Blade Change Needed

The other day I was walking into a location to meet a friend for coffee and I saw a man cutting cinder blocks with a power saw. I walked by, took notice and thought, I had never saw anything like that before. With ease he was using this saw blade to cut through those cement blocks. This morning in prayer the Lord said, “It is time to change the blade”.

Christianity and prayer movements have been using one blade called breakthrough, but God is changing the blade to saw through. Some strongholds don’t break, they don’t bend, they don’t burn, some strongholds must be sawed through. In prayer this morning the Lord showed me rebar in the spirit as a stronghold.

Rebar is short for reinforcement bar or reinforcing bar, known when massed as reinforcing steel or steel reinforcement; is a tension device added to concrete to form reinforced concrete and reinforced masonry structures to strengthen and aid the concrete under tension.

The strongholds God is cutting down demands a blade that can cut through rebar and cement. What I saw in the spirit was rebar that was cemented in people’s soul which went back to childhood. The rebar is the stronghold that has been holding the lie in place for many many years.

The blade must change in prayer if we are going to be successful at cutting through the rebar and the cement in order to set people free from their strongholds of lies they can’t stop believing.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 “For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete.”

God is giving us a new blade to use in prayer so we can saw through the rebar which is a stronghold and the cement which is holding the rebar in place, so we can be set free from the stronghold of lies that are hindering us from the freedom Christ has come to give us. It’s time to change the blade we use in prayer.
