Posture Change

A shift in the spirit has taken place, we are no longer waiting for something to take place, we are now postured to watch what is taking place. The days of waiting are over and the days of watching have begun.

Watching is a different posture from waiting. Watching is a more readied postition, it is more active in it’s posture, with watching comes a sense of anticipation. Waiting is more casual, relaxed, preparatory. Waiting is not passive, it is just not the same posture as watching.

We are being invited to switch our posture from waiting to watching, for many things are about to be made visible that were once invisible. What was happening underground is about to manifest above ground, henceforth that need for a posture change. What I am seeing is a runner who is doing stretches, tying their shoes, adjusting their clothes all in preperation for the race to a position of readying themselves in their blocks, kicking their legs out before setting it in the launching mechanism. We are in a watching posture now in the spirit.

The story the in scripture the Lord gave me is of Elijah’s servant who was told to go to the sea and look and he came back six different times and told Elijah he saw nothing, Elijah was in a waiting posture, but the servant was in a watching posture. Many of us have gone to look for the heavy rain only to find no sign of it, because it has been a waiting posture we have been in. But the Lord is saying, “You have moved from waiting to watching. Change your posture.”

Watching has a different posture in the spirit. We are no longer waiting, we are now invited into the posture of watching.

God Is Above The Fog Of War

The scroll you eat will be the words you speak!

Living in historic days, transitional days, unprecedented days makes it very challenging to know what to believe. You have those who are eating the scrolls of history and finding mystery, while others are eating the scrolls of history and are speaking destruction and war. Others are eating the scrolls of Prophet Kim Clement and Q and are trying to discern the nuances of their words. Still others are clueless to any of it and are eating the scrolls of a stretched out garment called the nightly news and still believe they are telling truth. When you are in a psychological war, it is very difficult to discern what are we to believe. Every area of life has been infiltrated with twisting of truth. How do we break through the fog of an information war?

Some have chosen to preach the rapture, escapism as the answer to all they see. This is not the scroll we are called to eat, but still people eat it and they proclaim it and people hang on to it because they are lost in this war of words. Others are choosing to do nothing, just wait out the war and see where the chips fall. Then there are those who think they know more than they do so they proclaim things they “decode”, “discern” or heard from another person and it sounded legit. Fog of war is real, psychological warfare is tough, and many are fighting for our victory the best way they know how.

When you step back from it all and look at it from a distance it changes your perspective. You see the war happening, you know we are living in days that are unprecedented, you sense something good is coming, but the reality of inflation, climate agendas, political deception, announcements for President and threats of war are all around. It can be confusing, it can be nerve racking, but it can also be exhilarating, because God has not changed, He is still sitting on His throne and He is still completely involved in the affairs of men. Remember, He sits in heaven and laughs at the plans of men and women. Remember, we are seated with Him in heavenly places, so we should not be under the fog of war but above it laughing at the enemies plan for destruction, when the Lord is planning restoration of all things.

The scroll of the kingdom blood print reveals the truth of what is coming once the fog lifts and it is going to be better than you could imagine. But you must lift up your eyes to see where your help comes from, it comes from the Lord not from DC, not from the DS, not from the East or the West, it comes from the Lord and He has a history of rescuing nations out of the hands of oppressive rulers. If He can bring Israel out of Pharoh’s hands He can deliver the nations out of the deep states hands. If He can use one stone in David’s sling to take out the giant named Goliath, He can deal with Klaus Schwab or Anthony Fauci. If He can use Esther to deliver her people from Haman and his 10 sons, He can use whoever He wants to deliver us from the puppet masters. My friends, remember God’s track record, it will lift you out of the fog of war and allow you to enjoy your friends and family as we enter Thanksgiving week!

Two Pillars

Have you ever felt intimidated? Maybe it was by someone’s personality, their physical build, their wealth, their title. Maybe it was a building that intimidated you. Intimidation is a real feeling and the enemy uses it to make us feel small, when Christ in us is the biggest thing going for us. It is amazing how we can look at something or someone and be intimidated by what we see or what we hear. It is like the enemy knows how to push our buttons. It is just another way he seeks to devalue the truth in us that we are made in the image of God, we are endured with the power of God and we are filled with the Spirit of God. There is no one more powerful than Yahweh, the Almighty God.

