Love is an all consuming word. Love embraces us and hold us close. Love protects us and keeps us safe. Love denies all others and lets us know we are the only one they want. Everyone is made to be loved, cherished, honored, respected. Is it any wonder love is the most attacked thing in the world? Is it any wonder love is the one reason, the root reason for every issue we face? Love is what we lack and love is what we crave.
To find what we want we must be willing to walk away from what we have been living in. Psalm 114 says, “When Israel went forth from Egypt, The house of Jacob from a people of strange language, Judah became His sanctuary, Israel, His dominion.” You may ask what does this have to do with love? I would answer everything. If we are not wiling to walk away from the beliefs we were born into, have experienced and the emotions that attach to those beliefs, we will never become a sanctuary of love, a land in which love rules us. You see love is not something outside of us, it is something inside of us.
1 John says, we love because He first loved us. People run from the lover of their souls and seek after a lover for their soul. We are seeking to obtain from people, what God has already provided for us. If we would leave Egypt (figuratively) we would then be able to cleave to Yahweh and we would become a sanctuary, a place where His love rules in us and through us. The kingdom of God is a culture of pure love. We don’t need a holiday in America to tell us it is a day of love, for we live in a kingdom of love.
Everyone wants, needs, is made to be loved and what the world needs is some people who know they are loved by God, so they can go and really love others. God is love! We who know God, know love, now we are called to go and love others how we have been loved by God. Happy Valentines Day friends.
Do you know how many “names” you have to get past in order to access “The Name” which is above all other names? Do you realize how many names are vying for your attention, everyday? Names carry power, they want recognition, they demand attention. Names of companies are seeking your money; names of celebrities are seeking your attention; names of leaders are wanting you to follow them; names, names, names, so many names. Not just on earth, but in the heavens as well.
Psalm 113 says “The LORD is high above all nations; His glory is above the heavens. Who is like the LORD our God, Who is enthroned on high, Who humbles Himself to behold The things that are in heaven and in the earth?”
The name of the Lord our God is the name above all names. His name is above the earth and the heavens, but to access that name, you have to push past all the other names. Many people preach and prophesy what they heard from a lesser name that they admire or listen to. But to access the Name of the LORD our God, you have to be willing to go beyond all the names vying for your attention and there are many.
The final name you have to go beyond is your own name. This is possibly the hardest name to deny, because it is you. Your name may be the very name that hinders you from accessing His name. No wonder Jesus said, unless you deny yourself you cannot follow Me. Our name is so important to us, we struggle to deny it in order to access another name. But once you deny even your own name, your own reputation, your own need to be seen, heard, etc. then you access what Paul describes as the name above all names. Once you access His name, no other name gets your primary focus, for HIs name is so life giving, so satisfying, you truly don’t want any other name to be glorified, not even your own.
It takes no effort at all to see what the wicked are doing; to find something evil to reveal; to speak about all the darkness around us. However, if you can push past the obvious to the truth of what God is doing you will see a whole other narrative getting louder and louder in the nations.
The word of God speaks in now time, but prophesy speaks of a time we are not currently in. This is why I do not like media prophets who claim God is saying something we can hear on the news. That is not prophesy. Prophesy sees what is coming in the future and speaks it out before it manifests in the natural. The kingdom of God is here, the good news is all around us and heaven has many things to say about it. Prophesy is hearing and speaking what God is saying, not what the media is wanting.
With that said, I was praying into Psalm 112 this morning and specifically these verses, “The righteous will be remembered forever. He will not fear evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD. His heart is upheld, he will not fear, Until he looks with satisfaction on his adversaries. He has given freely to the poor, His righteousness endures forever; His horn will be exalted in honor. The wicked will see it and be vexed, He will gnash his teeth and melt away; The desire of the wicked will perish.” With tears running down my face as I see a Father’s protection of His children who remain in righteousness, the Holy Spirit said, “The righteous do not retaliate against the wicked; the righteous demonstrate and the wicked see it and are vexed by what they see.”
When God honors and exalts the righteous the wicked are vexed. In the exaltation of the righteous the desire of the wicked perishes. The Holy Spirit is wanting us to know heaven is honoring the righteous and it is vexing the wicked. My friends, righteousness is exalting nations, wickedness is perishing, but you must look past the mud to find the gold. The tide has turned and everything is changing. The crossover may be turbulent but we are crossing over!!!!!
