Not Pulling Down But Pouring Out

In 1999 I went to a revival in Missouri and my life changed forever. I saw, heard and experienced things I had never known before. I was blessed with some of the best friends in the world, I was trained by one of the best apostolic leaders I know and I carry inside of me the seeds of those years.

Like with anything we cannot live our lives from a moment in our history, we must build on what we have learned, we must continue to grow in our walk with the Lord, no matter how powerful a time in our history was. If we stop and camp at one encounter, even if that encountered lasted years, we must continue listening, learning, loving and leaning into the Lord.

This morning the Lord built upon that which I learned in that revival, but showing me that it is not about pulling something down from heaven, but about pouring something out that is already in me. This is a huge paradigm shift for me, for I was trained to pull it down and God is saying, pour it out.

Proverbs 8 with Wisdom speaking says, “What I impart has greater worth than gold and treasure, and the increase I bring benefits more than a windfall of income. I lead you into the ways of righteousness to discover the paths of true justice. Those who love me gain great wealth and a glorious inheritance, and I will fill their lives with treasures.”

The paradigm shift for me is that this is in me, therefore, God is wanting it to come through me, to come out of me, for people need what God has put in me. I do not have to pull it down, I need to pour it out. Friends, we need to quit looking up to heaven for something to come down and ask the Lord how do I pour out what you have planted within?

We are a walking treasure chest of the glory of God on earth, now we need to pour out what He has put in us. Christ in you is the hope of glory. You are the temple of the Holy Spirit. You are a son/daughter of God. You are wealthier than you recognize, so you can be more generous than you think. We must repent of waiting for something to come down upon us and change the way we think to something that is to come out of us. The kingdom of God is at hand. Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org
