Rumbling Then Roar

I hear a stirring in the den, the days of hibernation are nearing their end. I sense movement among the lions and lionesses as they are ready to arise from their long winter. Prepare yourself the best you can, for the sound of the roar that will come from these lions and lionesses will be merged into one with the sound coming from the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. The sound will be one we have longed for but have not been able to find. Like the Shunamite woman in Song of Solomon, her heart was longing for the one she loved, but her companions were told “Do not awaken love before it desires.” There is a timing on the release of the roar.

The days of hibernation for these ones is fast approaching their end, I can hear the yawns, I can see the stretching, I can sense the movement. No they have not emerged just yet, but oh it is ever so near. Closer than we even realize. This was all by design, this brought great delight to the Lord of Hosts to have them hidden, “For it is to the glory of God to conceal a matter” (Proverbs 25:2). It shall bring Him even more pleasure when they release their sound, for the roar of these lions and lionesses will not be individual, will not be one or the other, it is going to be a merging of their roars, a symphony of sound. It will be heard by the nations and at the front of this sound will be the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, for He always goes first. Can you see it, can you sense it, can you begin to hear way in the distance the sound that is going to come in like roar? I can.

“For now is the time, my beautiful one. The season has changed, the bondage of your barren winter has ended, and the season of hiding is over and gone. The rains have soaked the earth and left it bright with blossoming flowers. The season for singing and pruning the vines has arrived. I hear the cooing of doves in our land, filling the air with songs to awaken you

and guide you forth. Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, “There is change in the air.” (S o S 2:11-13).