Do you believe in do-overs? Do you think it is possible that we are in a 2.0 season of the likes many do not even realize or recognize? I know there is a lot of fear of a negative do-over, but what if it is a circle back moment in which God is about to remember what He spoke four years ago? What if we are in a moment of National Jubilee with restitution pay for what happened to us in 2020? I am not one that usually speaks prophetically about sporting events, Johnny Enlow is more prolific in this arena than me, but four years ago the Lord spoke to me a prophetic word about the Super Bowl called National Jubilee. Well on this Super Bowl Sunday, we have the same two teams in the Super Bowl and I believe we are about to see a National Jubilee. Here is what I wrote four years ago.
Super Bowl 54…National Jubilee 1.20.20
Is it possible that God is speaking through a national sport to speak a national message to the nation of the United States of America? I believe He is; I believe God is decreeing over our nation: National Jubilee. As believers we are called to discern the times and the seasons (1 Chronicles 12:32/Luke 12:54-56); as we look at some of the details of the upcoming Super Bowl, can you see the decree God is making…National Jubilee.
The two teams in the Super Bowl are the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs. The Kansas City Chiefs have not gone to the Super Bowl in 50 years. Both 49 (ers) and 50 (years) are Jubilee numbers in the Bible (Leviticus 25:8-10). Jubilee is a time of debt cancellation, land restoration and family reconciliation. I see a National Jubilee.
The combined colors of the two teams are red, white, and gold. These colors speak to Jubilee as well with Isaiah 1:18 saying, “Come now, and let us reason together, says the LORD, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” This ties to the Day of Atonement in which the national sins of all of Israel was atoned for. The gold is a Jubilee color as well, for the 50-year anniversary is called the Golden Anniversary for married couples. The cities they represent is significant as well, for San Francisco is in the Northwest regions of the United States, Kansas City is in the Midwest region of the United States and Miami, where the Super Bowl is being played, is located in the Southeast region of the United States. This again speaks to a national word God is speaking, not one specific to a city, ministry or person.
It is Super Bowl 54 that is being played, Isaiah 54 is the chapter of this Super Bowl and there are so many prophetic thoughts in this chapter and very specific for those who have been waiting for God’s next move on planet earth. Here are a couple keys, I see in this chapter as it relates to National Jubilee: Shout for joy; enlarge; stretch out; spare not; lengthen and strengthen; for you will possess nations and resettle desolate cities; your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, who is called the God of all the earth; with great compassion I will gather you; in righteousness you will be established; no weapon that is formed against you will prosper; your vindication is from Me declares the Lord. National Jubilee!
A few more things, the Super Bowl is being played on 2/2/2020 that is Isaiah 22:22 which says, “I will set the key of the house of David on his shoulder, when he opens no one will shut, when he shuts no one will open.” This governmental key was given to Jesus for National Jubilee and I see Him opening debt cancellation, land restoration and family reconciliation in our nation.
Finally, the late prophet Bob Jones said to Shawn Bolz, more than 10 times, according to Shawn Bolz, “When the Kansas City Chiefs go to the Super Bowl and win it, you will know that it will be a sign of the upcoming and end time revival. He explained that God is raising up His chiefs to be apostolic leaders in many spheres of influence.” Johnny Enlow, Lance Wallnau and many others have spoke about the 7 mountains and how God is going to bring the gospel of the kingdom into the 7 mountains of culture with this next revival, so for me, this is just another confirmation of a National Jubilee.
Whoever wins the Super Bowl will bring great joy to that city, but I believe this Super Bowl is not about one city getting the victory, but about God decreeing National Jubilee, so the who nation gets free!
We are now on 2/11/2024 and the Super Bowl is being played in Las Vegas and it is Super Bowl 58. So there are some number differences from the prophetic word above. Not to mention the stadium they are playing in is called the Death Star, which is a Star Wars name. So much to say about these things, but will wait. But notwithstanding I still believe we are in a National Jubilee and we are about to see debt cancellation, land restoration and family reconciliation because as I have said so many times, Babylon is falling! There comes a moment in time when everything changes. It is in these moments that we must shift permanently to the new location we have stepped into. It is a shut the door and don’t look back moment. When God shut Noah and the others in the ark there was no going back. When you get locked into that roller coaster and it starts to move, there is no getting out. These moments catch us by surprise at times and others have been preparing us for many years, but there is always a moment when everything changes.
Today is the first of Adar, in a leap year on both the Hebrew and Gregorian calendars. This month is so significant for many reasons and I will share those in future blogs. Today though on this first of Adar, I always read the book of Esther for this month. As I am reading Esther 4 today, these verses capture my heart. “Mordecai sent her this message: Don’t think that just because you live in the king’s house you’re the one Jew who will get out of this alive. If you persist in staying silent at a time like this, help and deliverance will arrive for the Jews from someplace else; but you and your family will be wiped out. Who knows Maybe you were made queen for just such a time as this. Esther sent back her answer to Mordecai: Go and get all the Jews living in Susa together. Fast for me. Don’t eat or drink for three days, either day or night. I and my maids will fast with you. If you will do this, I’ll go to the king, even though it’s forbidden. If I die, I die. Mordecai left and carried out Esther’s instructions.”
