Feasting on Life Now

Day 4 – Feasting On John 4

John 4:25-26 “The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming (He who is called Christ); when that One comes, He will declare all things to us.” Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.”

The future is a beautiful expression of hope anchored in the veil, knowing we are headed into better days when we are struggling. However, those struggles are to be temporary not permanent if we are to enjoy what is upon us now, rather than continually hoping for what is to come.

The abundant life is a life lived knowing that Jesus is speaking to you in now time about now things. John 4 shows us that we can get so focused on what’s coming that we cease to see what or who is standing right in front of us and speaking to us. The abundant life is living in the now, not the not yet or someday.

We as believers are long over due to take off the grave clothes of suffering, sadness, mourning, disappointment and despair. It is high time to realize our joy is not something coming, our Messiah is not someone coming again someday, He is alive today, He is living inside of us as believers through the Holy Spirit today. He is speaking to us today. Today is the day of salvation; today if you hear His voice; today is the day the Lord has made.

Once the woman in John 4 got out of the future coming into the man named Jesus right in front of her speaking to her today, she dropped her pot and proclaimed the good news with great joy. Today is a feast day for the kingdom of God is within you…Live NOW! This is really good news.

John 4:25-26 “The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming (He who is called Christ); when that One comes, He will declare all things to us.” Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.”

Here Comes the Conclusion

Day 3 – Feasting On John 3

As I feast on the open book of the gospel of John, I am in awe of the parallels between this gospel and our current reality in the world. God’s word is truly living and active right now on January 3, 2021.

We are literally living in the days of Light coming into the world. Light means truth, exposure, opportunity to repent, to surrender, to confess, to come clean. This week we will continue to see the Light shine on situations we may or may not be familiar with, for when Light comes all can see.

Many people struggle with the word judgment, but judgement is good when it comes from God for like a Judge, judgements are decisions, verdicts, they finalize a matter. It’s exhausting to keep things open endlessly, we need conclusions to matters so we can move on. Light coming is judgments being rendered that we can see and hear.

What may surprise some people is how many times people could have come clean prior to public exposure but chose not to. The Lord is merciful and kind, He always gives chances to deal with us in private, but if we refuse He deals with us in public. Public exposure will bring the fear of the Lord.

All I can say today is here comes the Light (Truth) in a public way, and all will say, Yahweh, Yahweh! At least this is what John 3 has to say.

John 3:19-21 “This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.”

Things That Make You Go…Hmmmm

On December 27, 2020 the Lord spoke to me and said, “The first 21 days of 2021 are to be feast days. Feast on the open book of John for 21 days.” Little did I know January 6, 2021 is a Feast Day. If its God speaking we will hear an echo because His voice is powerful. January 6, 2021 we are going to be feasting!

Feasting on John 2

Day 2 – Feasting On John 2

John 2 is all about feasting. It opens with a wedding feast and it ends with the Passover feast. Israel was not afraid of feasting, celebrating, rejoicing. This was not some small celebration these feasts would last for days. Everyone in the village would come and every Jew around the world would join in the feast of the Lord, one of them being the feast of Passover.

Feasting is a lost art in American culture. It’s as though we have a cultural spirit that doesn’t allow us to celebrate. The impression is we are arrogant, gluttonous, or somehow sinful if we are feasting. This is just one evidence of the religious spirit in our nation that God is going to remove. We don’t celebrate and we don’t want others to celebrate either. And to celebrate someone else’s victory is almost unheard of.

We have become so accustomed to being unhappy we forgot how to feast, how to celebrate, how to go over the top in the extravagance and abundance of God’s blessings. We have become a culture of critics because we’ve lost the ability to feast, to celebrate.

God is going to restore feasting, celebrating, enjoying life, other people and the Lord. In our feasting many will believe; in our feasting God will do signs and wonders; in our feasting we will cast off our grave clothes and learn to live abundantly and laugh hilariously. The Lord is inviting us to feast not to fast; to encourage not to criticize; to bless others not curse them. When we bless others we are actually expanding their territory and when we curse others we are limiting them. It’s no wonder that we are called to bless and not curse.

I see God releasing such a celebration, such a party, such a feast that is going to bring rejoicing like we have never known before. This is going to take a mindset shift because we are so accustomed to fasting but we are not accustomed to feasting.

John 2 opens with a wedding feast and closes with the feast of Passover. It is time to hear the prophetic word of Zechariah who said that fasting is going to be turned into feasting. I believe that day is upon us! Our feasting it’s going to cause people to believe that Jesus Christ is the resurrected Lord! It’s time to feast with the Lord and each other.

Zechariah 4:18 “Then the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying, “Thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘The fast of the fourth, the fast of the fifth, the fast of the seventh and the fast of the tenth months will become joy, gladness, and cheerful feasts for the house of Judah; so love truth and peace.’”

John 2:23 “Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in His name, observing His signs which He was doing.”

