Deborah is headed onto the battlefield today and though we know the victory is secure we still must pray. When you pray knowing the outcome, your prayers sound more like praise, like thanksgiving, like worship. Worship routes the enemy and is just more evidence of victory. Pray for our Deborah today and as you cry out for your own needs remember the battle is already won so your prayers can sound more like worship than worrying.
Judges 4:4-5 “Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, was judging Israel at that time. She used to sit under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim; and the sons of Israel came up to her for judgment.”
2 Chronicles 20:22 “At the very moment they began to sing and give praise, the LORD caused the armies of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir to start fighting among themselves.”
