Rivers of Rescue

While in prayer the other day the Lord showed me rivers of resources flowing out of people’s bellies, never fearing lack, always operating from abundance. Now today, I am following the lead of Psalm 6 in my prayer time and the psalmist says, “I am weary with my sighing; Every night I make my bed swim, I dissolve my couch with my tears. My eye has wasted away with grief; It has become old because of all my adversaries. Depart from me, all you who do iniquity, For the LORD has heard the voice of my weeping.” Immediately the Holy Spirit says, “Rivers of rescue are rushing in on the voices of weeping.”

When those words landed in my spirit, I saw a picture of tears flowing like a river and the river of weeping was met by the river of rescue God is releasing into the earth realm. The two rivers collided and the words, “Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning” flooded the atmosphere. I felt the heart of God for those who have wept in their cars when no one knew it; for those who cried theselves to sleep and drenched their pillows when no one saw; for those who had tears falling down their face as their own expression for the hurt they were feeling; and even for those whose eyes watered but tears never fell. The Lord saw them all, He heard the sound of weeping in your tears and He is releasing a river of rescue.

The final thing I heard was Exodus 2, the birth story of Moses. The Holy Spirit said, “Moses was put in a basket and placed in a river of rescue that brought him to a palace and made him a national deliverer. His mom and dad wept as they placed him in that basket in that river, but what they didn’t know is that it was a river of rescue for him and that he would become the deliverer of a nation. Trust the rivers of rescue, they are bringing about a great deliverance.”

Friends our voices of weeping have merged with a river of rescue and the Lord has seen every tear, heard ever wail, moan, groan and pain. You thought it was just you crying alone, but God saw you, heard you and bottled up every tear and now is pouring out a river of rescue toward you. Get ready for joy is coming in the morning!!!!

A Season To Apprehend

Various weather patterns help us appreciate different seasons. We have winter clothes and summer clothes. Some people love the flowers that bloom in the spring, while other love to watch the leaves drop to the ground in the fall. Knowing what season we are in is important, for if you wear shorts in the winter or hoodies in the summer people look at you like you are out of season. When it comes to weather, Jesus said we know how to identity the times. ““When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, ‘A shower is coming,’ and so it turns out. And when you see a south wind blowing, you say, ‘It will be a hot day,’ and it turns out that way. You hypocrites! You know how to analyze the appearance of the earth and the sky, but why do you not analyze this present time?” (Luke 12:54-56)

The blessing of life in the Bible is that they were trained to truly understand the skies. The magi knew the star in the east meant a king was born. Elijah knew the cloud the size of a man’s hand meant the abundance of rain. They knew when a new month was beginning based on the phase of the moon. Biblical people were intelligent people. In our culture there are so many voices saying so many things, we are not sure if it is winter or summer, spring or fall. We don’t know what to believe, let alone what to wear as so many “experts” or “prophets” have claimed this or that, but it ever came true. It is no wonder we read so much but believe so little.

With all that said, what season are we in, spiritually? Circumstances are trying to tell us what season we are in, but they are not accurate indicators. Only the voice of God, clearly heard, can tell us what season we are in. I am only sharing with you what season I am hearing I am in and I believe some of you are in, but I understand this may not be your season, so ask the Lord, is this my season, but what I am hearing is, Philippians 3:12, we are in a season of apprehending. Paul said, “I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.” We are in a season of apprehending the promises, the prophetic words, the presence of God like we have not been in. To apprehend means to seize; to possess; to come upon; to overtake; to make as our own. The days of hearing more than we are seeing has given way to apprehending what we have been promised. The season has change.

Net At Work

During a prayer call early this morning the Holy Spirit spoke to me and showed me a demonic “network” over a city and said, “This is a network of lies over the city. This network is releasing anxiety, fear, depression, poverty, sickness, violence, fatherlessness, and suicide. But I am transforming this network into a “net at work” for the gathering of people in the city into the presence, power and glory of God.” Immediately I heard the story of when Jesus told Peter to let down his net for a catch. “And when he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch. And Simon answered, Master, we toiled all night and took nothing! But at your word I will let down the nets. And when they had done this, they enclosed a large number of fish, and their nets were breaking” (Luke 5:4-6).

I see this network of lies not just over one city but over many cities around the world. This demonic network has produced city wide challenges, city wide problems and city wide pain. But the Lord Himself is transforming the demonic network which has produced bad fruit in people’s lives into a net that is at work to gather people into His very presence. The net at work is going to bring healing, deliverance, prosperity, reconciliation, restoration and unity.

I see the cloud of God’s glory resting on cities as people are being gathered together, not to go to a church service, but to enter into the presence of God, the power of God, the glory of God. Healing will break out on streets, in offices, in everyday locations. This will be the Lord’s doing and it will be marvelous in our eyes. Jesus walked along the road and healed a blind man; Peter and John were going to temple when a man paralyzed from birth was told to get up and walk; the fire of God fell in an upper room and people were given the gift of tongues.

I see everyday situations turning into altars, to sanctuaries, to places where the power and presence of God descends and does miracles. We are about to become so supernaturally natural that we are naturally supernatural. Everyone can be saved, everyone can heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, everyone who believes Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ. Get ready for the everyone, everyday, everywhere move of God. The net is at work!!!!

