Mystery Meets Reality

Biblical prophets like Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Amos, Isaiah, Zechariah spoke words in a mystery of which many people in their day did not understand what they were saying. They, like us, believed their prophetic words were for their day and age, but little did they know the mystery that was hidden in their prophesies. Prophetic words that God gives to share with us about what is coming, are a mystery to the hearer and the speaker. We think it means one thing, but when time converges with the prophetic word, delay is broken and the mystery is revealed.

The Bible says, “The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Revelation 19:10. What that means is, the prophets of the Old Testament prophesied the Messiah in ways they did not even realize they were doing. In Isaiah 9 Isaiah named his son Immanuel not realizing this would be the name of the son of God, the Messiah. When Jesus manifested Himself as Immanuel, God with us, the spirit of Isaiah’s prophecy became the testimony of Jesus. Remember the book of Revelation is the revelation, the revealing of Jesus the Christ (Revelation 1).

We are living in a biblical narrative that is a mystery, Revelation 17 even calls it mystery Babylon. Mystery means we don’t understand it all upon speaking it or hearing it, but when time converges with the prophetic words God has been speaking, Revelation 10:6-7 happens, “There will be delay no longer, the mystery of God is finished, as He preached to His servants the prophets.” The end of the mystery is the revealing. My friends, we are about to see a revealing that will surprise us and awaken us to the revelation of Jesus Christ. This is not the rapture, this is the new era and what you are going to see and hear because fallen, fallen, Babylon has fallen is going to blow your natural mind. Don’t try to figure it out, just be still and know that He is God! For we are about to see in living color the salvation of our God.