I was reading Jeremiah 52 and it was describing Solomon’s temple he built for the Lord and from what I have read the temple of the Lord would have been intimidating. It was built to be large, to show authority and power, but this verse struck me, “King Solomon had made for the house of the LORD—the bronze of all these vessels was beyond weight. As for the pillars, the height of each pillar was eighteen cubits, and it was twelve cubits in circumference and four fingers in thickness, and hollow.” The size of these pillars would have been huge, similar to the Supreme Court pillars in the USA or the Greek temple pillars in Athens, Greece at the Parthenon. Large, looming, intimidating. But the Bible says, these gigantic pillars were hollow. They looked huge, powerful, intimidating, but they were hollow.

Hollow in the Hebrew means foolish, vain, empty, idiot. There are other pillars in scripture though as well in Proverbs 9, “Wisdom has built her house, She has hewn out her seven pillars; She has prepared her food, she has mixed her wine; She has also set her table; She has sent out her maidens, she calls Whoever is naive, let him turn in here!” To him who lacks understanding she says, Come, eat of my food And drink of the wine I have mixed. Forsake your folly and live And proceed in the way of understanding.”

Two pillars, one is hollow and one is hewn (carved, cut out, engraved), one is called foolish, the other wisdom. Both pillars, one is intimidating because it is hollow, the other is hewn (solid marble) and it is inviting. Tap on the pillar when you find yourself intimidated by it, you might find it is nothing to fear for it is hollow and then add yourself to the pillars that are hewn for there is room at their table for you.

Fear Not!

For you that have the blood of Jesus running through your veins because you have been born again, not of the will of man but of the will of God. For you blood bought saints of God, fear not! I will say it again, fear not! The vindication of God is not against you, it is for you. God is vindicating His people, He is delivering His family, He is restoring His nations. The Lord is not coming to harm you, destroy you or punish you, He is coming to deal with the sons of His ancient enemies. The sons of Egypt and the sons of Babylon are being dealt with by the Lord.

I was reading in Jeremiah 52 this morning and Jehoiachin, after 37 years of Babylonian exile is restored on the 25th day of Adar. That date stuck out to me, so I began some research on it and it led me to the Torah reading fo that day, long story short, this is a nod to the Passover in Exodus 12. So I get to the Passover story and the Lord says, “This is what I am doing in your day!” Exodus 12 “For I will go through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments—I am the LORD. The blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you live; and when I see the blood I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.” God is executing judgment against the gods of Egypt and Babylon again, He is vindicating His people both Jews and Gentiles who have the blood of Jesus running through their veins. My friends, there is nothing to fear, the judgement is here but it is not judgement for you, it is judgment on the gods of Egypt and Babylon.

This is reason to rejoice, to celebrate, to smile, to lift up your heads so you can see your help is on the way. The Lord has seen what our task masters have done to us, He has not igonored the injustices that have occurred, He is fully aware of more than we are even aware of and He is vindicating His nations. I heard someone say the other day, the battle has been won we are just waiting for the revealed victory parade. Shalom my friends, shalom, the Lord is fighting for us not against us!

National Restoration

I lived in Malaysia for over 6 years before I came back to the United States for a visit home. Spending that many years in another nation changes the way you view things. What you see day to day truly is your perspective, and that perspective changes when what you see day to day changes. When I came home to visit, one of the most shocking things for me was the number of choices of cereal in the grocery store here in America. Now remember, I am an American, but being gone for 6 years changed what I looked at daily. In Malaysia the grocery stores are much smaller and the options are few. We may have had 5 cereal options, so when I got home and there was 50 plus to choose from, it was overwhelming to me. I literally stood in that cereal aisle overwhelmed by all the options being presented just in that one aisle.

The Lord reminded me of this today as He dropped in my spirit Proverbs 29:18, “If people can’t see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed.” The Holy Spirit made it clear, the Lord is not saying one thing to one person and another thing to another person, corporately, nationally. When God speaks about a nation, there is one message He is sending, not many. People get confused, people don’t know what God is doing when multiple voices are saying multiple things. Most things God says to people are personal not national.

