (Ezra 4) – prob invoked by God, and the people saying basically that it wasn’t the “right time” or the Lord’s timing for the building of the temple (Hag 1:2-4), rebuilding of the temple stopped. So, the Lord sent Haggai with messages for the people in quick succession, i.e., within August and December (our calendar) to jumpstart them again; the first one in verses 1 thru 11 being basically “look, you’ve made yourselves houses of wood (paneled), and let mine just go to ruin?! Therefore, that is why I’ve brought forth drought on the land, etc…” So this spurned the governor and high priest of the time to get a move on and kick the work back into progress (v 12 thru 15). But, the work lagged yet again, and the Lord sent Haggai again with the next message. This was on 21 Tishri our Oct 6. Eeks. It’s in verses 2:1-9, but here is where the Lord first speaks of “shaking” of the heaven, earth, the sea and dry land; and that He will shake all nations and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations (which I’m assuming is Israel honestly…) BUT, that’s the 2nd message, and we know what happened on Oct 6-7 in our time… and what is still going on.

Now, we get to verse 10 and He’s moved to the 24th day of the ninth month, Kislev, which as I mentioned before is our Dec 7th. The Lord is calling out and questioning the people thru the prophet Haggai their holiness and corresponding sinfulness, i.e., they (the priests, know the word of the law, but they were not relaying it to their own lives and the sinfulness or “uncleanness” there! He’s reminding them how He struck them with all these bad things in order to wake ‘em up and still they didn’t turn back to Him! So, He says through Haggai, even though you have produced no fruit (see Gal 5:22-23) from this day forward (24 Kislev / Dec 7), I will bless you. In my mind, this is one more wash and rinse cycle of the Lord with His people to wake them up to really SEE Him and return to Him because He said He would stand by His covenant with them even tho they spurn Him to anger and wrath occasionally. Verses 20 thru 23 (23 – prophetic), speak to the what and/or how the Lord will act out this blessing He promises. He’s talking about yet another shaking… again heaven and earth, but then see how He says “I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, I will destroy the strength of the Gentile kingdoms. I will overthrow the chariots and those who ride in them; the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.” Then He talks about making Zerubbabel like a signet ring b/c He has chosen him…

What I also find fascinating are the names. There is nothing lost here… In order, Haggai means festive, festival. The war started by the invasion of a festival. Zerabbabel means seed of Babylon (so what has been “pressed out” of Babylon) Shealtiel means I have asked God Judah means to praise – Let Him be Praised Joshua means Yah saves Jeshozadak means Yah is righteous

And, again – I point to Isaiah 61.

IDK on specifics Lis, but I’m anticipating something on Dec 7th. Praise God. I’ll prob write this up and send something out to the group just as another general share, but wanted to send to you first based on seeing your post on Kislev. This date and that month has been percolating in my mind since the war started and I was pointed to Haggai.

    Love you- Clu
