It is overcast, warm, and a gentle mist is falling on my face as I walk my dog this morning and the Holy Spirit starts speaking to me saying, “Whether it’s Dom Perignon or Boone’s, the vessel/bottle does not take credit for what is inside, but the vessel/bottle does identity what is inside.” Immediately my spirt went to 2 Corinthians 4, which says, “For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves.”
The thoughts continued as I kept walking, kept listening, “You can have great packaging but the product inside is not of the quality or caliber that the packaging is projecting.” The Holy Spirit was showing me that people know who we are by what’s inside of us, so when we come walking in the room they know what they are going to get. That’s why people who don’t know who you are can be surprised, either for the good or the perplexing, by what comes out of you. Some people have better quality inside than they manifest outside, others have better manifested quality outside than what they have inside. People tend to be surprised by us.
If we are a vessel of beauty and prosperity that is projected but what comes out of our mouth is not of the same caliber of grace we are manifesting in how we look, it is surprising to people, because they wonder how did you become what we see based on what we hear. Then their are others who do not project all the glitz and glamor, but they carry a product that is undeniably desirable. My friends, we are vessels that carry the Name, power, presence and Words of God Almighty, people know we are Christians, let’s align our mouth with Who lives inside of us. Then people will know when we walk in the room, good news just came in the room.
