Are You Astounded

LOOK AGAIN AND KEEP ON LOOKING

We have presets in our mind that cause us to see the preset, so to really see what God is trying to show us, we must look again and keep on looking if we are going to see what He is trying to show us.

We read in 1 Corinthians 2:9 “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” We must look again, for we have yet to see what God has in store for us. He so loved the world, He loves us, and He has something for us we have not seen yet.

The prophet Habakkuk opens his prophecy by speaking of a burden he saw. The burden he saw was violence, iniquity,, trouble, plundering, strife and contention. This is what he as a prophet saw, which is why he was carrying a burden, but Yahweh told him to look again and to keep on looking.

Habakkuk 1:5 “Look among the nations and watch— Be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days Which you would not believe, though it were told you.”

Watchmen who look at only see the burden are being invited to look again. The Lord was not showing the prophet the burden he was already carrying, that he had already seen. He was being invited to look again and to keep on looking until he saw something astounding. He was to look for the work God was doing in the nations.

What was going to astound the prophet, Habukkuk 2:14 tells us “The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” He was to look again and keep on looking until He saw the glory of God over the nations.

Watchmen, Intercessors, friends we are being invited to be astounded not afraid. Look again and keep on looking until you see the glory of God rising over the nations. It is a glory you will not be able to deny and it will astound you, but you must push past the presets in your mind to see what God is trying to astound you with. Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org