It is at this moment that when Esther went from obeying the orders of Mordecai to Mordecai obeying the orders of Esther. Esther went in one moment from being an orphan that was adopted to being a queen that was positioned to rule. Can you see it? Once Esther realized who she was because of Mordecai’s statement about being born for such a time as this, she stepped into being queen. WE MUST MAKE THIS SHIFT. Yes we were orphans, but we have been adopted, but that is not the end, we have to shift to being royalty so we can rule, save lives and redeem land. It is time to leap into our role as royalty for we were born for such a time as this.
There is a phrase reverberating in the spirit realm and it is setting a standard in the atmosphere for all who have ears to hear. The Lord of Hosts, Yahweh Sabaoth, the God of angel armies is declaring “Slay and Filet!” We have been told and taught how to slay giants, as stated in 1 Samuel 17. David chose to face the Philistine named Goliath with simple weapons, for he knew the battle was not against flesh and blood but against a narrative that was paralyzing the earthly army of God (Israel). Therefore David took shepherds weapons a sling and some stones, but the real war was won in his declaration.
1 Samuel 17 “This day the LORD will deliver you up into my hands, and I will strike you down and remove your head from you. And I will give the dead bodies of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the sky and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel, and that all this assembly may know that the LORD does not deliver by sword or by spear; for the battle is the LORD’S and He will give you into our hands.”
David was sent to slay the giant called Goliath. Slaying is only one part of what God is doing in this hour. He is not just going to slay the giants in our land, the giant narratives. He is going to filet them. Numbers 14 speaks to this idea of filleting, when it says, “If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, a land flowing with milk and honey. Only do not rebel against the Lord, neither fear the people of the land, for they are bread for us. Their defense and the shadow [of protection] is removed from over them, but the Lord is with us. Fear them not.”
The Lord God Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth has declared war, not on the church, not on people, but on the powers, principalities and rulers which have created a narrative of death and destruction, oppression and fear. The days of cowering in fear are finished, the giants in our land are being defeated, heads are rolling, because God is not only slaying, but filleting our enemies. Fear not my friends, Yahweh, Lord Sabaoth is on the scene to slay and filet every narrative that is injuring His creation. Stand and see the salvation of our God (Exodus 14).
Words are seeds, our hearts are soil, from before we took our first breath the soil of our hearts was receiving seeds of words. Psalm 139 tells us God formed us, fashioned us in our mothers womb. He made us in His likeness and His image is what Genesis 1:26-27 tells us. He only seeded us with words of life, hope, joy, peace, and built in us the infrastructure to receive and transmit the kingdom of God on earth. The challenge is there are other seeds that were and continue to be sown into us. Words that are weeds and they are wreaking havoc on the garden of God in our hearts.
The words that the enemy sowed in us have been so deeply buried. We see, feel and hear the effects of them but we have no idea where they are coming from or how to uproot them. In many cases they are so familiar to us we do not even recognize them as weeds, so we protect them, nurture them and even call them part of our garden. We don’t do this maliciously or consicously, but others who try to de-weed us see them for what they are and want to remove them, but we resist them unintentionally. John 15 calls the Father a Gardner and He is a Master Gardner, who has people on earth working with Him to help us de-weed the words that are ruining the garden of our hearts.
We are living in a time of Hosea 10:12 “Sow with a view to righteousness, Reap in accordance with kindness; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the LORD Until He comes to rain righteousness on you.” People are coming into our Iives with a plow that has love written all over it. They are tilling the soil of our hearts in a way that has never been done before. Clods of dirt are being removed, weeds are being bundled and burned, everything is being overturned so we can produce fragrances and fruit in a way we never have before. I don’t have words for it yet, but I see it happening in so many people and if it hasn’t happened to you yet, it will. God is doing such a deep work in us at such a rapid pace, we must just let it happen. What we have been doing hasn’t been working, so God has taken the reigns and He is leading us into life in a way we have never known before. He loves us so much more than we know because the weeds have lied to us.
