The other day I had an open vision in which I saw a court room scene. The first thing the Lord spoke to me was “most people have no idea the court is in session, that is why they are not acting as though they are in a court room.” As I looked around the court room I noticed the people were clueless as to the room the Lord had placed them in. Next I saw the Lord seated as Judge and He was rendering verdicts. I said to the Lord, these people do not think they have done anything wrong because they are not committing blatant sins. I said very few are committing adultery, murdering, stealing, or acting immoral. They have no idea why you are seated as a Judge because they don’t think they have sinned. What is it that they have done? The Lord responded to me ever so clearly, “Their sin is that they are doing things their own way not My way, I Am Yahweh.”

As I stood there in that court room setting with a spirit of reverence resting on me, I looked at the Lord as Judge and realized we don’t think that when we do it our way or when we just do our own thing that it is a sin that God is judging.  I have sat on this vision for a few days now because I like to wait for the Lord to reveal the scripture that confirms what I saw so that I know it was Him. Then this morning as I’m reading Hosea 10, the Holy Spirit nudged me that this is the corresponding scripture. We need to repent for doing things our way. The court is in session and God is seated as Judge.

Hosea 10:12-13 “Sow with a view to righteousness,
Reap in accordance with kindness; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the LORD Until He comes to rain righteousness on you. You have plowed wickedness, you have reaped injustice, You have eaten the fruit of lies. Because you have trusted in your way, in your numerous warriors.”
