Summer and Fall

I heard the words “Transition Turbulence” and so I did a little research on the word turbulence. The summation of what I learned was, “Turbulence is not the sign of failure—it’s the proof that you’re moving. Don’t panic in the shaking. Let the Pilot fly. The shaking is temporary, but the destination is eternal.” Thanks Chat GPT.

Once I was done reading and praying into the words “transition turbulence” I received a text message from a friend who shared of her own “transition turbulence” happening at her job. As our group chat was happening, I was thanking the Lord for leaning into this phrase this morning not knowing she would be going through this very thing.

Then moments ago I heard the Holy Spirit say, “It’s a summer of shaking for the fall will make all things new.” I believe these two words summer and fall are season words that mean what they say, but when I heard the word fall, it meant the season, for I saw September in my spirit, but it also meant the fall of something.

For years I have been saying, Babylon is falling, but we are truly witnessing it in real time. I know things are shaking, they have to, for we are in “Transition Turbulence” personally, corporately, nationally and internationally. This summer may be shaky, but it is temporary and we are not flying the plane, the pilot is. Our pilot is not shaken by the turbulence, so we can buckle up and let Him fly this plane.

We are living in history right now, summer is shaking, but the fall is making all things new. September will be significant for we will see many things we never knew. Hebrews 12:28 “Since we receive a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude…for our God is a consuming fire.” Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org

King of Generosity

One of the greatest shifts the church is making, slowly, but surely is from obligation to generosity. Under the Aaronic priesthood the people of God were obligated to do the works of the law, to offer sacrifices for sins, to adhere strictly to the commandments. This system is what Jesus confronted when He walked the earth and the religious leaders were furious with Jesus because He was generous.

Generosity awakens something in us that is asleep. When Peter caught the miraculous load of fish in John 21, it awakened him to the reality that Jesus was not dead but alive. Following the law, the rules, the commands does not awaken us, it keeps us locked into a system of control that diminishes us.

The woman with the alabaster jar of perfume, generously poured perfume on Jesus’ feet and Judas was furious with her. What was supposed to awaken him to the soon coming death of Christ, embittered him against Jesus for not rebuking her for her generosity.

The word generosity is synonymous with righteousness. In Hebrew Sedaqa is righteousness and it is the root word for generosity. Sedaqa is aligned with Zedek or Melchizedek or the Zadok priesthood and it means king of righteousness or king of generosity. Jesus is of the order of Melchizedek (Hebrews 7), so He is the king of generosity or righteousness.

Our call is not to obligation, but to generosity. We are called to be generous with our time, our talents, our words, our money, our forgiveness, our everything. Selfishness, survival mode, causes us to be stingy, when the Lord is calling us to be generous. Generosity awakens something in us, but the question we must ask is… is generosity awakening anger in us like it did with Judas or gratitude like it did with Peter?

Generosity, the order of Melchizedek, is the order of the kingdom of God and some can’t enter into it, because generosity has awakened in them someone they did not know they were, until generosity came to their front door. Gratitude is the inoculation that keeps us healthy as God is very generous to us. Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org

Face Down

Sights and sounds have the ability to invoke a response in us. If we hear the sound of a fire alarm it may invoke fear or encourage us to flee; if we hear a doorbell it will cause us to jump up and head to the door; if we hear a baby crying it will cause us to respond to the cry we hear. Sounds are powerful, but add sight to the sound and it impacts us deeply.

Over the centuries the church has been a sight and sound experience, we have heard the sound of church bells ringing or seen and heard choirs singing. We have heard preachers preaching and worship leaders singing. We have been in cathedrals with beautiful stained glassed windows and have seen smoke and laser lights on stages we call sanctuaries.

God has given people the ability to produce sights and sounds that cause us to sing along, shout and clap or stand amazed at the talent, the sound and the skill that comes out of humanity. We are created in the image of God, so we can produce a sight and sound experience, because that is who our God is.

