The King Is Among Us

I’m praying Psalm 47 this morning and the phrase, THE KING IS AMONG US, is ringing in my spirit. I kept saying it over and over, THE KING IS AMONG US. We don’t need to wait for the month when the king is in the field, for THE KING IS AMONG US. The Holy Spirit then said to me, it’s a song, so I look up the words THE KING IS AMONG US. Little did I know Elevation Worship does this song. Here are the lyrics…

“The King Is Among Us”

All our fathers saw
In the days of old
Would you do it again
Do it again
All the stories told
All the miracles
Would you do it again
Do it again

You said “Consecrate yourselves to me
And you will see amazing things”

We need Your revival
Holy Spirit fire
Burning ever brighter
In our souls
Kings and kingdoms falling
Hear your people calling
King of Kings we need a miracle

There’s a time to sow
And a time to reap
Would you do it again
Do it again
There’s a time to heal
And a time to build
Would you do it again
Do it again

You said “Consecrate yourselves to me
And you will see amazing things”

We need Your revival
Holy Spirit fire
Burning ever brighter
In our souls
Kings and kingdoms falling
Hear your people calling
King of Kings we need a miracle

The King is among us
And His glory surrounds us
And His fire is falling as we sing
The Savior is for us
And His love is victorious
And revival is rising in His name

This song may not be new to you, but it’s the words God blew on this morning for me and I believe it’s a song for us right now. THE KING IS AMONG US! Have a great Sunday friends.

New Theology

The Lord is breaking the theology of death and destruction off His church and bringing them into a theology of life and abundance. This change will be difficult for some to make because they were trained in the theology of death and destruction. Jesus said it this way, “No one, after drinking old wine wishes for new; for he says, ‘The old is good enough!” (Luke 5:39). But those who can make the change will find untold blessings and opportunities arise. This theological change is imperative for the new era.

When Jesus was headed toward Jerusalem with His disciples, a village would not receive them, so two disciples said, “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them?” (Luke 9:54). The theology of death and destruction is obvious here, but may not be as obvious to those who believe wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes, famines, fire, you name it is the precursor to a “rapture” of certain people so others are “left behind” to suffer. Jesus would say to all with a theology of death and destruction, the same thing He said to those two disciples, “But He turned and rebuked them, and said, “You do not know what kind of spirit you are of.” (Luke 9:55).

Jesus doesn’t rebuke, correct or seek to transform us to hurt us, embarrass us or shame us, but to reveal to us what we’ve been taught that is not allowed to come into the new era, the new day. He also doesn’t just tell us what is out of alignment, He shares the way to think to be in alignment. “For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them. And they went on to another village.” (Luke 9:56). This is the theology of life that is going to permeate Christian literature, sermons, movies, and every other form of communication. The kingdom of God is a kingdom of life and abundance not death and destruction. Welcome to the new day. Welcome to life abundantly!

Anointing Needed

One of the desires that many in the body of Christ have is to be anointed. Some people want to be anointed to preach, others want to be anointed for miracles, some want the anointing of power, and others want to be anointed to get wealth. There’s a lot of talk in the charismatic church about mantles And how people desire the mantle of this person that died or that prophet that once was. When we step back and listen to the things that we say as a charismatic church, much of it is for personal gain, rather than for the glory of God.

The desire to be anointed is not a wrong desire, however knowing how to be anointed, is what most people don’t understand. Remember when the disciples wanted to know who was the greatest? Jesus didn’t rebuke them for wanting to be great, he explained to them how to become the greatest. Jesus said if you want to be great become the servant of all. So the idea of what you want is not necessarily wrong, but knowing how to obtain it is where most of us have no clue.

Reading Psalm 45 this morning and praying into this the Lord began to show me an anointing that very few people ask for, but every one of us should desire. Not only is this anointing identified but it shows us how to obtain it listen to Psalm 45:7 “You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;

Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of joy above Your fellows.” anointed with the oil of joy.” The way to become anointed with the oil of joy according to the Psalmist is to love righteousness and hate wickedness. Joy is not something you can purchase, it is something that comes from consistently loving righteousness and hating every form of wickedness. I believe what we need to be anointed with above all others is the oil of joy. May you desire this anointing for it is identifiable, to both believers and unbelievers alike because it is so rare on most peoples lives.

It’s Fallen

The Babylonian system is fueled by the flesh of men. Flesh never says enough, it’s like the leech in Proverbs 30:15 that cries give, give. The flesh loves the idea of more. As Babylon falls many in the flesh are going to struggle because their confidence is in their flesh, their life is built upon flesh. Every area of Society has established itself in a codependent relationship called a flesh fest with Babylon. This includes the church.

As the Babylonian system comes crashing down, the flesh is going to freak out for all the flesh knows is Babylon. But what people don’t know is that in the shadow of Babylon, the Lord was building His kingdom. As this looming Babylonian system falls all will see the kingdom God has been building. A kingdom of light will shine in the dark dust of Babylon‘s collapse and people will run to the light for safety, but what they’ll find is rest for their soul.

Babylon is falling and there will be casualties of war, for some will not rise out of the ashes of Babylon. However, most will shake the dust of Babylon off and run straight into the kingdom of God that has been being built in Babylon’s shadow. Everything is about to change for the better as the system of Babylon comes down and the kingdom of God manifests on earth as it is in heaven. For those that have ears to hear. It’s not the end, it’s only the beginning.

Revelation 18:1-3 “After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illumined with his glory. And he cried out with a mighty voice, saying, “ Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place of demons and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hateful bird. For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the passion of her immorality, and the kings of the earth have committed acts of immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich by the wealth of her sensuality.”

