Back To Go Forward

On Saturday while in Florence Alabama, Chuck Pierce said, “the Lord will send you back to some places in order to re-align that location so that you can move forward into your new assignment.“ I knew I was coming to Kansas City on Wednesday and those words hit me hard wondering what was God going to realign that may be out of alignment.

Yesterday I had a realigning moment with a good friend of mine, and as soon as the realignment happened, the spirit of wisdom, revelation, and understanding flowed freely. When there is anything that is out of alignment, we cannot hear clearly what is being said. It was a powerful dinner in which realignment happened for a future assignment.

This morning while reading Genesis 28, it says, “Jacob left Beersheba and went toward Haran. And he came to a certain place and stayed there that night, because the sun had set. Taking one of the stones of the place, he put it under his head and lay down in that place to sleep. And he dreamed, and behold, there was a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven. And behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it! And behold, the LORD stood above it and said, “I am the LORD, the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac.”

Haran is where Abraham left in order to follow the Lord into his promised land, called Canaan of which his descendants would occupy and inherit. The fact that the Lord lead Jacob, Abraham‘s grandson back to that location for a realignment in order to step into a future assignment was not missed in my reading this morning. God spoke to Jacob exactly what he spoke to Abraham. It was a moment of realignment for the assignment and it came through a dream.

The other point of notice in this story is that there is a stone that Jacob laid his head on and a declaration from Jacob that this is the gate of heaven. This is where Jesus got the words that he spoke over Peter who he called rock, When he said in Matthew 16:18 “and upon this rock, I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” Abraham Jacob/Israel and Jesus’ words to Peter all come into alignment at this moment for a future assignment of which we are fulfilling.

If the Lord invites you to circle back to a location for the sake of realignment, it is for a future assignment. We may not have understood what was out of alignment in a past location, but it must come into alignment in order for us to enter into the new assignment that is upon us. I am so grateful to be back in a past location for the sake of realignment for a future destination. He’s inviting us back so that we can go forward in victory. It takes humility, but it’s because we’re in a building age. We must be aligned correctly. Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org

Unacceptable Change

In church on Sunday we were declaring the Lord as holy. We sang those words over and over again, holy, holy, holy, the Lord is holy. As we were singing the Lord showed me what it means that He is holy. He said, “Holy means transparent, without darkness, without wickedness, no sin, see through, nothing hidden.” He then said to me, “Did I not say you are to be holy as I am holy?”

I stood there in worship stunned, thinking we have been taught we cannot be holy for it means we are to be without sin and we have been so indoctrinated that we are sinners we cannot even fathom being holy. Yet, the Lord says, we are to be holy as He is holy. We are to be transparent as He is transparent; we are to be forgiving as He is forgiving; we are to be without darkness as He is all Light.

He would not tell us to be something that was impossible for us to be, but to be holy as He is holy takes humility. If we are not humble we cannot be holy. Holiness is not the absence of sin, it is the immediate confession of it to God and to each other so we can be free, forgiven and holy as He is holy. (1 John 1:9)

I am concerned we have become too comfortable with sin, darkness, unforgiveness, jealousy, bitterness, anger, perversion, gossip, hatred, adultery, idolatry and division, that we just accept it as the way it is. No this is not the way it is, nor is it the way it should be. Humanism has taught us to blame others, accuse others, as though humanism is God. Humanism is self-protection, not God’s direction. We must repent for being humanistic.

Malachi 3 says, “I the LORD do not change!” We find great security in this as we should, but we are also to not change, for the next verses speak about how the people changed their mind about God and following Him. We love that God does not change but we are okay with us changing how we treat others. This is hypocrisy and not acceptable in the kingdom of God. We must be holy as He is holy. No other standard is biblical, nor is it acceptable to the Lord. Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org

The Kiss That Awakens A Nation

Seeing all the vigils held for Charlie Kirk, noticing the thousands upon thousands of people world wide gathering to remember a man known for a love for Jesus and a love for his nation is powerful. Hearing the words of his wife speak with such power and authority, passion and conviction, it is truly amazing what one life has ignited in the nations.