The difference is, when man or woman creates sight and sound experiences we can remain standing, but when God reveals a sight and sound encounter, we will fall down. Ezekiel 1:28 says, “Such was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard the voice of one speaking.”

We have experienced the sights and sounds of men and remain standing, but when we encounter the sights and sounds of God, we will fall down. If we can remain upright throughout worship, we may be hearing men and women sights and sounds, because when the glory of God comes in with a sight and sound encounter, you will fall down. It is a natural response to the glory of God.

Peter fell down at Jesus’ feet with the miraculous catch of fish in John 21; John fell down at the sight of the throne of God in Revelation 4; Ezekiel fell face down at the sight of the glory of God. When you really see and hear God, your natural response will be to fall down. It is a natural response to the God who is not us, but who made us. It is true, we all fall down when we encounter Him. Something Good

I woke up a couple times last night and both times the sense I had in the atmosphere was “something good is happening.” In the current climate around the world, one would not think this would not be the atmosphere I would be experiencing, but it was so clear to me that something good is happening and it happened twice in the middle of the night last night. Two meaning testimony or something is established.

Then this morning I sensed I was supposed to read the book of Nahum. The minor prophet Nahum has a vision concernining Nineveh, which biblically is where Iran is currently. I do not find this coincidental, nor do I find what God is saying surprising. Listen to what Nahum 1:15 says to Nineveh and the world today, “Behold, upon the mountains, the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace! Keep your feasts, O Judah; fulfill your vows, for never again shall the worthless pass through you; he is utterly cut off.”

God is dealing with people who are against the good news He is releasing the nations. Negative narratives, destructive theologies, are enemies of the good news the Lord is proclaiming over nations. Nations are people and they are all over the world. The Lord is declaring good news and He is raising up publishers of peace. I know what the main stream media is saying, I know what the news is showing, but this is what God is saying.

Nahum 1:7-8 says, “The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him. But with an overflowing flood he will make a complete end of the adversaries, and will pursue his enemies into darkness.” Friends things are getting better not worst, it just depends on who’s voice you are hearing. God of all creation is declaring good news and He is publishing peace. It may not look that way right now, but give it a couple days, you will hear of so much good news. End From The Beginning

The Bible is a book of mysteries and if we do not live with child like wonder, we will make dogmatic which is fluid and miss the joy of life on earth as it is in heaven. Our need to be secure in some theology or doctine has ruined relationships, hindered revivals, stopped the river of life from flowing out of us. We do not know as much as we think, this is why humility is the key to success in the kingdom of God. Be still my friends, He is, He was and He ever will be God and He knows exactly what He is doing, which is why most things are a mystery to us.

One of the mysteries most of us don’t understand is that when God speaks to us it is usually not for now time, but for another time. Isaiah 46 says, “Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’; Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass. I have planned it, surely I will do it.”

When God speaks to us He tells us the end of a matter at the beginning of it, so when it happens we remember He told us this was the way it would be. In 1999, I was sitting in the parking lot of Fuller Theological Seminary preparing to register for my second semester of seminary and the Holy Spirit spoke to me in the car and said, “As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.” (1 John 2:27) I drove away and never continued a formal education in seminary.

Fast forward to this past weekend. We have a guest speaker from Australia in town and his Sunday message and Monday night bible master class was so affirming to what God has spoken to me over the past 26 years, I could not keep silent. Then this morning, the Lord said, remember I told you My spirit would teach you all things. Selah. In 1999 the Lord spoke me and now in 2025, He revealed that He did exactly what He said He would do. Friends, look in your history to find the mystery of what God is doing in your life right now. He speaks the end from the beginning. Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org

Peace Is A Person

Peace is the plumbline by which we are to measure ourselves. Peace is a location internally that only comes from the Prince of Peace who lives inside of you. When everything around you is shaking, there is a Person of Peace living inside of you. Can you hear the invitation to rest in the peace living inside of you, so no matter what happens around you, there is no disturbing your peace?

