Wisdom the Architect

When life is more about legacy rather than about immediacy we can look at it historically, in reality and futuristically. As humanity we have the ability to see the past, present and future simultaneously and it is actually a remarkable gift we have been given.

The blinder that hinders our sight and the beauty of multi visual ability is pride. Pride says, everything is about this generation, this year, this week, my life, my money, my city, my church, my nation. Does God care about all of those things related to you, absolutely He does, but He is God and He has a macro view of things He wants to share with you.

When we gain a heart of wisdom, we will find a macro view that is so stunning, the micro view will lose its grip of fear, anxiety, doubt, worry, and every other negative emotion that seeks to keep us out of hope, joy and peace. The macro view is obtained through wisdom and wisdom is a builder.

Proverbs 9:1 says, “Wisdom has built her house.” Proverbs 24:3-4 says, “By wisdom a house is built and by understanding it is established; / through knowledge its rooms are filled with every precious and beautiful treasure. Proverbs 14:1 says, “Every wise woman builds her house, but a foolish one tears it down with her own hands.”

Wisdom is personified as female in scripture, not as a gender as a language and so is the church. She is the bride of Christ and she is called to be a builder. The macro view of what God is doing is a building project. It will not be completed in our generation, but we are given the privilege of partnering with God to build lives, build cities, build nations, build families, build companies, build communities, build churches.

We are seeing the manifesting of a building project under way led by the kingdom of God, not the destruction. The breach has been sealed, the foundation is being laid and the building project is well under way. Grab a hammer, strap on a tool belt, hop in a dump truck, because we are constructing a kingdom that knows no end. Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org
