Possible Blueprint

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. This is the prayer that Jesus taught His disciples to pray. This is the most famous prayer in all of scripture. It has been preached on for centuries. Books have been written off of this one prayer. Thousands upon thousands around the world have said this prayer. In the realm of bowls in heaven being the prayers of the saints, I believe this bowl should have tipped a long time ago. What if it is not words we speak, a cry we send up, a decree we make, what if it is a model God wants to see established? Not a model prayer, but a model example of what God is doing? What if this popular prayer in Matthew 6 is the blueprint?

I was pondering the thought this morning about the difference between creation and the church. Creation is everything God created before He created man. Sun, moon, stars, trees, birds, fish, cattle, beasts, creeping things on the earth. Proverbs talks about the ant, the badger, the lion, the rooster; Psalms talk about the sun, the moon and the stars; Moses talked about bushes, trees, deserts and rivers. Then there are allegories about cows of Bashan and trees of Lebanon. Jesus even prayed for a man and said, what do you see and the man said, I see men walking around like trees. The word of God is riddled with comments about creation.

The difference between creation and the church is that creation is in submission to the Creator, the church is not. Creation lives in harmony, peace and order, no competition, no titles, no trying to be someone they are not, because they are submitted to the one who created them. Trees are not trying to be cows; birds aren’t trying to be bushes; you get the point. But the church is trying to be all things to all people and we are out of order. When there is a lack of order there is a lack of peace. Not everyone can sing, not everyone can speak well, not everyone can build. If we only did what we were created to do, everyone, like creation would be doing their role and we would have order, we would have peace, we would express beauty and the world would declare “O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens!” (Psalm 8:1). Then we would see Jesus’s prayer in Matthew 6 manifest, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. To manifest the blueprint we, the church must live in submission to God, just like creation does.

We Need A Reformation In The Church

The church doesn’t need another revival, we have been there done that and now our lives are no different than they were pre revival and some people’s live are even worst. This is not an opinion, this is first hand knowledge, as I was apart of a revival in which we went to church 4-5 days a week for 3-4 hours at a time. We worshiped for minimum of an hour, then had a minimum of an hour sermon, a 15 minute offering, and a minimum of an hour prayer time where people were radically touched by the power of God. I saw healings, heard testimonies of restored, revived and reconstructed marriages and families. I myself was radically changed in this revival. But I also know of many people who are still just sitting in church waiting for the fire to fall again; people who have literally walked away from God and are engaged in Eastern religions like reiki and yoga. The destruction of their lives is of a measure I cannot describe as I get calls of another marriage ending in divorce more often than I want to tell about; another person who is engaged in homosexual lifestyles and these were people in revival with me. They had hands raised, they were on the worship team, they were on the prayer floor with me, tears streaming down their face. That’s just what I saw in revival. That does not include all the salvations that happened in Brownsville or the healings that happened in Toronto. With all this manifest power of God where is the transformed lives?

The church does not need another revival, we need a reformation of the likes most are not ready for. Religion will resist this reformation as vehemently as they resisted the apostle Pauls message of Christ in you the hope of glory. Religion knows what they are doing is not changing lives, but they love functioning in their dysfunction so they just keep doing what they are doing and people just keep funding the same same but different Sunday situation hoping, wishing, maybe something will change. We need a reformation; we need a 95 thesis; we need an Acts 2 outpouring, we need reformers, not revivalists; we need maturity not church growth; we need discipleship not more microphones. Hebrews 5:8 says, “Though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.”

What is coming next for the church is going to grow us up, mature us, bring us back to the Bible and it will be painful at times. If you haven’t been to the gym in a long time, when you go back it hurts, but if you stay with it it makes you stronger, healthier and more fit for the Master’s use. We need a church reformation, so we can mature, obey and live the way Yahweh has intended for us to do. We will never change national culture until church culture changes, for we have been given authority over the earth and honestly it doesn’t look good at all and its not the fault of politics, it is the fault of the church. We must have a reformation!

What God Is Doing

I woke up hearing two very clear statements this morning from the Holy Spirit. First I heard, “I am separating the holy from the profane.” This is a direct quote from Ezekiel 44:23. Then I heard “Humpty dumpty had a great fall.” This of course is an old English nursery rhyme. These two phrases whether to be heard as two distinct and different statements or whether they are to be heard together, I am not making a statement about, but they both have great depth to them and practical applications for right now.

The church has a hard time with the idea of separation, for we have been so dipped in humanism, we think it is not loving to even consider the idea of God seperating. Separation is deeply rooted biblically in both the Old and the New Testament. In the OT the talk of the seperation is between the righteous and the wicked, the foolish and the wise, it is riddled throughout the Psalms, Proverbs and the Prophets. In the NT the imagery of sheep and goats; wheat and chaff; moral and immoral; are just a few of the references that make it clear, seperation is a biblical narrative.

