Zero Tolerance

What we tolerate will dominate. This is why God destroys our enemies. What actually are the enemies God destroys and wants us to destroy? Our enemies are sins of the mouth: words, pride, curses, and lies. We have a common enemy with God and they are not to be tolerated but destroyed. The destruction of these enemies in us and around us reveals that God rules in us, through us and around us. Don’t tolerate the enemies in you or they will dominate in you and through you.

Psalm 59:12-13 “On account of the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips, Let them even be caught in their pride, And on account of curses and lies which they utter. Destroy them in wrath, destroy them that they may be no more; That men may know that God rules in Jacob To the ends of the earth. Selah.”

Isaiah had the same enemies “Then I said, Woe is me, for I am ruined!

Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I live among a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal in his hand, which he had taken from the altar with tongs. He touched my mouth with it and said, “Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away and your sin is forgiven.” (Isaiah 6:5-6). It’s a common enemy for us all and must be destroyed so God can rule in the midst of us.

James said it this way, “the tongue is a small part of the body, and yet it boasts of great things. See how great a forest is set aflame by such a small fire! And the tongue is a fire, the very world of iniquity; the tongue is set among our members as that which defiles the entire body, and sets on fire the course of our life, and is set on fire by hell.” (James 3:5-6). And in conclusion I want to quote Toby Mac who says it so succinctly…”SPEAK LIFE!” This is how we hear the evidence of God’s rule in your life.
