There is a mighty army that has been assembled by the presence of God. An army of both men and women; young and old; angelic and human; from every nation. This host has been assembled and divided into two camps. It is called the dance of the Mahanaim as noted in Genesis 32:2 and Song of Solomon 6:13. The name Mahanaim means double camp; two camps; it is two deployments of hosts. God has gathered the angelic and earthly hosts together for such a time as this.
This mixture of human and divine is the body of Christ, for we are naturally supernatural and supernaturally nature. The head of this body is divine, it is the risen Christ, but it is also human, it is people. It is heaven and earth in one new man, made up of Jews and Gentiles. The body of Christ is the Mahanaim and we have been gathered together to remove the enemy from our reality. This is not the job of one person, or of God alone, this is a partnership between divinity and humanity. We need both the physical and the spiritual in partnership for our enemy is a hybrid being who is being cast out of the earth realm right now.
One camp is being sent to defeat the enemy on the ground and in the air, another camp is being called to stay at home and prepare to divide the spoil. There are two places in scripture I know of where the army was divided. One is with David at Ziklag, some where too tired to keep pursuing, so they remained at home, the other is in Psalm 68, which says, “The Lord gives the command; The women who proclaim the good tidings are a great host: Kings of armies flee, they flee, And she who remains at home will divide the spoil!” Whether at home or on the field, both camps/hosts are needed. Both jobs are necessary. Friends, whether you have been on the field fighting or staying at home preparing, we are one host two camps and we are seeing the dance of the Mahanaim as the dances dance upon injustice.
God is arising, the enemy is fleeing and we are living history that will be talked about for many years to come. What a great time to be alive.