The Holy Spirit said, “I AM seperating the holy from the profane.” This is what God is doing, this is not some person’s idea, this is God letting us know what He is doing. We may not like what God is doing, we may not agree with God is doing, but it does not change what God is doing. My suggestion is, we get in alignment with God, for He sees things we cannot see; hears things we cannot hear; and knows things we do not know, so when He tells us what He is doing, it is so we will not be caught off guard when what He is doing manifests.

Now for Humpty Dumpty, I know we have heard of a few names we know who have fallen, but what is interesting is that just as Humpty Dumpty fell, the first response was to put him back together again. We are so quick to put something that falls back together again, not even asking the Lord what brought about the fall. I have been told to call for the fall of the iron and clay kingdom once and for all (Daniel 2). When it falls I don’t want it put back together again, so we need to be extremely discerning in this time, because as Humpty Dumpty falls, we must not put him back together again or we will end up with the same mess we are currently in. Our job is to agree with God.

Nothing To Fear

We have two options at all times. In these times of war, we have two options again. Our options are to succumb to the spirits of the air that are seeking to intimidate, exterminate and dictate with violence, death and coercion; or we can be atmosphere shifters who shoot prayer missiles into the atmosphere and take down the fiery darts of the enemy over Israel and other nations of the world. The choice is ours.

We can spend our time talking about what the terrorists are planning, doing or trying to do and live in fear, or we can be proactive and remember Psalm 91 which says, “I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress;

My God, in Him I will trust. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.” Or Psalm 5:12 which states, “For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous;

With favor You will surround him as with a shield.”

Remember who is inside of you. Jesus Christ sent the Holy Spirit to dwell with us as a promised guarantee that He will not leave us nor forsake us. The prophetic word is our weapon, America shall be saved. Israel shall never be removed from their land again. Friends, we are at war, Jane Hammon said, tell the church this is your call to arms. Israel is united as one people against their enemy. They are all trained for war, men and women, so when war happens, they are ready to fight as one nation together with the Lord as their shield, their sword and their fortress.

There is nothing to fear, Lord Sabbaoth, God of Angel Armies is in this war, He will not be defeated, the enemy will be thwarted. Stop fearing the terrorist as though evil triumphs over the Righteous One. Evil may flex but it will fall, fear not. Send up the word of God in prayer, remember favor is your shield, put on the whole armor of God and fight with Israel against this anti-Christ; anti-God spirit; and never forget Psalm 2, the nations rage, the people plot, but the Lord sits in heaven and laughs. Yahweh, our God is not moved and neither should we be. Our commander of heavenly hosts has never lost a battle and He will win this war! Pray friends, pray for Israel and pray for your nation. The anti-Christ spirit is no respecter or people or boundaries.

Up Up And Away

The Lord showed me years ago, by the spirit of revelation, that the narrow door, the narrow gate, the narrow way was the cross, which is the entrance into the kingdom. Jesus said in Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” This means the cross is a gate, a door, a place of entry. When you go through the cross, baptized in the blood for the forgiveness of your sins, you are coming through the narrow gate, but once you come through the gate, through the door, through the cross, everything changes.

Once in the kingdom, the kingdom, the Lord showed me that wide open spaces are holy places. He likened it to Narnia’s Wardrobe, when they went through those double doors into the wardrobe, they entered into a world they never knew existed. It was wide open spaces, full of beauty and wonder. Now this morning, I am reading Ezekiel 41 in the Passion Translation and it says, “The rooms for the priests were right up the temple walls. The width of the side rooms increased, floor by floor, because the width of the temple increased as it got higher, from the lower level through the middle level to the top level.”

Immediately the Holy Spirit says to me, the call to come up here in Revelation 4 is a call to come up into wide open spaces. The narrower sections are down low, the more spacious places are up higher. The more you ascend, the more you release, the more you surrender the more spacious your life gets, not more narrow. The Lord is inviting us to cast off things on the narrow level so we can ascend with Him through the doors into higher levels. Things get more spacious the more you ascend. We are invited to come up here, but so many settle for the narrow, small life of the down here, not realizing the rooms get wider the higher up we go. Ascend my friends, there is so much more to see, hear, experience and comprehend. Up, up, up we go!!!!

Rivers Coming Out Of You

Only the Bible can have many authors, many books, compiled into one book and have a thematic message that runs from Genesis to Revelation, from Moses to John with many other authors, writers, scribes in between. The literary make up of the word of God is the design of God that causes me daily to stand in awe of His word, His spirit, His power. I am undone!