Have you ever read your Bible and did an honest assessment of your self in regards to who you really are in the passage? If we read the book of Proverbs there is an obvious demarcation between the wicked and the righteous, but do we read the attributes of the wicked and say, that’s me and falls on our face in repentance? Or if we hear the words of Jesus say, “You offspring of vipers! How can you speak good things when you are evil (wicked)? For out of the fullness (the overflow, the superabundance) of the heart the mouth speaks. The good man from his inner good treasureflings forth good things, and the evil man out of his inner evil storehouseflings forth evil things” (Matthew 12:34-35 – AMP). How many of us actually listen to what comes out of our mouth more than we remember what comes out of someone else’s mouth?
I was praying for a friend this morning, who is in Israel right now, and the Holy Spirit said to me, “Pray for her to experience a kingdom expression in her heart, so a kingdom expansion can come out of her mouth.” I prayed that for her and I prayed that for me and I prayed that for us as the body of Christ. We need a kingdom expression in our hearts or we will never have a kingdom expansion come out of our mouths. I want to expand the kingdom of God and it expands not by building another church, having another title or by winning the lottery. The kingdom increases or decreases based on what comes out of my mouth, your mouth, our mouth corporately.
The challenge is so clearly identified, “Jesus called the people to Him and said to them, Listen and grasp and comprehend this: It is not what goes into the mouth of a man that makes him unclean and defiled, but what comes out of the mouth; this makes a man unclean and defiles [him]” (Matthew 15:10-11 – AMP). Many are very diligent about what goes in their mouth, but they are not paying attention to what is coming out of their mouth. Friends, the Lord wants a kingdom expression in our hearts, so kingdom expansion can come out of our mouth. Let us examine ourselves so we can be healed and advance the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.
What you look at is what you see. So simple, yet so profound. We speak from what we see, we see what we look at. I was speaking to a man yesterday who is writing a novel in order to help veterans overcome the darkness they have seen in war. He explained to me how this novel is going to shine light into the dark places of these men’s hearts, who are held captive to hopelessness. Veterans have seen some dark things of the likes they cannot even explain and this man is shining light in the darkness.
My conversation with him made me realize again, how what we see is what we say. When you’re seeing darkness in people’s lives, in the world and in the news, it is easy to speak what you see. But what if we were not called to speak what we see in the world, but what we see in the Word? There is so much to see in the Word, but it must trump what you see in the world. Here is what Isaiah 6 saw and what the seraphim say. “In the year of King Uzziah’s death I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple. Seraphim stood above Him, each having six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one called out to another and said, Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts, The whole earth is full of His glory.”
Isaiah could have focused on the death of the king, but he saw the King of kings and spoke about Him. The seraphim when they saw the Lord they said, “The earth is full of His glory!” Not the earth is full of death, darkness, gloom and doom, but full of the glory of God. Friends, we must say what God is saying, what the angels are seeing. The earth is full of glory, even Habakkuk 2:14 agrees “For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, As the waters cover the sea.” Glory is light not darkness; is life not death; is hope not fear. I see the Lord and He is the Light of the world, so I see a future so bright we have got to wear our shades.
Stark contrast; obvious demarcation; distinct difference; when something becomes so clear you cannot deny what you see, these are some of the phrases we use to describe it. I spent 9 hours with a large group of people all day Saturday at The Send in Nashville, TN. It was one worship set after another with a little bit of speaking in between. What I saw and heard was what God is doing in the body of Christ on a level I did not see before the event. There is a generation on the earth right now that is mature beyond their years, not indoctrinated with the theologies of men, but are enamored by the presence and power of God.
Leaders who are working with youth and young adults are preaching the gospel of the kingdom, they are training, equipping and deploying, they are apostolic in their revelation of Jesus Christ, they are prophetic in their words of life and they are pointing these students away from the platform and to the person of Jesus Christ. It was refreshing, exciting and relieving to hear Francis Chan say, “If I read the word of God only and your bored, that is your issue not mine, for the word of God is living and active, sharper than two edged sword and only the word of God can change your life.” Or to hear Martin Smith say, “A depressed anxious generation does not need another ballad, they need a song to dance to.”
The kingdom of God is here, it is not coming, it is here. I saw it, I heard it when I was at The Send. If one generation that has been taught everything is getting darker will not receive the good news of the kingdom on earth as it is in heaven, another one will. We have a group of people on the earth who are preaching the kingdom, not the news. They are calling for a generation to dance not mourn. There is such an obvious two message system in the church and the way to discern which you are listening to, is to look at the fruit of the message. Fear based messages produce anxiety, panic and preppers, while faith, life and light based messages produce confidence, boldness, hope and joy. The kingdom is here and we were born for such a time as this. Did you feel the mountains tremble? Did you hear the singers roar? As the lost began to sing of Jesus Christ our risen Lord.