Pondering the things I have been seeing and hearing, the Lord spoke to me and said, “Sleeping beauty is what I call My people and I kissed her with the death of Charlie Kirk. What you are seeing now is the stretch as she is waking up. Next she will sit up and then she will stand up. The great awakening has begun.”

With these words, I tied them to the words I saw in a dream, Once Upon A Time…and the Lord is clearly wooing us awake, not shaking us, not sounding an alarm, but kissing us awake and people are waking up. People are stretching and it is visible around the world.

Romans 13:11-12 says, “You know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. The night is far gone; the day is at hand.” Jesus’ name is salvation, so Jesus is nearer to the nations now than when we first believed. The veil is being removed, eyes are opening, hearts are responding, an awakening that only God can do as He kisses His sleeping beauty.

Friends, no man can take credit for what God is doing, no ministry can say it started with us, no one other than God gets the glory for this story that has been written and is being written in now time. We are living what may sound like a fairy tale, but it is a present reality that cannot be denied. Everything is getting better and sleeping beauty is not only awake, she is stretching.

Habbukuk 1:5 “Look among the nations, and see; wonder and be astounded. For I am doing a work in your days that you would not believe if told.” Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org

Spirit of Rebekah

The geyser is smoking, the volcano is rumbling, the rivers are rising, the waves are building, the signs of the times which were once invisible have become more visible this week. It is not anger, it is passion; it is not emotion, it is resolve. This cannot be carried in our soul, this must be carried in our spirit says Dutch Sheets. Emotions will bury us, the Spirit of God will carry us. We are in a not by power, nor by might, but by My Spirit says the Lord moment.

Awakening went from a snore to a roar; from a thought to boots on the ground; from a great idea to a no one can stop what is coming move of God says, Chuck Pierce. This is not some one church revival, once ministry move of God, one platform, one person situation. We are seeing the rising of an everyone, everywhere, everyday manifestation of what God has planned for the rebuilding of the nations.

Tobias and Sanballat will raise their ugly voices to divide, discourage or dismantle what God is building, but their voices are weak, powerless and ineffective against the roar of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. One voice has become many voices, partnering with God’s voice and the sound will not stop for decades to come. Arise and build says the Lord! Arise and build. Build up people, build up cities, build, build, build.

There is a call for the Rebekah’s to arise. Rebekah had a go above and beyond attitude as seen in Genesis 24 “When Rebekah arrived, her jug on her shoulder. She went to the spring and drew water and I said, ‘Please, can I have a drink?’ She didn’t hesitate. She held out her jug and said, ‘Drink; and when you’re finished I’ll also water your camels.” This is not a gender, but a spirit of Rebekah.

Reformation is work, reformation needs us all, reformation of a nation(s) means we must get ready to put our hand to the blow and not look back. Don’t let the voices of the divisive stop your work, keep building, keep speaking, keep going, we are the awakening. Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org

It Might Feel Like a Fairy Tale

When I was growing up we were taught to forgive and forget; but today they are taught to forgive but never forget. The Bible says, when we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9) and the Bible says, God casts our sins as far as the east is from the west. Do you believe God keeps a memory of what we have done wrong? Is He the one who reminds you of your past or is it the accuser that keeps brining up your history?

I woke up yesterday morning to a vision of a black background with hot pink writing that said, “Once upon a time!” I had no idea what that meant, but I knew what I saw. As I did some research on what this could mean, I learned it means, the start of a new chapter, a new beginning. Even the colors convey a message saying, God’s love and creativity are breaking into mystery.

Fairy tales are where the words once upon a time come from and fairy tales are about hidden identities (Cinderella); curses broken; redemption; and true love prevailing. With these words connected to these central themes and those colors communicating a truth, I pondered all day what it could mean.

