Victory Parade

I was praying Psalm 21 this morning and I saw a victory parade being revealed across the nation. Jesus was the first car in the parade for He is our victory, He is the triumphant One. He was standing up waving and smiling. The floats that followed were all revealing victory testimonies of what Jesus has done in their life that most knew nothing about. Each car/float testified to the victory Jesus gave them.

This parade was full of life, light, victory, triumph, praise and celebration. The people watching on both side were in awe of all the victories people have had. They went from surprise to joy for they had only been hearing about what the enemy was doing with the many prayer requests, news reports and struggles. To see this victory parade and to hear the stories the floats were communicating of victory brought hope and restored joy to them.

I see a victory parade being revealed and all who see it will rejoice. Who knows someone you know may be in that parade declaring victories over battles you didn’t know they fought.

Psalm 21:1-7 “The king rejoices in your strength, LORD.

How great is his joy in the victories you give!

You have granted him his heart’s desire

and have not withheld the request of his lips.

You came to greet him with rich blessings

and placed a crown of pure gold on his head.

He asked you for life, and you gave it to him—

length of days, for ever and ever.

Through the victories you gave, his glory is great;

you have bestowed on him splendor and majesty.

Surely you have granted him unending blessings

and made him glad with the joy of your presence.

For the king trusts in the LORD;

through the unfailing love of the Most High

he will not be shaken.”
