It’s Time To Feast

Famine is giving way to feasting at such a fast pace we don’t have time to analyze it, we are being invited to embrace it and let it wrap itself around us like a heated blanket on a cold and rainy morning. Famines in the word of God were seasonal not eternal. The longer the famine the harder it was to transition into the feasting. Yahweh set up a cycle of feasts that His people would attend throughout different times of the year to remind them famines are seasonal and feasts are continual. The three main feasts of God are Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles, but there are other feasts they celebrated as well.

Every nation has a cycle of feasts that break the famines in our nations. For America we have Easter, Independence Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I know there are many more but those are the big four. In Malaysia they have many feasts because they had three main religions in the country. We had Merdeka Day, Chinese New Year, Deepavali. It was a time of feasting and it broke any famine off of the people. Feasting and famine are experiences we all have had. The famine or lean times are not fun but they are endurable, they are educational if you can hear what the famine is saying.

Feasting is the norm in the kingdom culture. When we live in submission, in obedience to, in honor of the God who is abundance we find ourselves in a feast everyday for His word and His presence never run out. Psalm 31:8 says “You have kept me from being conquered by my enemy; you broke open the way to bring me to freedom, into a beautiful, broad place.” (TPT) As I prayed this the Lord glanced at me and said, “This is what I do! This is who I Am!” Friends, we have been pressed but not conquered by the enemy; we have been given a way to freedom and now we are entering into beautiful broad places. Grab His hand, He has so much He wants to show us and so many places He wants to take us. The feast is upon us!!!!

Passover Mexico

Intercessors, I would love to hear what you are hearing, seeing and sensing in the spirit and I want to share with you what I am sensing very strongly this week. I saw a post this morning from King’s Hill House of Prayer which confirmed for me what I am sensing, so on the witness of two I decided to share with you. All week long I have been interceding in my sleep. This is not normal for me, but this week every night my spirit has been on high alert. The person who posted on Kings Hill House of Prayer said, “I have been awakened before 4am night after night.” Then this morning as I was waking up I heard the words “Angel of death, Passover Mexico, Angel of death, Passover Mexico.” I am one who prays for American consistently I do not pray for Mexico, so this was a word from the Lord for me to pray for Mexico, so I have been and will continue to.

Then I open to Psalm 57 to pray this morning, as today is the 27th and I pray a Psalm a day all year long, and this is what the Psalmist says in the first three verses, “Be gracious to me, O God, be gracious to me, For my soul takes refuge in You; And in the shadow of Your wings I will take refuge Until destruction passes by. I will cry to God Most High, To God who accomplishes all things for me. He will send from heaven and save me; He reproaches him who tramples upon me.” Immediately I knew this was to be my prayer for Mexico per what I heard while waking up. I decreed, I asked, I prayed, Angel of death, Passover Mexico.

My intercessory friends, I am not sure what is going on but something is a foot and the spirit of God is alerting us to be on the wall in prayer. Tomorrow is the 9th of Av, this is a very significant day in the history of Israel, it is the day both Temples were destroyed, as well as other various events in their history. I am not sure, what is happening in the nations as I am not a news watcher, but there is something going on in the spirit and the Lord is saying to me, “Angel of death, Passover Mexico!” So I prayed as I was instructed. What are you are hearing, seeing, sensing?

Stones That Sparkle In The Land

Language has a beauty to it that makes the heart smile. Words have the power to lift us up, build us up, encourage us and send us out to do great exploits. When Jesus had a woman caught in adultery thrown at His feet by the religious leaders of His day, He said, “Whoever is without sin, cast the first stone.” The story goes on to say, starting with the oldest to the youngest they all dropped their stones and walked away from that woman. Jesus had a way of building up people who religious leaders found as an easy target to tear down.

While reading Zechariah 9 this morning, the wording caught my heart by surprise and caused me to pause and ponder the beauty of the language chosen to describe a people who lived in a desert land called Israel. “They are as the stones of a crown, Sparkling in His land.” The they in this passage is a refrence to the people called israel, the land is the actual land called Israel. What most don’t know is Israel is predominantly desert land, so for the Lord to call them stones sparkling in His land is a powerful image. Because they are stones of a crown, that word stones can be translated as jewels. Rubies, diamonds, emeralds, jaspers, sapphires, and any other precious stone you can think of.

What a connection this is, Jesus said He who is without sin cast the first stone, and the Zechariah prophesies, these are stones of a crown sparkling in His land. My friends, take another look at the stones you want to throw at another person in the body of Christ and realize just like you, that person is a precious jewel in the crown of God. Can you see them as a diamond, emerald, sapphire or ruby? If you can you will not want to stone them to death for their sin, for missing the mark, you will want to see them sparkle in the land of the living. Your words either cast them down or lift them up. I see stones of a crown, sparkling in the land we call earth. Can you see them?

Maritime Lessons

The end of May marked the beginning of the Hebrew month of Sivan, which is affiliated with the Tribe of Zebulun, whose typical symbol is that of a ship. When I learned these details last weekend, while listening to Glory of Zion’s sermon on Sunday morning about the month of Sivan, it added substance to some details God was revealing to me, but of which I did not have the frame of reference to place them. Now, that I have a better understanding of why the Lord was leading me to learn about Naval Mines and Barnacles, I can see clearer, that this month is about maritime issues and the Lord is preparing us to be ones who can carry the wealth of the nations. However, in order to be effective carries of these resources, there are some things we need to watch out for, so these are the maritime lessons the Lord has taught me and I want to share with you. I believe they are prophetic warnings of which we can deal with in prayer and they are for our personal lives as we progress into the new that is upon us.

