Last night I heard in my spirit “Smoke Alarm” then almost simultaneously to hearing those words I hear a smoke alarm beeping and I jolt out of bed with heart pounding. As soon as I am awake the sound stops. I thought was that in my sleep I heard the alarm or in reality. The time was 2:12am. I go back to sleep and at 2:47am I wake up again to the sound of the smoke alarm going off again. I wake up and as soon as I do, the sound stops. This time I check the whole house to see if there is something happening, all is calm, all is clear in the house. I lay back down and I know this is prophetic, so I start to ask the Lord what is He saying. Silence. I check my Ipad for any news, I check my phone for any messages, nothing. So, I go back to sleep.

I knew the smoke alarm going off was prophetic, but what did it mean I was not sure, so I start with the time, 2:12 and I look up what 212 means and the first thing I learn is, 212 degrees is the boiling point for water in which steam is released, steam so powerful it powers machines. Noted. Then I look up verses for 2:12 and consistently throughout the OT prophets 2:12 is a verse about God’s anger toward His enemies. Next it is time to check Strong’s number 212 and in the Hebrew it means wheel (Exodus 14:25) and in the Greek it means boastful. Research reveals revelation. Now I am shaking, trembling, listening with the fear of the Lord on me and the Lord says, Joel 2:1-2 (212). “Blow the trumpet in Zion, sound the alarm on my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the Lord is coming, surely it is near.”

Yesterday the Lord told me Song of Songs 2:12 “The time has arrived for the pruning of the vines.” I wrote my blog yesterday about the time for us to sing is now, despite what we see on the news. Now last night the Lord says, “Smoke Alarm” and it goes off at 2:12am. I believe the Lord is dealing with our enemies as we speak. I believe the smoke of God’s glory is setting off alarms in the spirit to warn God’s enemies that their time is up. The enemies of God are being dealt with and that is why He is calling us to sing, for He is chopping off their control; removing their influence; destroying their plans. This is a time of rejoicing for us, not a time to be afraid. The smoke alarm is to tell us two things, the glory of God is filling the temple, which is the people of God and the enemies of God are being consumed by the fire of God.

The alarm is going off to wake people up, but once their awake the alarm will stop. They will look for something harmful, thinking that is what the alarm is going off for, but just like I found nothing to cause fear, so will we when we wake up after hearing the alarm. Our natural response to an alarm is fear, but not all alarms are to scare us, some are to wake us up for a new day is upon us. The smoke of God’s glory is here, this my friends is why we are called to sing not fear!

All morning long, I have been hearing the word pruning. I even had an image of God with pruning shears in His hand. But the verse that accompanied it did not seem to carry the idea of being cut back, but of coming out. I have been wrestling this out in prayer and study this morning and then the voice of God broke through and said, “It is time for singing!”

Song of Solomon 2:11-14 “The winter is past, The rain is over and gone. The flowers have already appeared in the land; The time has arrived for pruning the vines, and the voice of the turtledove has been heard in our land. The fig tree has ripened its figs; the vines in blossom have given forth their fragrance. Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, come along! O my dove, in the clefts of the rock; in the secret place of the steep pathway; let me see your form; let me hear your voice; For your voice is sweet; your form is lovely.”

The days of being hidden, the days of being locked down, the days of being undercover are over, it is time to come out of hiding and the first command is to sing. Pruning in this verse is synonymous with singing and is better translated as such based on context. Abundance is all around and singing is the natural response to abundance. The winter rains, that kept us indoors have given way to abundance and when we see it we sing. I know it doesn’t look abundant if you watch the news, I know the narrative of the nation is recession, but the report of heaven is abundance. Who’s report are you going to believe?

If we will believe the report of the Lord we will sing, for the time of singing is here. The winter is past, the rains are gone, its time to come out of hiding and sing for you are standing in more abundance than you can see in the natural right now. I am telling you sing, sing, sing to the Lord for everything in the natural is about to be abundant in ways you would have never imagined. The pruning shears in God’s hands are cutting off the head of the enemy so we can sing!

