COURT IS IN SESSION

It was right before sunrise yesterday, Resurrection Sunday morning, and I hear as I am waking up, “COURT IS IN SESSSION”. I keep hearing the phrase “COURT IS IN SESSION”. It was like I saw it as a sign on the door of a courtroom, but I heard it loud and clear. I thought what an odd word to receive on Resurrection Sunday, it did not feel like it fit the day, so I sat on it all day yesterday. Little did I know, it was a Resurrection word.

“COURT IS IN SESSION” is not a direct quote in scripture, but the idea of it is obvious, predominantly in Daniel 7:21-22 “I kept looking, and that horn was waging war with the saints and overpowering them until the Ancient of Days came and judgment was passed in favor of the saints of the Highest One, and the time arrived when the saints took possession of the kingdom.” When I read this, I knew God was passing judgment on the ruling system that as been overpowering us. When the Judge of all the earth is saying “COURT IS NOW IN SESSION”, He is telling us, He is rendering a verdict against our enemy and for us. We are about to be recompensed for pain and suffering.

Daniel 7:26-27 says, “The court will sit for judgment, and his dominion will be taken away, annihilated and destroyed forever. Then the sovereignty, the dominion and the greatness of all the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the saints of the Highest One; His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all the dominions will serve and obey Him.” The church has put this kind of language in the sweet bye and bye, but Jesus said, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. God is bringing His kingdom to earth. The COURT IS IN SESSION.

Now to stamp this with the possible reason why God spoke this on Resurrection Sunday can be found in Romans 8:31-33 “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies; who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.” My friends, COURT IS IN SESSION and God the Judge, Jesus the Advocate and Holy Spirit the Communicator is rendering a verdict on behalf of the saints. Everything is about to change.