As Americans we love having lots of options, but lots of options are not always good, because then we lack a national identity and understanding about what God is going with us as a nation. The fear of being controlled has produced individualism on a level that is destroying us. The one tactic of our national enemy is to divide us so we stay individual and do not become corporate. This goes for church, state and nation. The answer to division is a vision that brings us together into a national identity as a people. Yet again, Solomon was right when he said, “If people can’t see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed.” God is going to reveal what He has been doing and this will unite us like nothing else could. Voices that only speak what God is saying will keep us united, we are about to be restored in a major way!

Stewarding Our Hearts

I am reading Proverbs 15 this morning and I cannot get away from this verse, “All the days of the afflicted are bad, But a cheerful heart has a continual feast.” Selah. Our heart is our responsibility. How we choose to process situations, experiences or circumstances will affect our heart. How can I go to Mexico and meet some of the most fun, joyful, welcoming people in North America, but then I go to a wealthy neighborhood in the USA and they are distant, cold, and uninterested? It has nothing to do with being rich or poor, Mexican or American, it is about our view of life. It has nothing to do with economic status or country of birth it has to do with stewarding our heart.

I love how the Bible, especially the book of Proverbs is an invitation to identification. When you locate yourself honestly in a passage, if you don’t like what you see about yourself in what you read, then you have the power to change it. I know people who live afflicted lives because all the days are bad to them. Do they know this about themselves? If they read this verse and were honest with themselves they might. But I know others who have a cheerful heart, no matter their circumstances and they live with a continual feast. They are always generous with their words, time, actions, and their money. Only you know if you walk around like “Eyeore” and feel like all your days are bad or if you are like “Winnie the Pooh”, where everyday is a continual feast. The choice is yours.

Proverbs 15:30 says, “Bright eyes gladden the heart; Good news puts fat on the bones.” Jesus said in Matthew 6:21-23 “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness.” We get to choose whether we are having bad days or feast days, for even circumstantial bad days can become feast days if you can find the good news in them. Come on friends, even Eyeore cracks a smile when with Pooh and Tigger.

The Battle Doesn’t Stop Because The Holidays Begin

Immediately as I was just starting to wake up this morning, I knew I was in an intelligence briefing room and I heard what was being said in this briefing. Here is what I heard, “Church we are in a war of the likes we have never known before. We need both air and ground attacks to happen simultaneously for the enemy is deeply entrenched but is being dislodged.” I knew this was a military strategy intelligence briefing for the ekklesia. As I thought about what I was hearing, i knew it was a call to step up the intercession for both air and land warriors. Then the verse that came to my spirit was 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.”

The battle we are in uses the flesh but it is not fleshly, it is a spiritual war. The enemies we are fighting are not human, they are spirits, they are voices, they are not human. We are in a battle of spiritual warfare of the the likes that only the ekklesia can wage war in. This is not an ideological war, it is a spiritual war with an ancient serpent and his seed. Therefore, we must be dressed for battle, Ephesians 6:11-14 “Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.”

The world is headed into the “holiday season” and the Lord is calling us into a posture of war. The world and the church can be lost in the festivities but the ekklesia is being briefed on the battle. The ekklesia is not going into a holiday season, we are headed into another level of warfare for the nations. We as the ekklesia cannot succumb to the “holiday spirit” for we are in the midst of a war for the nations. We cannot let our guard down, for the battle does not recognize earthy holidays. For those who have ears to hear.

Processed Into A Partnership

I don’t know what God spoke to you years ago that has still not come to pass. I don’t know what you have gone through that looks contrary to what God spoke to you. But this I do know, Isaiah told us how God works, “Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other;

I am God, and there is no one like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning,

And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’; Calling a bird of prey from the east, The man of My purpose from a far country. Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass. I have planned it, surely I will do it” (Isaiah 46:9-11). My friends, God starts with the finished product, shows us what it will look like, then He brings us back to the start and says, “Will you follow Me?” The Lord shows us where we are going then brings us to the starting line, so we can begin the journey.

