Two Washcloths

I was walking the dog this morning and on my path I found two white washcloths. We live on a private road, but there is enough traffic with a church at the bottom of the hill, apartments across the street and another neighborhood next to ours. So finding things on this road is common for me, but it has been awhile, so when I saw these two white washcloths I picked them up and headed home.

As I was walking home, pondering my latest find, the Holy Spirit whispered to me in regards to the washcloths, “Washed white as snow.” I knew this was a nod to Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord, though your sins be as scarlet, they will be white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they will be like wool.”

What I learned about this verse is referring to God taking Israel as a nation to court, seeking reconciliation with them as a nation. This struck me, for I have read those verses as an individual not as a nation. These verses are about national cleansing and temple restoration. It is a connection to Yom Kippur.

Chat GPT said, “Two white washcloths, prophetically speaks of witness, completion or two dimensions of cleansing, it is heaven and earth agreeing. (Deuteronomy 19:5). On Yom Kippur, the High Priest would enter the Holy of Holies dressed in simple white linen, symbolizing humility and cleansing. After the atonement ritual, Israel waited for the scarlet thread tied outside the Temple to turn white — a sign from heaven that God had accepted their repentance (Isaiah 1:18’s imagery directly echoes this ritual). Your finding of two white washcloths is like a quiet echo of that — a visible token of accepted cleansing and a renewed invitation to intimacy with God’s presence.”

I sense finding these two white washcloths is God declaring national atonement and temple restoration. With all the words of staking our claim, connecting heaven and earth in 5786; Communion America happening this week in Washington; and today starting Feast of Tabernacles; I believe we have been given a clean slate and now we write a new story of God’s glory. Wow, what a morning. Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org

Deliverance Of Nations

The world is on the hunt for the new currency as they fear the fall of the old Babylonian financial system. Many people are trying to invest in what they think is the new incoming system, so they can capitalize financially on what may manifest in the very near future.

People are willing to research, risk and retreat all for money, but where are the people who are not heroes at financial predictions, or market analysis, but who are able to see the invisible because they have faith in an unseen God? Where are the men and women who are risking it all to follow Him no matter the personal cost to them?

Reading Hebrews 11 is sobering, because we love to talk like we are Joseph, Esther, Moses, Deborah, David, Samuel, Jael, or Solomon, but to be Iike them, we have to do what they did. Our identity with someone in history is not about a hope, but about an actually walking the way they walked with God.

Listen to what Hebrews 11:27 says about Moses, “He found his true wealth in suffering abuse for being anointed, more than in anything the world could offer him, for his eyes looked with wonder not on the immediate, but on the ultimate—faith’s great reward!”

If we are going to be apart of a deliverance company of nations, as Moses was, we must be willing to not suffer for being anointed. We must long not to be rich and famous, but to be faithful in all our ways. We can’t be moved by what we see in the moment, but we must have eyes to see the light shining in the darkness.

God is delivering the nations by the prayers and prophetic acts of those who people don’t see, don’t know by name. They are the Navy Seals, Green Berets, 82nd Airborne in the spirit and they have been and continue to take ground for the kingdom of God on earth. Faith sees what the news does not announce. Can you see the deliverance of nations happening right now? It’s never too late to join in. Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org

Cultural Battle

Cultural Christianity is not equal to Biblical Christianity. Every culture has certain modes of operation and if we are born into that culture we do not recognize in ourselves how cultural we actually are. When we fully enter, not just visit or vacation, in another culture, but actually live there, we realize how cultural we are and how cultural they are.

When I moved to Malaysia in August 2004, the first three months, was vacation, it was fun, adventurous, everything was new, I loved it. So when God spoke to me to move there, I came back to the US in December 2004, packed my room, notified my housemates and off I went to live in another country.

After living there for nine years, I realized many things about myself and about the nation of Malaysia. My frustrations came from culture clashes, for America did not fit into Malaysian culture and Malaysian culture was not conforming to American me. One of us had to submit, if we were going to live peacefully together.