As I was praying Psalm 63 this morning, the very last line of the chapter struck my spirit and immediately tears fell down my face. “For the mouths of those who speak lies will be stopped.” If I could sum up in one verse what I desire for the nations, it would be Psalm 63:11. It is not a verse we memorize, preach or even talk about, it is not one of the common verses we share with each other, but it is a verse that is going to transform the nations. Psalm 63:11, “The king will rejoice in God; Everyone who swears by Him will glory, For the mouths of those who speak lies will be stopped.” The king in this verse is David and this chapter is about seeking God in a dry and weary land where there is no water.

The Lord showed me that debt, depression, distress, loneliness, anxiety, fear, anger, violence, all the negative emotions we deal with are because of the lies spoken over the nations. Lies create droughts in our soul and what we do out of dryness is usually negative. We know Jesus said, Satan is the father of lies, so it is nothing new to realize these are all the work of the enemy. But when the word tells me THE MOUTHS OF THOSE WHO SPEAK LIES WILL BE STOPPED, tears fall down my face, because I know that is the answer we need. We need the lies to stop. Those who have access to amplify their voice are spewing lies continually with no regard for how it is destroying people’s lives. Then we as friends argue because some know the truth while others only know the lies.

I feel the heart of God on this today and He is declaring to us the mouths of those who speak lies will be stopped. I know it is hard to believe, for we have only lived with the narrative of lies in the atmospher, but I see a narrative shift coming of cosmic proportion. I was at lunch with a friend yesterday and even though it was hard for her to grasp all the good news I was sharing with her at the end she said, you are speaking a much better outcome than we are being told. It’s not my opinion, it’s God’s word. He said, the mouths of those who speak lies will be stopped. I am declaring what God is saying. We are about to experience what Jesus promised, life and life abundantly.

Last night and then again this morning there was a foreboding familiar spirit seeking to disrupt the peace. For two weeks now there has been atmospheric interference coming with voices which have been defeated. I sense as we enter fully into this new season, old voices are trying to tag along and attach themselves to us in order to come with us into this new season. Resist them, shake them off, do not let them attach to you as barnacles, they cannot come into the new season, they must remain dead on the wilderness floor.

On this day, 8/2/2022, the Lord said, “I am giving you (all) a new (8) key (2222) of access to express the kingdom of God inside of you (all).” In prayer this is what the Lord showed me and when I was done praying, I opened to Isaiah 22:22 which says, “Then I will set the key of the house of David on his shoulder, When he opens no one will shut, When he shuts no one will open.” This is the OT partner to the Matthew 16:19 NT verse “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.” Both scriptures are in the context of authority (key) being removed from one and given to another. In Isaiah 22, the key was being removed from Shebnah and given to Eliakim; in Matthew 16, the key was being removed from the religious leaders and given to the apostles. Same key, new leader.

I see the keys of access to power and authority being removed off of the shoulder of one person and given to another. There are going to be many transfers of power taking place in every mountain of society. The Lord is removing the key from the shoulder of those who oppress and giving it to those who liberate; it is being removed from those who control and given to those who steward; it is being removed from those who hurt to those who help. We are about to see a major transfer of power and authority and the key of access is being given to those who will express the kingdom of God inside of them in order to liberate the people around them.

Manifestations are evidence of the new season we have entered into. Some are more obvious than others, but they are everywhere and it is so refreshing to be living in a new day. Every season, every epoch has its joys and challenges. Each is unique and necessary as we move through the annals of time from glory to glory. This new season is ear marked with distinctions that are no longer blurred. Wickedness is obvious, righteousness is revealed and there is no middle ground any longer. This is a gift from God we need to be grateful for, as it gives us understanding into where we stand and where others have chosen to stand. For some it is very uncomfortable, they feel exposed, for others it is joyful for they finally sense they are being revealed. The Bible is clear, sin loves to hide in the shadows under the cover of darkness, but life loves to live in the light and shine brightly for all to see. The seeds of both sin and righteousness have sprouted.

