We are always asking God to remove our enemies, but God is saying, “Rule in the midst of your enemies.” We want to be removed from our enemies or have God remove our enemies from us, but God wants us to rule. It’s time for us to rule in the midst of our enemies and stop asking to be removed. Gods desire for us is that we would rule. Rule means to dominate, to have dominion, to prevail, to tread down, to subjugate, to scrape out.
The word of God from Genesis to Revelation calls us to rule in the midst of our enemies. It’s time that we take our royal place and authority as kings and priests and we begin to rule over the enemies of our soul. It is high time to rule over anxiety, fear, depression, intimidation, insecurity, arrogance, pride, jealousy, competition, addictions, immorality, trauma, and any other enemy of your soul. If you want to see your enemies removed from you then you must rule over your enemies. Jesus died on the cross and rose again from the dead and then gave you the authority to rule over your enemies. Wear the authority Jesus gave you and rule over your enemies with the scepter of truth. We as the body of Christ need over-comers to rule in the midst of their enemies.
Psalm 110:1-2 “The LORD says to my Lord: Sit at My right hand Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet. The LORD will stretch forth Your strong scepter from Zion, saying, Rule in the midst of Your enemies.”