Naval mines are bombs that the enemy drops in waters just outside a harbor that explode when a ship comes in to harbor. These bombs are placed on the ocean floor and are detonated by the presence of the arriving ships in order to blow them up before they can dock. Naval mines are used by many nations around the world to protect their own harbors from enemy ships approaching their harbor. As I studied these naval mines, I realized that when ministries, people and nations rise in financial power, the enemy detonates these bombs in order to destroy the ship carrying those resources. Some naval mines blow up because of people who do not have the character to handle the cash they are called to carry; others have enemies that plant these mines in their lives prior to them become cargo ships, so when they get big enough it triggers the naval mine to cause the explosion. No matter the way, the reality is, Zebulun, is a money ship and this ship is coming into harbor and will be going out of the harbor and the enemy is willing to wait for an opportune time to blow up our lives.

The Lord revealed these naval mines to me and then had me study mine sweeping. Mine sweeping is taking a simulated ship and sweeping the bottom of the ocean so the naval mines detonate prior to the real ships moving about. I believe this is where we have been. God has been mine sweeping our lives from naval mines the enemy planted when we were young, waiting for the opportune time to detonate them. I also believe prayer, fasting, bible reading, worship and silence are all tools God has used to mine sweep our lives, so they enemy cannot blow us up after we set sail into what God has prepared us for.

The second lesson the Lord taught me is that of barnacles. I sense very strongly we need to beware of the barnacles. As I heard these words from the Lord, “beware of the barnacles”, I knew, like the naval mines, the Lord was seeking to protect me from an intruder that would seek to destroy what God was going to release into our lives. Barnacles are marine animals that tend to live in shallow and tidal waters. Barnacles attach themselves to hard substrate. Barnacles in the natural attach themselves to solid things like ships, dock pillars, and jetty rocks. Here is what I did not know, barnacles have no true heart (can you hear what the spirit is saying). “Barnacles are of economic consequence, as they often attach themselves to synthetic structures, sometimes to the structure’s detriment. Particularly in the case of ships” (Wikipedia.com).

Knowing I heard the Lord say, “beware of barnacles” and then learning about the function of barnacles, opened my eyes wider to the reality that Proverbs 30:15 says, “The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give” (KJV). Barnacles are going to try and attach themselves to your life for the sake of what they can get from you and it will produce an economic consequence, so we need to beware of the barnacles. Barnacles, I believe can be people, credit cards, poor financial choices, bad investments, a variety of things. One of the lessons we must learn, who are going to carry the wealth of the nations is cost benefit analysis (CBA). If we aren’t good financial managers, we will not be allowed to carry great amounts of wealth, for the money will destroy us, just like the barnacles.

In this month of Sivan, whose associated tribe is Zebulun and whose symbol is the ship, which is associated to economics, business and money, the Lord is preparing us for an increase, by warning us of some maritime issues, which are very practical and prophetic simultaneously. The Lord delights in the prosperity of His children (Psalm 35:27), that is why He prepares us in so many ways before He releases to us what He wants us to enjoy. I hope this was helpful, insightful and practical. We are entering some very exciting times that is the reason for the maritime lessons.

Take the Land

In the Old Testament, Israel was commanded to take the physical land of Canaan and all the other lands the Lord was giving to them as their inheritance. Each tribe was given a section of land that was designated as theirs. They had to conquer kingdoms, fight giants, tear down walls and keep advancing in order to take the land that Yahweh was giving to them. The Lord even went as far as to say, wherever your foot treads, that land will be yours (Deuteronomy 11:24/Joshua 1:3). So, Israel marched in and took over land from other peoples who were enemies of Israel and were squatting on land that belonged to Israel, for the Psalmist tells us, “The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;” (Psalm 24:1, NIV). But when Jesus came to the earth, there was a significant change that took place, but that many, if not most have missed it.

In John 2, Jesus is having a discussion with some Jews after He turned over tables in the temple and this is what Jesus said, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.” They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?” But the temple he had spoken of was his body” (NIV). Jesus makes a significant shift in understanding from the temple being brick and mortar to the temple being His body, He now was the temple. Then Paul takes the thought one step further when he says, “Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God?” (1 Cor. 6:19, NLT). So, there is a shift that takes place from that which used to be outside of them to it being inside of them.

As New Testament believers everything that Israel obtained in the natural or outside of them, like land, like defeating of enemies, like building temples, all of these things are what the Lord has placed inside of us. Think about this for a minute, Jesus prayed in Matthew 6, “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”. Who is the earth Jesus is referencing? Paul says in 2 Corinthians 4:7 that we have this treasure in earthen vessels. Is it possible, Jesus was praying that the kingdom of God would advance inside of us, that God is seeking to take ground in our hearts, in our lives, not in the earth, but in people? Think about this for a minute, Christ in you is the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27), then from what direction is the Lord seeking to advance His kingdom, outside of you or inside of you? Where is your real battle, is it outside of you or inside of you? James says, “For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice” (James 3:16, NIV). James, Paul, Jesus all say that everything is inside of us.

The land the Lord is calling us to take is inside of us, not outside of us. The battles we face are not outside of us, they are inside of us and inside of others. The only way anything is outside of us is if it comes out of our mouths (Luke 6:45) or our actions. The fruit of the spirit is inside of you, the spirit of God is inside of you, the kingdom of God is inside of you. Everything you need is inside of you, but it all starts with you allowing the Lord to advance the kingdom of God within you. Many people are not successful, not effective, not because they have not had a door open, or an opportunity arise, but because they have resisted the advancing of the kingdom of God in you. 3 John 2 says, “May you prosper and be in good health, even as your soul prospers” (NIV). The land the Lord is trying to take is inside of you, so who controls how much land is taken, you do. Let Jesus, Take the land!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