Then last night, I listened to Erika Kirk and heard a woman who in the words of my friend, activated a nation with passion, love and commitment to a move of God of the likes we did not see coming through where it is coming through. Watching the news and hearing words like prophetic, Jesus Christ, salvation for a nation, and forgiveness. It was powerful.

Now this morning I am putting it all together with the Lord and He says, “Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it?” (Isaiah 43:18-19) If you are reliving all the mistakes of your past or the mistakes of others in the past, you are missing what God is doing right now. We are in a Once Upon A Time moment. Let it go and lets go!

Obedience Is Needed

The fear of the Lord is a subject that has been pondered, discussed and considered from so many different directions. John Bevere wrote a whole book on the subject, to help us understand what God is saying with the five simple words the fear of the Lord.

Reading Genesis 22, the Holy Spirit highlighted to me that when Abraham was willing to sacrifice his promised son, Isaac, on the altar, the angel stopped him and said, “Now I know you fear God.” Here we get the words, the fear of the Lord, but it is not until we continue on in the story that we find what the fear of God is.

Genesis 22:17-18 says, “Indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies. In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.” Blessings followed the fear of the Lord, which is identified as obedience to the voice of God.

I bring this up, because the call to the fear of the Lord is packed with resources for those who are willing to obey the voice of God. Our obedience to the word of God and the voice of God unlocks untold treasures. When people say, we need the fear of the Lord back in the church, I am not sure what they are saying, but God is saying, “I want my people to obey my voice and My word.”

Friends, don’t let pop psychology, life coaching, or a counseling culture tell you what the voice of God is saying, for all of that is self-serving. Obedience to the voice of God is death to self for the flesh does not want to forgive, does not want to apologize, does not want to love again, but when we obey the voice of God, blessings upon blessings flow.

The fear of God is obedience to the voice and word of God. May we, who call ourselves Christians, return to the fear of the Lord. Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org

Book Ends

Book ends. These are the words I am hearing from the Lord, “Book Ends.”

On September 11, 2001, twenty four years ago today, the United States of America was attacked, today is the rememberance day of that event etched into the minds of a generation. Many can tell you where they were when they heard of the planes crashing into the Twin Towers.

Yesterday, September 10, 2025, Charlie Kirk, a bible believing, unashamed, gospel of the kingdom, man of God, who led large group political and spiritual discussions on college campuses all over the nation was shot and killed in Utah. The nation is shocked, grieving and wondering.

“Book ends”, says the Lord. “Book ends to the end of a 24 year season.” What I am sensing is what started on September 11, 2001 and opened up this season we have been in for 24 years, has ended with the death of Charlie Kirk on September 10, 2025.

America must take seven days to grieve the death of this young man. Our grieving as a nation will include shock, anger, tears, questions, denial, frustration, blame and all the other aspects that come with grief, but once we accept what happened, it will activate a passion that is not emotional, not political, but honorable.

The smoke is upon us, the shot heard around the world is still echoing throughout nations, but this death will not be in vain, it will produce a harvest of righteousness in a nation for generations to come. The season of wickedness ruling is over, it’s 24 year reign came to an end with one shot. Now we will see and hear the inauguration of righteousness exalting the nation like we have never seen or heard before.

9/11/2001 to 9/10/2025 will be seen as “Book ends” of a 24 year season. Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org

Just Ask

I received a text message the other day from someone asking me to do something for them. The text came with a sense of pleading and almost begging for help, as though I might not be willing. After reading the message the Lord spoke to me and said, “My people do not need to beg and plead, all they have to do is ask.”

Much prayer in the Christian church is begging and pleading God to do something for us, hoping He will respond in kind. Begging and pleading is not faith, but fear of a no or not yet, reveals we do not know the heart and character of our Father.

In Acts 9 a woman dies and they call for Peter to come to their house, here is what it says, “So Peter arose and went with them. When he arrived, they brought him into the upper room; and all the widows stood beside him, weeping and showing all the tunics and garments that Dorcas used to make while she was with them. But Peter sent them all out and knelt down and prayed, and turning to the body, he said, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.”