I chose to live in their culture, so I surrendered to the way they did things, rather than fighting with them, because they were not American in their return policies, offering of water for free while eating out, or whatever other cultural challenge I faced.

The same is true in Biblical Christianity. We as believers, no matter our cultural background, have tried to get Biblical culture to fit into our culture and it will not conform to us, we must submit to it, for us to live peacefully in the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.

Proverbs 3:11 says, “My child, when the Lord God speaks to you, never take his words lightly!”

When we submit to God’s culture, kingdom and Word, we will find ourselves loving life everyday, living abundantly and forgiving quickly and freely. Friends, your battle is not demonic, it is cultural and until you submit to Biblical culture, your cultural Christianity will try to force God’s hand and He is not changing, for He is God and we are not. Conform to Him it is so peaceful. Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org

Shaky People

The Lord is upgrading so many things we have been taught and accepted as truth. He is not upgrading them to shame us, but to bring us into a fuller understanding of what is truth. We think we know the truth, but our truth is partial not complete, so we must be willing to receive the upgrades as they come in from the throne of God.

The Lord spoke to me yesterday an upgrade out of Hebrews 12, which says, “See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape who turn away from Him who warns from heaven. And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, “YET ONCE MORE I WILL SHAKE NOT ONLY THE EARTH, BUT ALSO THE HEAVEN.” This expression, “Yet once more,” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.”

We often speak of the shaking that is removing things, but the Lord showed me yesterday that only things/people who are “shaky” can be “shaken”. He explained to me that there are people who are not stable, they are shaky. Shaky people are easily moved, quickly offended, immature and insecure. Shaky people can be shaken, stable people cannot be shaken.

No matter what they hear, what they see, stable people are not shaken because they are not shaky. Shaky people are internally unstable, so when they hear something or see something, they are easily shaken. Unshakable people cannot be shaken, but shaky people are shaken by many things, so when they are removed we should not be surprised, because all we are seeing is that they are shaky, which is why they are shaken.

Anyway, just another way to think about a scripture we quote so often but maybe never considered in this way. I know I hadn’t but when the Lord spoke it to me this way, it made so much sense to me. If we want to be unshakable, we must be able to be disciplined, obedient to the voice of God and desire to grow up, at least that is what Hebrews 12 tells us. And Hebrews 11 is a chapter about a whole group of unshakable people, so I think there might be something to this idea of shaky people are the ones who can be shaken. Don’t Take The Bait At The Gate

The structure we call church is being swallowed up by the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. This change is something we have never encountered before in our lifetime, this is why so many are struggling to understand how they are feeling and where they fit.

Our position in the kingdom of God is harvester, light bearer and love distributor. Our title in the kingdom is son and daughter. Our assignment is everyone, everywhere, everyday. We are doing what we are seeing our Father in heaven doing and He is doing a lot.

The system we have called church is a Sunday morning structure that is not sustainable and has not operated by design according to what the kingdom of God is doing, therefore, it is being swallowed up by the kingdom. This transformation is so beyond what we have ever known, some will leave the system, others will fight the system, still others will just sit in the system and never fulfill what they were created for.

The kingdom of God is at hand, many know it, not by feeling but by a sense deep in their spirit. They know they were made for more. They know the dreams, desires and promises God has given them and they are crying out in ways they cannot even hear, but God has heard.

We are in a crossing over time, we are literally standing on the threshold, we have never gone this way before and the snake is at the gate. The snake is biting those trying to cross over, poisoning them with offense, causing division, slandering and gossiping. These “Christian’s” do not know what spirit they are of.

The Lord is saying, “Don’t take the bait at the gate!’ The bait of the snake is at the gate and we cannot take the bait. The bait will hook you and hinder you, for the bait wants access to the kingdom and it is seeking to come in through you. The deception is, if you take the bait you will not go through the gate.