What Do You See?

Have you ever considered that how you perceive a situation tells you how you see? You knowing how you see is important because if the way you see things is off, you can make adjustments to how you see.

In Luke 9 there is a crowd of people who were listening to Jesus outside of town and it was dinner time. The disciples and Jesus recognized the need but they had two different perspectives on the situation. The disciples saw a waste place and a lack of food; Jesus saw spiritually hungry people and an abundance of fish and bread.

Two very different perspectives. The disciples saw lack and Jesus saw abundance. Abundance has nothing to do with amount, it has everything to do with perspective. When you can see abundance and know you have access to it, you will neither be intimidated by or impressed by little or a lot. This freedom is priceless. Next time you observe something pay attention to your perspective and adjust accordingly.

Luke 9:12-17 “Now the day [e]was ending, and the twelve came up and said to Him, “Dismiss the crowd, so that they may go into the surrounding villages and countryside and find lodging and get something to eat; because here, we are in a secluded place.” But He said to them, “You give them something to eat!” But they said, “We have no more than five loaves and two fish, unless perhaps we go and buy food for all these people.” (For there were about five thousand men.) But He said to His disciples, “Have them recline to eat in groups of about fifty each.” They did so, and had them all recline. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and, looking up to heaven, He blessed them and broke them, and gave them to the disciples again and again, to serve the crowd. And they all ate and were satisfied; and the broken pieces which they had left over were picked up, twelve baskets full.”

Biblical Preppers

How biblically prepared are you for a natural or national storm? Did you know God calls us to be “preppers”? I’m sure you’ve heard of those who buy food, have water, keep certain supplies on hand in case a natural or national storm hits. Well, yesterday while reading the Lord showed me what kingdom “preppers” do to be ready. I was smiling as God used this “preppers” language with me.

The Lord showed me that obedience is the foundation of what God is building. If there is no obedience, there is no foundation. If there is no foundation, there is no stability in storms. Obedience is storm preparation. Therefore a kingdom prepper is someone who obeys the voice and the word of God, even when they see no visible manifestation of what they are building or a storm that may be coming. Obedience is how a Christian is to prep.

Luke 6:46-49 ““Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and acts on them, I will show you whom he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built. But the one who has heard and has not acted accordingly, is like a man who built a house on the ground without any foundation; and the torrent burst against it and immediately it collapsed, and the ruin of that house was great.”

It’s Going To Be A Wild Ride

There will come a day when prophesy meets reality. When that day comes hang on tight for you will be in for the ride of your life. God is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19). Imagine Sarah when she found out she was pregnant? Imagine Elizabeth when she found out she was pregnant? Imagine Joseph the day Pharoh called for him? Imagine Esther when the king picked her? God didn’t speak it to you to taunt you, He spoke it to you so you would get ready. Preparation feels foolish when there’s no evidence of what God said, but imagine Noah when it began to rain? Or Elisha when Elijah went up in a whirlwind and the mantle fell down. It’s happening again in our generation, I sure hope your ready, because it’s going to be a wild ride with the Holy Spirit and us. My hands are already up, let’s go!

Measurements

What standard of measure do you use? Are you a spoons size person; a cup size person; quart; gallon; barrel; tanker? The measurements keep going until you reach abundance size measurements. The reason I bring this up is because Jesus says in Luke 6:38 “ give and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure —- pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.“

We love the idea of a good measure pressed down shaken together and running over but we have to understand we are giving back to based on what we give out. What measurement are you using when you serve others, when you love others, when you forgive others, when you honor others? The injustice that most of us don’t recognize is that we expect more than we give, we expect people to serve us more than we’ve served others. The other challenge is, we will not reap until due season, therefore we have to keep giving, serving, loving, forgiving, honoring even when we don’t see a return. Because if you’re measurement is abundance that’s a lot of giving.

All I know is that if we keep doing good as the Lord had told us to do, even if you don’t see a return immediately, you will see it eventually according to the measure that you have measured it out. As for me and my house or measurement is abundance.

New Day

The Lord highlighted this morning the new day that is dawning. He had me look at the sun rising and said, “The sun of righteousness is rising with healing in its wings.” I knew that was a scripture, so looked it up and found it in Malachi 4:2. This new day that is breaking is coming with various kinds of healing. It will be a part of the new day not just a healing revival. The new day is multifaceted, but healing is paramount because “sick” people can’t hear God. Therefore, the Lord told me, “The healing is going to restore their hearing.”

The dawning of the new day is also going to deal with the wicked for there is about to be a land transfer from the wicked to the humble. Malachi 4:3 says, “You will tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the souls of your feet on the day which I am preparing, says the Lord of hosts.” Psalm 37:10-11 says, “Yet a little while and the wicked man will be no more;

And you will look carefully for his place and he will not be there. But the humble will inherit the land And will delight themselves in abundant prosperity.” This new day healing the people and healing the land. It’s going to be an amazing day!

Next Class of Leaders

I see a class of leaders arising who will not make God small so people can understand Him. They will make people big so they have the capacity to comprehend God. As these leaders continue to magnify the Lord in His holiness, righteousness, faithfulness, and lovingkindness, the people will mature into the majesty of God.

These leaders will live with open hands and open hearts for they have seen the eternal God and they know their temporal understanding is incomplete. They don’t lock into one message, one idea, one revelation, one destination. They swim in the deep waters of God’s river and let his current carry them wherever it will. They trust God, God knows them, and together they move with the rhythm of his roar.

Psalm 36:8 “They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; And You give them to drink of the river of Your delights.”