Peace is a force we cannot deny. It is no wonder we are called to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. The wife of the lamb is a city, the new Jerusalem coming down from heaven, she is a city of peace, in whom the Lord is the light within her. Revelation 21:2-3 says, “I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.” This is not a distant but a current reality for Christ in us is the hope of glory and we are the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Paul in Romans 16 calls Jesus the God of peace who will crush Satan under His feet. The disrupter of peace is not Jesus, it is another who is seeking to invite you into anxiety, fear, chaos, anything but peace. For any other position other than peace causes conflict within you and strife with others around you. Peace is powerful and necessary.

Isaiah 57 says, “Peace, peace, to the far and to the near, says the LORD, and I will heal him. But the wicked are like the tossing sea; for it cannot be quiet, and its waters toss up mire and dirt. There is no peace, says my God, for the wicked.” Friends wickedness loves to cause conflict, but we are to not come outside the boundaries of peace out of curiosity, or for being informed about what waters are being tossed up. Trust in the Lord, He is the prince of peace and He is not shaken nor moved and as we rest in Him neither are we. Shalom, shalom God is not moved. Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org

Temple Tax Salvation

I was reading Proverbs 16 this morning and in a flash, seemingly without context, I see in the spirit the coin in the fishes mouth. I tried to keep reading, but the Holy Spirit was nudging me to go look at that story in Matthew 17. The context is paying temple tax in Capernaum, where Jesus and Peter were at the time. Jesus asks a question of Peter as to who is to pay the tax, the sons or the others. Peter answer correctly and says the others, then Jesus says, but in order to not offend them…wow!

Jesus is beyond explanation amazing in how He treats humanity. He knew the temple tax leaders would be offended if He and Peter did not pay the taxes, even though they were sons of the soil and were tax exempt. Jesus paid the taxes in order to not offend the temple leaders. Offend means to entrap; trip up; entice to sin; cause displeasure; put a stumbling block in their way; to cause one to judge. Jesus paid the tax so the leaders in the temple would not be offended. Our God is beyond amazing.

The visual I saw was the coin in the fishes mouth. The Holy Spirit said, “I have resources hidden everywhere.” The fish was a vehicle of salvation, rescue from the oppressive system that demanded temple taxes from the sons of the soil. The fish provided the salvation needed from the system of taxes, while Jesus covered the leadership of that system by paying the taxes.

When I first got saved the fish symbol was on the back of cars as a statement that the people driving the car were believers. The fish was the symbol of salvation and today, I see how again the fish becomes a symbol of salvation from a system that seeks to oppress the sons of the kingdom. God has resources hidden everywhere. Never fear running out and go ahead and pay what they say, in order to not offend them. The fish is still declaring salvation, rescue, deliverance from the system and there is an abundance of coins available in hidden places. Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org

Watchmen on the Wall Decree

June 14, 2025, what a day this will be. The plans of man for today are riots in cities all over America; a military parade in Washington, DC; the birthday of the President of the USA, DJT; and Israel and Iran are exchanging missle launches at each other. Many have been called to pray at various locations around the nation, others will sit home and watch the news unfold as the day unfolds. Many things happening on this simple Saturday in June 2025.

Being aware of what is happening around us is important, but not entering into the narrative, the emotion, or the pace of it is of utmost importance for those who are kingdom citizens. As watchmen on the wall of the nation, we must have eyes open, heart listening and mouth declaring what the Lord is saying, not what the news is speaking.

I was praying about today this morning and I heard two verses joined together by the Holy Spirit. I first heard Amos 5:24 “Let justice roll down like the waters, and righteousness like one ever-flowing stream.” I then heard, Proverbs 10:25 “When the storm has swept by, the wicked are gone, but the righteous stand firm forever.” Putting these two verses together becomes the decree coming out of me.