The people in the room were begging and pleading with Peter to do something by showing them all she did for the community, but Peter sent them out and turned to the dead woman and told her to arise. No begging, no pleading, no fanfare or all night prayer meeting, just a command, Tabitha arise.

Many people have learned to beg and plead with God, because they have lived with hope deferred for so long, but we are living in a new day and the Lord is near to the broken hearted; He tells us to seek and we will find, to knock and the door will be opened, to ask and it will be granted to us. We must stop begging and pleading with God, for it is a childish form of manipulation and it will not get us anywhere.

We are sons and daughters not beggars and pleaders. Father, forgive us for acting like beggars in the house of our Father. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org

Practical Side of Proverbs

Solomon in his proverbs says things we love to quote, but they are very real life things we need to ponder, process and allow to practically apply to our lives. One of the themes of the Proverbs of Solomon is around guarding our hearts, for it is the wellspring of life. It is easy to say, but hard to do, for the heart longs for things we do not even realize it is longing for.

If we view the heart like a tree, it has roots that are longing for water and it will seek a drink in places it may or may not realize it is drinking from. Therefore, if we are drinking from pollluted wells of water, because of roots we do not recognize, we will pour out water from our mouth that comes from our heart that pollutes the one that is listening. Silence is just as pollutant as speaking, for both represent how we are thinking.

Guarding our hearts is easier said than done, for another proverb says, “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.” When we have been in a long season of waiting for a promise we know God spoke to us, when the Lord nudges to us to dream again, we may resist the nudging. This resistance is evidence of a heart that has grown sick in the waiting, in the hope that has been deferred.

But can I encourage you today, that God is not done with you, He does not speak and not fulfill what He said He would do. However, He needs us to agree with what He is doing right now. Many have been told things that have not come true yet, but when time meets promises, things happen and they happen quickly.

Friends, don’t resist what God is doing right now, because you have been waiting for so long and cynicism has crept in. Pray with David in Psalm 51, create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit in me. There is a wind blowing, a fire blazing, a love descending, a power residing, in us that wants to come through us, but we must agree with it, not resist it. Dream again, love again, serve again, forgive again, desires are being fulfilled and it is a tree of life. Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org

Posture Matters

Our posture in the spirit is determined by our understanding and accepting who we are, whose we are and what we have been given. When we do not know who we are, whose we are and what we have been given we live a very small, insecure, boring life.

God is fun! The Lord is full of adventures! Jesus is easy to get along with! The Father gives great advice! The Holy Spirit is the best comforter! Oh that we understood whose we are. Life would be so much more enjoyable; people would be so much more tolerable to us; and joy would be more speakable.

The Bible says, a cheerful heart is good medicine, I wonder if we need some laughter, some enjoyment, some fun in our lives to break off this heaviness many carry, cast out these diseases many are riddled with and lift off this yoke that many are under.

Think about this, Psalm 68 says, “Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered, And let those who hate Him flee before Him. As smoke is driven away, so drive them away; As wax melts before the fire, So let the wicked perish before God. But let the righteous be glad; let them exult before God; Yes, let them rejoice with gladness.” Who are you in these verses? Are you the wicked and perishing or the righteous and rejoicing?

All God has to do is arise, stand up, take notice, look our direction. He does not make a move toward the enemy other than arising and look at the enemy flee, scatter, run for cover. One posture change by God, arise and the enemy can’t handle it. If you are in Christ and Christ is in you, if you just stand up in who God says you are, the enemy will flee. Didn’t Paul say, stand and keep on standing in Ephesians 6?

This truth is only one of many in the word of God and this alone is worthy of throwing our hands up in praise over; lifting our voice up in joy over; stomping our feet in dancing over. Joy is an inside job, because it is about knowing who you are, whose you are and what you have been given. No matter what it looks like circumstantially. God is arising so we need to be rejoicing for greater is He that is in us than He that is in th world. Rejoice! Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org
