“Worship is my warfare; my praise is a weapon!” – Catherine Mullins
Instead of wielding a sword, we sing a song of praise to our God. Instead of engaging in a battle with another person, we are to worship our King. When this is what we do our emotions are re-calibrated, then our response is not destructive.
Worship is our warfare; praise is our weapon. When we worship and praise, the Lord turns the battle from flesh against flesh to putting the enemy between us under our feet. “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.” (2 Corinthians 10:3-4).
Worship is our warfare; praise is our weapon. Instead of shouting at someone, lift up your voice and sing. Instead of lifting your hand to someone, lift up the flags and begin to twirl. Instead of signing those papers, put pen to paper and write a song to the Lord.
Jesus has already defeated everyone of our enemies, and that enemy is not the person next to you. But now you must put those invisible enemies under your feet and the way to do it is to remember worship is your warfare and praise is your weapon. It’s time that we as believers start using worship and praise in warfare. Arise Judah arise!