I declare justice will roll down like the waters on our nation to wash away all the wickedness in our land. I declare the rain of justice fall from heaven to eradicate wickedness and establish righteousness in our land. I pray for an ever-flowing stream of healing, like Ezekiel’s river to run through our land, so the leaves of the trees on either side of this river of righteousness brings healing to the nations. I declare when this day planned by man is over, the nation will say, look what the Lord has done! What the enemy is planning for evil, I see God working for good as righteousness and justice reign over our nation today and forevermore. In Jesus name, amen!

God Is Building Now

I went to Friendship Park in Atchinson, KS years ago and while there the Lord spoke to me and said, America’s transportation building started with the rivers, then they followed the trails, then they built the rails, next they laid the roads, and now they are going to the realms. This understanding changed my life. Once there is seemingly nothing else to build physically, you want to build something successfully. Henceforth the love for platforms, positions and people seeing you, hearing you, loving you.

We were created to build things, create things, have a purpose for our existence on earth. This is a God given reality we all carry. This past month I have had life altering experiences with people who built cities. It started with Milton and Catherine Hershey, who built Hershey, PA and now it is happening with Daniel Pratt who built Prattville, AL. Men with vision, purpose, ideas and execution. They didn’t pursue riches, they pursued building communities and riches followed.

These men built cities for people not to get rich. They got rich from doing it, but they always invested it back in creating something for people to thrive in, to express their gifts in, and to build their families in. Hebrews 11 says, Abraham was looking for a city whose builder and maker was God. Cities are clusters of people who are building something together.

When we build together, we have a sense of purpose, community and authority, for we are doing it together. God is building the kingdom of God on earth and it is not about pursuing riches, they will follow; nor is it about being famous, He is the only name that this city will be known by. The days of not knowing our purpose are ending, the days of building is here. We are being invited to build lives together with the gifts we have been given in order to manifest the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. It’s time to build.

God Hasn’t Changed His Mind

In the Old Testament book of 1 Samuel we have our first introduction to the nation of Israel asking for a human king. This was very displeasing to the prophet Samuel and the Lord God Himself. Yahweh was the Lord of the nation, they were to not be a nation governed by a king, but by the Lord Himself. This was one of their distinguishing marks as the covenant people of God. But they wanted a king and so God gave them Saul.

The story goes on through the Old Testament of all the generations and all the kings this nation called Israel had. Some kings were wicked and some were righteous. Some kings destroyed the nation through idolatry, while other kings reformed the nation by returning them to their first love. But the truth remained, God never intended His covenant people to governed by an earthly king.

King David was and is possibly the most honored of all Israel’s kings. He was declared a man after God’s own heart, but the truth did not change, that God did not want them to be governed by an earthly king. Fast forward to Jesus walking the earth for 33 years and when they wanted to make Him king, He disappeared out of their midst. Jesus knew they were not to be governed by an earthly king, so He was not going to let them make Him one.

Now it comes time for Jesus to be crucified in John 19 and Pilate the governor of Judea is talking with the religious leaders and listen to what they say, “Now it was the day of Preparation of the Passover. It was about the sixth hour. He said to the Jews, “Behold your King!” They cried out, “Away with him, away with him, crucify him!” Pilate said to them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king but Caesar.”

Not only did the religious leaders of the Jews declare they had a king, they declared Caesar was their king. Caesar was not even a Jewish king, he was a Roman king. Israel loved being like all the other nations so much, they even went so far as to have a Roman be their king, but God never changed His mind, He wanted to be their God and for them to be His covenant people.

What started as a simple request for a king turned into a complete absorbing into Roman culture, so much so they even had a Roman king. Friends, a little leaven still leaven’s the whole lump, so we must go back to God’s original design for His covenant people, no matter how far away from the foundation we find ourselves, for Yahweh has not changed His mind, He still wants us to be a nation governed by God, not an earthy king.