This morning the Lord led me to read Genesis 1 and 2, which then led me to John 7. The enemy wants us to think the Old Covenant is not relevant to our modern Christianity, but the truth is, every author of the New Covenant, Jesus included, used the Old Covenant scriptures as their basis to write the New Covenant. Everything in the New Covenant can be found in the Old Covenant, we just haven’t discovered them all yet.

John 7:38 says, “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” Other translations say, “Out of your belly will flow rivers of living water. I heard someone say the other day, sound travels faster and further on water. I was stunned by this statement, because in Genesis 1 it says, Yahweh hovered over the waters and the first thing He did was speak. Oh the power of the voice of God to travel over the waters and create order out of chaos, to speak light into darkness. Everything that is said about us, God did Himself first.

Now back to what is coming out of the belly, the heart of believers. Genesis 2 tells us there was one river in the garden of Eden that broke off into four rivers, those four rivers have four names, four purposes. The first is Pishon which means, Overlowing Increase; the second is Gibson which means, Gushing Geyser or To Give Birth; the third is Tigris which means, Swift Flowing; and the fourth is Euphrates which means, Fruitfulness. Friends, these are the four rivers that are to flow out of your belly as a believer.

Everywhere we go, we are to release Increase, Gushing, Swift Flowing and Fruitfulness. We are distributors of abundance that waters the gardens of everyone we meet and activates the rivers inside of them so they can become distributors. These four rivers are all from the River of God, He is the source, He is the mouth of these rivers. This is not self-effort this is Spirit flow. The only thing stopping these river from flowing out of you is you, your self-protection, your self-preservation. You have been given access to abundance, now let the river of God in you come out of you. The nations are thirsty and you have rivers in you!

We Are The Inheritance

Inheritance, that word invokes the idea of being given something good. If you have ever been given an inheritance you know it is a blessing someone has left behind for you to receive. The word means you are about to receive something really good. Some people know what their inheritance is, others do not. Some people are surprised in a good way by their inheritance and others are disappointed. But an inheritance is ear marked for you to receive.

Praying Psalm 2 this morning, the Holy Spirit began to share with me about inheritance and this is what the psalmist said, “You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession.” This is the Father in heaven speaking to His Son Jesus the Christ who came to earth as a man, the Father said, ask of me and I will give the nations as your inheritance. Nations are people, a whole lot of people and a lot of different kinds, cultures of people. This was and is Jesus’ inheritance. He has received this inheritance from His Father.

He has inherited us. The question is, what kind of inheritance are we to Him? An inheritance before it is received is highly anticipated as something really good. You and I were created in the image of God according to Genesis 1 and God said about us, it is very good. We were created as something very good for creation. The question is, are we living a a very good inheritance for Jesus? Are we spending time with Him? Are we obeying His voice? Are we obeying His commands? I was thinking this morning, if the nations are His inheritance then His inheritance is vey good, but are we living a life that is very good in His eyes, so He can enjoy us as His inheritance? We are His inheritance, may we not forget who we are and live accordingly. We were created as very good!!!!

Real Treasures

Living in a first world country affords us things that those living in third world countries do not have. From basic needs like food, water, and clothes, in abundance. But what third world countries have that first world countries lack is community. I used to go to Mexico every summer on a mission trip with the youth group I was leading in Seattle, WA. I would take a group of youth down there to build houses with Habitat for Humanity every summer. We were going to provide shelter for a family, but we gained more than we gave because they gave us something we did not have, which was authentic community.

I have lived and traveled to many countries around the world. Each country carries a culture that is valuable to them and as I leaned into their culture, whether poorer cultures like in Bangkok, Thailand or richer cultures like Singapore, I discovered that money does not make people happy. In Singapore they are a very prosperous island, with great transportation, a very clean environment, but people were so busy spending time making money they did not enjoy life. Then in Bangkok, where there were street beggars on every corner, and we rode around in TuK Tuk’s for our taxi, the people smiled, laughed, enjoyed the little they had.

Proverbs 1:19 says, “So are the ways of everyone who is greedy for gain;

It takes away the life of its owners.” Having seen people who have little and having seen people who have way too much, I have noticed how true this proverb by Solomon is. Greed for gain takes away the life of its owners. But not only the greed for it, the actual stuff takes away the life of its owners. My dad said to me one time, the more stuff you have the more time it takes to maintain the stuff. Less is more Lisa. He is so right, we miss out on community and enjoying life, when we are greedy for gain. My friends, if you want to live, if you want to enjoy life, if you want to know community, get rid of some stuff and prioritize people, you will be glad you did. People are the true treasure of life all over the world.