The Devil Is A Liar

In the Old Testament the enemies of Israel were visible; their warfare was with a physical enemy; the combat was earthly, identifiable with the eyes and even fought with physical weapons. David saw Goliath and defeated him with a literal stone and slingshot; Samson pushed against actual pillars and brought down a temple which killed many Philistines; and Jael actually put a tent peg through the head of Sisera while he slept in her tent. Enemies you can see may seem more easily defeatable, but they are not any less intimidating. Remember Nehemiah and the words spoken by Sanballat and Tobiah intimidating the workers on the wall around Jerusalem? Their words paralyzed the people and one decree from the king stopped the work they were doing.

In the New Testament, the apostle Paul says in Ephesians 6, our battle is not physical, but spiritual. We have moved from ground warfare, hand to hand combat, from a physical enemy we can see, to a spiritual enemy we hear. Voices seek to initimadate, lies seek to paralyze, and words seek to torment. The rise in mental illness in our nation is due to the onslaught of voices people are hearing, believing and obeying. We are in psychological warfare on a daily basis. Is it any wonder Joyce Meyers book Battlefield of the Mind was so popular?

Praying Psalm 3 this morning the psalmist said, “O LORD, how my adversaries have increased! Many are rising up against me. Many are saying of my soul, There is no deliverance for him in God.” The Holy Spirit said to me, “Adversaries are vapors without substance what waft in but are easily rebuked and resisted. If you don’t resist and rebuke adversarial vapors, they will rest and remain in your thoughts.” Immediately I heard the verse, “Resist the devil and he will flee from you!”

Friends, we have been given authority to resist and rebuke the lies of the enemy. They are only vapors, they are easily rebuked and resisted, but we must stop entertaining them; echoing them; and believing them. The adversary told the psalmist, there is no deliverance for him in God. That is a lie. What is the adversary that is increasing and arising telling you? Write it down, read it, look at it, it is not true, it is a vapor you are to resist and rebuke. The warfare is real, the vapors are wafting in, but we must rebuke and resist them for he is the father of lies, so nothing he says will come to pass. Repent of letting the lies of the adversaries rest and remain in your thoughts. We have a Savior and His name is salvation, Jesus!!!!

Being Kicked Out

Can you see what God is doing among the nations? Can you hear what God is doing in the land? I know the news media is trying to get you to believe we are going back into a 2020 2.0, but puppets are not God, they are just speaking what their masters are telling them to say in order to obtain their pay. Remember the Wizard of Oz? How the Oz was projected on a screen as being larger than life, even intimidating? Can you picture the scene upon them entering emerald city? But one little dog named Toto grabbed a hold of the curtain in which the Oz was hiding behind and exposed a small man, who projected himself as larger than life.

Friends, this is how Satan works. Jesus defeated the devil, not on the cross, but while He was in the grave. Yes when He died He went and took back the keys to death and Hades, no longer would Satan have the power to destroy a life, for the author of life was in the underworld known as Hades, fully alive as God. Oh if only we had a revelation of what happened during those three quiet days on earth. I can almost hear the fear in Hades, as they thought they were victorious, only to find out He was right there in their headquarters. The devil is like Oz, he projects a big image, but is a small man who has no power, no authority, no keys.

When Jesus was on earth it says in Luke 4, “There was a man possessed by the spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out with a loud voice. But Jesus rebuked him, saying, Be quiet and come out of him! And when the demon had thrown him down in the midst of the people, he came out of him without doing him any harm.” Demons like to make a scene upon departure. Can you hear the demons leaving our country? Can you see the enemy on the run? I know the devil is making a scene, kicking up dust, tearing down bridges and trying to create fear with another disease, but friends, listen closely for it is the sound of the enemy going out not coming in. He is going to be cast out of the nations and without doing us any harm. His reign of terror is over, God’s rule of love has begun!!!!

Witherless Leaves and Seasonal Fruit

One of my favorite things to do is pray the Psalms. The rich revelation that is released is like honey dripping from the comb. Oh the sweetness of God’s word, there is no taste I crave more! Today, Psalm 1 led me in prayer and where it took me brought great delight to my soul. Join me this morning on a prayer journey in Psalm 1.

Two people are described in this Psalm, one is blessed and the other is wicked. The ways these people walk, talk, act are identified so clearly, it is not hard to know which one we are. The blessed man is planted by streams of water, delighting and meditating day and night on God’s words; bearing fruit in season. The wicked on the other hand is sinning, scoffing and speaking counsel that does not benefit the hearer. The Bible say, “The wicked are like chaff which the wind drives away.” The righteous is strong, stable, steady, but the wicked is like chaff ready to be blown away. The demarcation could not be more obvious.

Two things struck me today, one was how the wind can so easily blow away the chaff. If we don’t like the wickedness we see, all we have to do is call for the east wind to blow and scatter the wicked from our land; or call for the four winds to blow and remove the wicked from our nation. Wind is the answer for the wicked to be removed. The second thing was how the righteous bear seasonal fruit. I am helping a friend who is a private chef and I am learning a lot about food. Just the other day we were looking for pomegranates and she said, it is not in season, that is why it is hard to find.

Fruits have seasons and when we know what fruit is in season, we will know where to find our harvest for that season of our life. Friends, if you are struggling to find the fruit for your season, maybe it is because that fruit is not in season, but there is one that is. Stop trying to find pomegranates in blueberry season. You may have to change the recipe a bit, but you will not have to strive to find something that is not in season, when there is an abundance of fruit for this season if you know what you are looking for.

One final word from this Psalm, even though not all fruit is in season all year long, we do have leaves that do not wither if we remain planted by streams of water and Revelation 22 says those leaves we have are for the healing of the nations. What a mighty God we serve, who knows what season fruit we are being given for food and for never letting our leaves wither for He is always about the healing of nations.
