Adventures with God begin without having any assumptions about what He is saying. Last night I heard over and over again the word reprobate. I am reading the book of Romans right now, so hearing that word, I said in my sleep state, “got it.” I kept hearing it, like don’t forget this, so when I finally woke up, I looked up the word and it is found in the KJV in Romans 1:28 and is tied to a reprobate mind. But when I looked up the root of the word, I knew God was not talking about a reprobate mind sexually, but about being reprobate financially. Let me explain.
The word reprobate comes from the root word to be acceptable, approved, tried and in Strongs Concordance is defined as having do with coins or money. Well this changes everything, it is not about being reprobate sexually, but about reprobate money. The Greek word for acceptable, tried, proven is identified clearly by Donald Barnhouse “In the ancient world there was no banking system as we know it today, and no paper money. All money was made from metal, heated until liquid, poured into moulds and allowed to cool. When the coins were cooled, it was necessary to smooth off the uneven edges. The coins were comparatively soft and of course many people shaved them closely. In one century, more than eighty laws were passed in Athens, to stop the practice of shaving down the coins then in circulation. But some money changers were men of integrity, who would accept no counterfeit money. They were men of honour who put only genuine full weighted money into circulation. Such men were called “dokimos” or “approved”
The Lord keeps pointing me to the fall of Babylon especially the financial system. This word reprobate leads to Daniel 5 where the handwriting on the wall says, “Mene Mene, Tekel, Upharsain” you have been weighed in the balance and found wanting. I was sent to Jekyll Island, GA in August 2021 by the Lord to abort what was conceived there. What was conceived there was the Federal Reserve Bank, the Lord said, Decree Daniel 5. Now last night and other days this week the Lord has been speaking to me about the financial fall of Babylon. Now we know why Jesus turned over the tables in the temple. Friends, when Babylon falls we will all feel the shaking, but it is for the making of a people who have been tried, tested, approved to rise and lead us into a building project that will bless nations. This is all really good news.
