Yesterday while in Murphy, NC for a prophetic adventure, staking claim for the salvation of the nations, we went into a gift shop on site at the location we were at. While in that gift shop, I found a compact Bible, and I opened it randomly to Isaiah 33 and my eyes fell on the words “Ambassadors of Peace.”
We left the gift shop, but the words “Ambassadors of Peace” would not leave my mind. Then the words of Paul in Romans 16 flooded my thoughts, “The God of peace will soon crush Satan under His feet.” Jesus is the Prince of Peace and with all the peace talks happening, I am honestly surprised at how anti-peace many Christians are.
When war is in our hearts, peace cannot rule over us. People who are not healed are familiar with and okay with war. Wounded people are warriors, because they are not healed enough to enter into peace. Peace feels passive, vulnerable, to people who are wounded. Peace is hard to access if you are wounded, this is why God wants to heal His people.
Jesus never went to war with people or the enemy. Jesus remained in peace and through peace He crushed the head of Satan. Peace is a powerful weapon, for in peace you are not moved by circumstances or situations. We as the body of Christ have been so dipped in Matthew 24 wars and rumors of wars, we cannot enter into Romans 16 and Isaiah 33, to let the God of peace make us ambassadors of peace.
Friends, peace is not a precursor to some Ezekiel 38 war. When peace makes you afraid of a looming war, your theology is off. Jesus Christ declared it is finished. He is the Prince of Peace and we are to be ambassadors of peace, but we must allow the Lord to healus.
We must embrace the man of peace and stop living in fear of some Armageddon war that is coming. Babylon is falling not rising, fear not my friends, this peace is not some precursor to a war, it the way of the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. Www.apsotolicresourcecenter.org