With this being our reality, conviction is going to be an experience that is restored, for truth speakers are not ashamed of the truth any longer. How people respond to conviction will be telling to both the person who is being convicted and the one who spoke the truth that brought conviction. Acts 5:30-33 says, “The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you had put to death by hanging Him on a cross. He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, to grant repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. And we are witnesses of these things; and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him. But when they heard this, they were cut to the quick and intended to kill them.” When people are convicted by truth, they will respond in one of two ways, they will repent and return to the Lord or they will resent the one who spoke the truth to them. This will reveal their heart. The truth speakers must not take this personally, for if they do they will become silent and we need truth speakers to speak and keep on speaking. For only the truth is going to set people free.

The season has changed, truth is going to be the narrative of the nations. The response to this truth is going to be obvious, but the reponses will be different, just like what Peter and the apostles experienced. Truth is not going to be silent, because some people get violent when convicted. Truth will continue to pour down like torrential rain for the drought is over! The only question is, how will you respond when you hear the truth that is coming to set you, your family, your city, your nation free?

Intellectual accent; theological strength; and titles that come with completion of a course; is identifiable by others who are swimming in the same waters called the doctrines of men. Pharisees in Jesus’ day recognized fellow Pharisees. Sadducees understood each other, for they had the same doctrine of no resurrection. But when some men, who used to be fishermen, tax collectors, or fig tree sitters, came to Jerusalem and starting healing the sick, the religious elite stood up and took notice. They were not taught how to heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons or cleanse the leper in their theological institutions. They were taught hermenutics, exegesis, and literary analysis. This blew their rational minds, how could this be. They had the big titles, the paychecks, the temple, but they did not have the power of God.

It amazes me how the Bible can be so crystal clear in its articulation of truth and yet, we can be completely unaware of truth that sets us free. Acts 4 says, “Now as they (religious leaders) observed the confidence of Peter and John and understood that they were uneducated and untrained men, they were amazed, and began to recognize them as having been with Jesus.” Peter and John were not trained in their seminaries, bible schools or discipleship programs, but they had been with Jesus. Being with Jesus, following Jesus, fellowshiping with Jesus, learning from Jesus, transforms you into a new creation. This change was obvious to the religious leaders. They knew these men were different, for they didn’t argue theology they manifested power; they demonstrated grace; they spoke the truth in love.

We get to decide who we are going to be. As for me, I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back, no turning back!

Last night I met with a group of powerful prophetic women. We gathered in someone’s house and shared what God is speaking to us. It was the start of many more meetings like that one. However, what struck me was how one woman who is visiting from California said, I see in this room “builders” who are going to release a “sound”. Those two words, builders and sound stuck with me through the night. This morning I was reading Acts 2 in our all church reading plan and it says in v. 6 “And when this sound occurred, the crowd came together, and were bewildered because each one of them was hearing them speak in his own language.”

I have been meditating on this verse and the words, builders and sound, all morning long. I sense the Lord is looking for a variety of voices, who are all building the kingdom of God. I see these voices coming together to amplify the message of the gospel of kingdom and as they do, the crowd is going to come together because of the sound they are hearing. The sound will cause people to be bewildered, because it will not be one voice speaking one language, but a variety of languages releasing one sound.

The language of the apostle is different than the prophet, the language of the evangelist is different than the teacher, the language of the pastor is different than the apostle, the language of the corporation is different than the congregation and the language of the woman is different than the man. So many different languages, but one sound! The sound is not hindered by the different languages, the different languages actually draw a diversity of people, but the sound is God. His language may come through differently depending on who you are, but His sound is the same. Our job as believers is not to have the same language, but to have the same sound. I hear a sound like a mighty rushing wind coming into the nations declaring the gospel of the kingdom and I see the crowds gathering because they heard the sound in their language. We don’t have to speak the same language but we do have to release the same sound.

June 4-6, 2022 was Pentecost in the Hebrew Year 5782. Since those days, we have been in a Pentecost season in the spirit. God has been cleansing the nations with a baptism of fire. The heat is on and people are feeling it in a variety of ways. John said about Jesus in Matthew 3 that He would baptize us in the Holy Spirit and in fire, but he also said, Jesus had a winnowing fork in His hand to separate the wheat from the chaff. This is a direct connection to Malachi 4 which speaks of all the evil doers and arrogant that are chaff who are uprooted from the land. This is all Pentecost language and this is where we are right now in the spirit. We are undergoing a baptism of fire for the removing of all the chaff personally, corporately, nationally and internationally. If it feels hot, its because He is burning up all that is not needed for the next season…Tabernacles.