Can you remember what God spoke to you about who you are going to be? Maybe it was a childhood memory, maybe it was a youth camp moment, maybe it was a coffee talk with God as a young adult, maybe it was more recent than that. But somewhere in your history, God showed you who you are going to be. I remember the day, the place and the person God used to show me who I was going to be. It was my 25 year anniversary as a Christian, but if I was honest I saw a glimpse of it when I was actually 25 years old, but that never panned out, so the Lord upgraded it and made it clear in 2014. Little did I know the next 8 years to date were going to not look anything like what He told me in 2014. Can I get a witness?

The reason is, because God was showing you, showing me the end from the beginning. If we said yes to what we saw, if we accepted the call He showed us, the process began to get us where He showed us we would be. Oh friends, it has been a process, a refining process, but we are looking more and more like Him the longer we are in the process. But the process is not for process sake, it has a product that God is going to manifest, a partnership people will see between us and God. He showed you the end from the beginning. You saw the end, not the start, keep going, there is an end, you have seen it and the end is what keeps you moving through the process.

Abundance In Famine

The rain is falling here in Middle Tennessee this morning, and watching the drops land in puddles on the ground from my window is so relaxing. Morning rains keep the room dim and keeps the inhabitants of the house sleeping. This provides a very quiet morning for prayer, reading and true enjoyment of God’s presence. The other day the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, “The person you spend the most time with is the person you talk about the most.” People have asked me how to do write a blog everyday? The answer is, it is not hard to talk about the person I spend the most time with.

Other people have felt like I pour out so much, I need time for “me”. I don’t do “me” time, because I do life with God and others, so it is always “we” time even when I am alone. God and me is a we and I don’t want it any other way. He is so present in every moment of the day, and since He lives in me, it is always “we” time, never “me” time.

This morning, rain falling, thoughts dancing in my spirit, word of God living and active, I was reading Proverbs 11 and it says, “The generous man will be prosperous, And he who waters will himself be watered.” As I read that the Lord said, “You want to know how to stay alive in a famine, in inflation, in high gas prices, in challenging times for your nation? Be generous on all occasions and in every way, for you will never run out and you will never run dry.” The world tells us to hoard, hold back, conserve, prices are high, supply is low, and we don’t know where this thing is going to go. But the Lord says, “My children, you will only dry out if you stop pouring out, you will only dry up if you clam up, shut up, button up your mouth and your money.” This is not the time to hold back, for it is always time to be generous in the kingdom of God. This is how we prosper in a famine.

Crushing Insecurity and Arrogance

Carol King sang a song I am hearing in the spirit, I hear the words, “I feel the earth move under my feet; I feel the sky tumbling down; I feel my heart start to trembling whenever you’re around.” Shifting, moving, rumbling, it is not a sound I am hearing but a stirring I am feeling. He is near not to punish, not to shame, not to condemn, He is near to deliver, to save, to set free, I can feel it, He is so so near. God doesn’t manifest in the earth realm to put on a show, He comes on a mission. When He manifested through Moses in Egypt, He came to deliver a nation out of bondage; when He manifested through Joshua, Gideon and Deborah, it was to defeat their enemies; when He manifested on earth in Jesus it was to destroy the works of the devil (Acts 10:38). The manifestion of God is alway for a purpose not for a party.

As the sound of His footsteps is drawing closer to us here on earth, as the earth is beginning to shake beneath our feet, one thing we must know, is that He is coming to be glorified in us and through us. Now for this to happen, He need us to be confident in who He has made us to be. Why? Because confidence is evidence that it is not about you. Insecure people and arrogant people, who are two sides of the same coin, always talk about themselves, want things to be about them, because they don’t know who they are, so they need constant affirmation. But those who are confident in who God is and who God made them to be, don’t make self the number one subject. John who was confident and said, “He must ncrease, but I must decrease” (John 3:30).

Church, we have been taught to be weak, we have been told dying to self means you have no voice, but the Lord would say, the key to dying to self is confidence in God and confidence in who God has called you to be. When you are confident you are thinking about others, seeking out the good in others. Confidence is going to be a hallmark when the Lord manifests, which is why we will not be using the move of God to entertain people, but we will ALL do the work of the ministry which is to set the captives free. Confidence is key because confidence crushes insecurity and arrogance.
