It’s harvest time! The wheat and chaff have grown together (Matthew 13:30); they have been gathered together and brought onto the threshing floor together. Jesus is holding His threshing fork (Matthew 3:12). The wheat and the chaff, the righteous and the wicked are all on the threshing floor together right now. How do we know, you hear it all around you the sound of the chaff is in your ear all day everyday lately. You wonder why you can’t escape it’s voice, now you know for we are all together on the threshing floor. The wheat and the chaff are not separated until the wind blows. but once the wind blows, the chaff is separated from the wheat.
Psalm 1:3-4 says, “That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers. Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away.” The wind is about to blow and then the sound of the chaff will be no more. Chaff in Hebrew is oppressor, extortioner, squeezer. You hear the voice of the chaff now, but as we pray, as we decree let the wind blow, the chaff will be no more. Decree with me…LET THE WIND BLOW!
John 3:8 “The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