Feasting on John 1

2021 the year of God Alone on the Throne. The first 21 days of this year the Lord has invited us to His banqueting table to feast on the open book called the gospel of John. Today is day one of our feast and each of us is going to partake of a dish on the table. I encourage you if you are joining this feast, don’t just eat from the dish I like, share with us in the comments below the dish you enjoyed as well, so we can feast on the variety of foods coming out of God’s word. Grab your fork and let’s dig in.

I could not get past the first couple verses of John 1 because Jesus is honey that satisfies my soul like no one else can. John immediately opens his gospel by saying in the beginning and then adds the Word, God, Being, Life, Light and darkness. The connection between John 1 and Genesis 1 are unmistakable.

Listen to John 1:1-5 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”

Now hear Genesis 1:1-5 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light day, and the darkness He called night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.”

From go the darkness did not comprehend the Light. Is it any wonder when Light became flesh and blood and dwelt among us (John 1:14) on earth the darkness didn’t understand? All darkness knew is that it was separated from the Light. Darkness never has nor will it ever comprehend Light, it can’t because it was, is and always will be separated from Light.

Light is life! Light is love! Light is The Word! Light is God! and the darkness will never understand it, that is why we are called to crossover from darkness to Light, from death to Life. The two will never merge, that is why we have to choose a life of darkness or Light.

I have lived all in the darkness and I’ve lived all in the Light and I’ve tried to live with one foot in the one and one foot in the other. I can tell you this, I’ve made my decision and I’m never changing my mind, Jesus is the Light and I’m living in Him and He’s living in me, no turning back no turning back.

2021 the year of God Alone on the Throne of my heart and life. We all have to choose darkness or Light, I’ve made my choice, what do you choose?

I look forward to hearing what you tasted and saw in John 1 even as I’ve shared with you what I’m feasting on today.

Called to a Feast

As 2020 comes to a close, the Lord is inviting us to spend the first 21 days of 2021 feasting on the open book of the Gospel of John. I realize that traditionally churches “fast” the first 21 days of the year, but it’s a new era and the Lord is inviting us to a 21 day “feast.”

I sense the Lord is going to prepare a table for us in the presence of His enemies as we sit and feast at the table; as we commune and converse together; the Lord will lead us into understanding during these days. The table will become a tabernacle that keeps our hearts ablaze during these days.

I look forward to these 21 days of feasting at the table of the Lord together with you. I hope you will join me as we feed on the gospel of John for the first 21 days of 2021. It is truly going to be honey that satisfies our soul.

Psalm 23:5 “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows.”

His Powerful Whisper

I was outside on my threshing floor praying this morning for the nation and I was praying Psalm 35. I was swinging the sword of the word decreeing what David was declaring in this Psalm. I was 8 or 9 verses in, full on passion and proclamation for the nation when the Holy Spirit says “The whisper of God has more power than all the nations.” I stopped dead in my tracks and melted right there in the presence of God.

His whisper has more power than the nations…

I was silenced, tears falling down my face as I was given a glimpse into the power of God again. I then saw the whisper of God as He said…S-A-L-V-A-T-I-O-N. It was as though the letters came from His whisper in slow motion. I melted again in that moment. I stood in awe of the power of the whisper.

Two scriptures came to my spirit one is 1 Kings 19 with Elijah who heard God’s whisper and wrapped his face in his mantle and the second was Psalm 46. Psalm 46:10 melted me yet again as the Lord whispered…

“Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

His whisper is more powerful than all men in all nations.

Establish Mindset

A mindset shift is needed in the church from escape to establish. The escape message has been preached so much that when things get hard, don’t go our way, or look difficult many believers escape, quit, concede, give up. This is the result of escape preaching and teaching.

It’s a new era and there’s a new message being preached for the apostolic will not teach you how to escape, but how to establish. We as the church have been called to establish the kingdom on earth as it is in heaven; we are told by Jesus, I am going to build (establish) My church and the gates of hell will not overcome it (Matthew 16); we are going to establish the truth that will set us free.

Once the mindset shifts from escape to establish the church will invest in the earth. We are told we are not of this world, speaking of a system or mindset, the Bible never says we are not of this earth. The earth is the Lords (Psalm 24:1), and we are called to be establishers on it not ones who escape from it. Once we understand this, the harvest will come!

Micah 4:1-2 “It will come about in the last days

That the mountain of the house of the LORD

Will be established as the chief of the mountains.

It will be raised above the hills,

And the peoples will stream to it.

Many nations will come and say,

“Come and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD

And to the house of the God of Jacob,

That He may teach us about His ways

And that we may walk in His paths.”

