Isaiah 25 Roadmap Fourth Stop

Are you ready for stop number four on our Isaiah 25 map for 2025?

I have always been a lover of the word of God. People may lie to us, but the word of God is always telling the truth, even truth that can be at times hard to hear. I remember when I first got saved, I learned very quickly, that when my life did not align with the word of God, I was the one who was out of alignment not the word.

People try to make the word of God fit their opinions, idealogies, or even lifestyles, but the word is the truth and it will not bend, break or submit to us, for it is an eternal word, that has been tested over and over again. The word of God is truth, we are out of alignment, not the word. When we allow the word to course correct us, we find ourselves operating by design.

Stop four on our map of Isaiah 25 brings us to the mountain of the Lord. On this mountain many things are happening. Mountains in scripture represent government, so the mountain of the Lord is the government of God. Isaiah reveals to us what God’s government looks like.

Isaiah 25:6-10 “The Lord Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies, will host a rich feast on this mountain for all peoples— a feast with plenty of meat and well-aged wine, with an abundance of food and the finest of wine. And on this mountain, he will destroy the shroud wrapped around all the people, the veil spread over all nations. It is the gloom of death! He will swallow it up in victory forever! And God, Lord Yahweh, will wipe away every tear from every face. He will remove every trace of disgrace that his people have suffered throughout the world, for the Lord Yahweh has promised it! In that day they will say, “Behold! This is our God! We’ve waited for him, and he saved us! This one, the Lord Yahweh—he is worth the wait! We will keep shouting with joy as we find our bliss in his salvation-kiss!” The mighty, gracious hand of the Lord Yahweh will rest upon this mountain.”

The temptation to make this a future or heavenly reality is what most do, but I would propose to you, Jesus told us to occupy until He comes, not go to the sweet by and by. This mountain stop will become a reality on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6, the Lord’s Prayer). This government of God gets built inside of us and then gets built around us. When you are operating from the mountain of the Lord, there is a joy you can’t explain, a peace that is palpable and a love that is undeniable.

Welcome to the mountain of the Lord, this is our fourth stop.