I was reading Acts 1 today and Luke says, Jesus gathered them together and commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father promised them (John 16), which He said, “You heard of from Me; for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with he Holy Spirit not many days from now.” Within 10 days the fire of God fell in the upper room and baptized them with fire. Fire is both power and purification. We are in a baptism of fire right now. God is both releasing His power and He is purifying us in preparation for Rosh Hashannah 5783, which is in September 2022.

Isaiah 4 is a great description of where we are and what this fire baptism is producing right now. Remember since June 4-6, 2022, Roe v. Wade was overturned, now hear Isaiah 4 “It will come about that he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy—everyone who is recorded for life in Jerusalem. When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and purged the bloodshed of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and the spirit of burning, then the LORD will create over the whole area of Mount Zion and over her assemblies a cloud by day, even smoke, and the brightness of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory will be a canopy. There will be a shelter to give shade from the heat by day, and refuge and protection from the storm and the rain.” The spirit of burning and judgment is preparation for the glory. We are going to look back and praise God for the baptism of fire when this is all said and done.

There is room for you and your gift in the kingdom of God. You don’t need to push and shove others out of their position to find yours. The kingdom of God is wide open spaces that are holy places, it is not a building. Buildings have limited space, but the kingdom is wide open space. We have been taught that worth comes from a position in a building, but in the kingdom worth comes from knowing the King. When you know the king, you don’t need a title to function in your gifting, for you realize there is an abundance of everything in the kingdom, and the Lord says, “function, for the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.”

1 Chronicles 27 inspired this thought when it said, “Jonathan, David’s uncle, was a counselor, a man of understanding, and a scribe; and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni tutored the king’s sons. Ahithophel was counselor to the king; and Hushai the Archite was the king’s friend. Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar succeeded Ahithophel; and Joab was the commander of the king’s army.” I love how they each had a function they operated in and it does not sound like they were in competition with each other. No position was greater than the other, but each was needed.

Religion has made certain positions seem more important than others to us as believers, but in the kingdom, that is not the case. We all function by design and we are all to honor one another, celebrate one another and recognize as the Apostle Paul said, if we were all an eye where would the sense of hearing be. We all have a role to play in the kingdom. One function is not better than the other, for the kingdom of God is a body not a building. There is no need to think your better than another, for you are just doing something other than another. My friends, your gift, your calling, your function is for the kingdom, not the building. We need you!

Jesus said, “Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand.” He wasn’t asking religious Jews to repent of some heinous sin they were involved in, for that was not their issue. He was telling them to repent of their religious ideas for the kingdom of God was at hand. When our culture is religious, we do not even realize how religious we are until we hear the gospel of the kingdom. The kingdom of God is not another way of saying salvation, church or some other religious term, the kingdom of God is its own culture; it’s a whole new way to think, operate and process; it is a person; it is a system of government like we have never known before. The kingdom of God is nothing like religion.

Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand. This is the call Jesus gave in His day and this is the message from heaven right now. Change the way you think, the kingdom of God is at hand. We are hearing people say the words the kingdom of God but they are not changing they way they think. The kingdom of God is not heirarchal, that is a change in thinking. The kingdom of God is made up of children who are teachable not know it alls, that is a change of thinking. The kingdom of God is love and truth, not knowledge and tolerance, that is a different way of thinking. The kingdom of God is a person not a building, that is a different way of thinking. Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand. It is not coming soon, it is breaking into the earth realm right now, just like it did when Jesus was baptized in the Jordan river. It is among us right now. Repent so you don’t miss it.

The gospel of salvation is all about the cross, it is preaching salvation to saved people. The kingdom of God is truth that sets you free, it is an invitation into abundant life. It is coming through the narrow gate, the cross, and coming into wide open spaces that are holy places. We can build new buildings, put different names on television, change the songs we sing or the light colors we use, but none of that is a manifestation of the kingdom. The kingdom of God is seen and heard in what comes out of your mouth. Jesus spoke not as the religious leaders but as one who had authority and everyone marveled at His gracious words. The kingdom is at hand, repent!