2021 The Year of God Alone on the Throne

Every year the prophets seek to share what they hear God is saying about the upcoming year. Many prophets in 2020 called for great blessings, prosperity, open doors and many other ear tantalizing prophecies. Then 2020 happened and it seemed as if none of what they prophesied came true. However, upon closer examination, I think we got exactly what they prophesied, it just did not come in a package we saw coming. Who would listen to a prophecy declaring lockdowns, closing of businesses, riots, CHOP zones, election fraud and a Christmas bombing? No one would have liked, shared or commented favorably with an AMEN to that kind of prophetic word.

There was one man though, Chuck Pierce, who in December 2019 sent out Christmas cards and he quoted Isaiah 32:1 which says, “Look – a new era begins! A king will reign in righteousness, and his princes according to justice! (The Passion Translation). On the front of the Christmas card it said, “He came in the midst of Chaos”, then Chuck wrote, we have not just entered a new year, decade or season, but a new era in the Kingdom of God. He continued, we have entered a NEW KINGDOM ERA where the voices of God’s ambassadors must decree that His government will be everlasting. From what Chuck said in last years Christmas card, I think we can all look back with 20/20 vision and say a big amen.

Now as we look to 2021, I’ve noticed there are very few words coming forth about what prophetic people see coming in the year ahead. I hear many prophesying what is currently playing out, but to project further than a couple weeks, or a month, it seems as though there is a hesitancy. I believe this is by God’s design. The prophets took a hit in 2020 especially with the delay of their election prophecies, but again I believe this is by God’s design. When we get too comfortable in something, God makes us uncomfortable to remind us we are only the mouthpiece, He alone is the voice, He alone is the breath, He alone is the Word. As we go into 2021 what can we expect then?

What the Lord showed me for 2021 is that this will be the year of God Alone on the Throne. I see 2021 as a year of many principalities, powers, and people being dethroned. I see 2021 as a time of God making it very clear that He alone is God, He alone is on the throne and that He has no equal, He needs no help, and He can do whatsoever He pleases. This will be hard for some people, for they are so used to an easy going, we can do what we want God, but that is not the God of the Bible. The God of the Bible is King, Supreme, Ruler, Authority, Father, Almighty, He is all powerful, all knowing, and an all-consuming fire. He alone is God and I believe in 2021 we are going to see a God Alone on the Throne Year.

We are in need of this kind of a year, because 2020 showed us we do not have as much power or control over things that we thought, but 2021 is going to show the powers that have sought to control us, oppress us and scare us, that they do not have as much power as they think they do either. 2021 is going to restore the fear of the Lord; it is going to restore biblical authority; it is going to restore Jesus as Resurrected King and Lord; it is going to be a year that there is no doubt that man is but a breath, but God is eternal. 2021 is going to put us back into biblical order, where Jesus is the only Head of His Church and where all governments realize they are under the government of God, for the Lord put them in place and like King Nebuchadnezzar they are going to know the kingdom of God rules (Daniel 4:17).

2021 will be remembered as the Year of God Alone on the Throne. Divine order is going to be established, the gospel of the kingdom is going to be preached, a fresh revelation of Jesus Christ is going to be revealed and we are going to feast on the open book of God’s living word like never before. 2021 is going to be like a chiropractic adjustment, we will feel so much better once we are adjusted and every organ, cell and bone in our body will come alive for God is about to turn the power back on in the body of Christ.

For you that want a little more prophetic insight into this word, 20 in Hebrew is Reysh which is pictured as a head with a crown on it and 21 in Hebrew is Sheen which is pictured as teeth and is the one Hebrew letter God uses for His name. 20-21 in Hebrew declares God Alone is Supreme, henceforth, while I was praying about this the Lord said, 2021 is the Year of God Alone on the Thone. When 2021 is over we are going to look back and be so thankful that God Alone is on the Thone for He is faithful, He is trustworthy, He is patient, He is kind, He is a servant King and He loves us so much more than we even understand. I believe 2021 is going to be a turning point year for the nations and the verses I see marking this year are Psalm 33:8-11 “Let all the earth fear the Lord; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spoke, and it was done. He commanded, and it stood firm. The Lord nullifies the plan of nations; He frustrates the plans of peoples. The plan of the Lord stands forever, The plans of His heart from generation to generation” (NASB).

2021 The Year of God Alone on the Throne! It’s going to be a great year.

Release A Sound

The Lord spoke to me and said, “I am not listening for a song from my people, I am listening for a sound from my people.”

Honestly, I did not realize there was a difference, until I looked up the definition of the two words song and sound.

Song = a short poem or other set of words set to music or meant to be sung

Sound = vibrations that travel through the air or another medium and can be heard when they reach a persons or animals ear.

The Lord wants to hear a sound, a vibration coming from His people that affects the atmosphere. The prophet Joel said, “SOUND the alarm” (Joel 2). Adam and Eve heard “the SOUND of the Lord God in the garden” (Genesis 3). The Lord told David “when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees” (2 Samuel 5).

Church it’s time to release the sounds that pierce the atmosphere. Blow your shofar, bang the drums, lift your voice for the Lord is listening for our sound!!!