Jesus said in Luke 10:19, “You have been given authority over serpents and scorpions!” Use your authority over this spirits. Paul demonstrated in Acts 28, how to shake off the snake at the gate and to remember it cannot harm you (Mark 16), if you don’t take the bait. Friends, forgive them for they know not what they do, nor what spirit they are of. Don’t take the bait at the gate, for there are snakes at the gate.

Step over, go through, enter in. Don’t let the snake at the gate get you to take the bait, for you were born for such a time as this and the enemy at the gate doesn’t want you to enter in. But you must not take the bait that is right here at the gate or you will not be able to enter in. I pray you see the bait waiting at the gate, so you can resist it. Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org

Check, Check, Check

My husband sends out a weekly word of encouragement and as I was listening this morning, he asked us, “What sound are you listening to?” As he was sharing, the Lord spoke to me and said, “I am doing a sound check.”

When we planted churches in Malaysia, one of my jobs was to run the sound board, and when I was in Bible school I traveled with a ministry team and I was in charge of the sound board. I worked on an analog sound board, and now everything is digital, but when the team is doing a sound check, we are listening for any discrepancies in the sound that is being emitted.

The point of a sound check is to make sure the sound we are wanting to release, is of the highest quality, is mixed well so all instruments blend together in harmony. We are listening for any adjustments in the vocals that may need more or less reverb/gain. A sound check is necessary before the actual releasing of the sound.

The Lord said, “I am doing a sound check.” The Lord is listening to what we say and what we are hearing. He is doing a sound check. We may not speak what we are hearing but we think about what we are hearing and He is listening to our thoughts as well as our words. The Lord is doing a sound check right now.

What sound are you hearing? What sound are you thinking? What sound are you speaking? We are in the middle of a sound check. Psalm 89:15-16 says, “How blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! O LORD, they walk in the light of Your countenance. In Your name they rejoice all the day, And by Your righteousness they are exalted.” Can you hear the joyful sound?

God is doing a sound check to make sure we hear the sound He is producing. It is not the sound of man’s opinions; people’s emotions; the news’ commentary; or the conspiracy theorists ideas. It is not the sound of the rapture, or the enemy at the gate, it is a joyful sound. Can you hear it? If not, don’t worry, God is doing a sound check right now to adjust you to His sound, not people’s voice. Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org

Spirit Trumps Flesh

When our familiarity is with the flesh, the arm of flesh, the words of flesh, we not only rely on flesh, but we seek out flesh for the validation of what flesh is saying or doing. This is the reason “birds of a feather flock together.” We must gather to ourselves those who are saying what we are thinking, hearing or even saying, for we are more familiar with flesh than spirit.

Spirit is breath, it is invisible, it is untouchable, but it is absolute substance. Spirit carries absolute authority, creative ability and power to change outcomes spoken by and agreed upon by those who are in agreement in the flesh. Spirit trumps flesh, if only we will speak words of authority that silence the words of flesh.

Flesh is divisive, unforgiving, offended, culturally Christian and needs others who are fleshly to agree with them, so they feel like they have authority. Flesh loves to deny truth; loves to think they are right so won’t talk to others who know things they don’t know. Flesh cannot handle truth for it operates in insecurity and hides behind hypocrisy.

We are spirit beings, we are called to be spirit led, which means we do what we hear the spirit say, even when our flesh resists the idea God is presenting to us. For God is spirit! This is why Zechariah 4:6 says, “Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of hosts.”

This is elementary Christianity, foundational truth that will set us free if we became more familiar with the spirit than we are comfortable with the flesh. Church people who have been saved for years, but don’t walk by the spirit are needing a revival, not just those who we label as unbelievers. The church must become spirit led, because there is an authentic generation knocking on the door wanting the God who is spirit, not people who are flesh.

When Dust Meets Breath

The breath in our lungs is not so we can have an opinion; it is not for self-promotion; it not so we can criticize other people; it is not so I can cut down someone else. The breath in our lungs has been placed there so we can praise the Lord. Psalm 150 says, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.”

We were given breath to be a blessing; to speak the word of God; to release blessings; to build up people, cities, nations; to sing songs of praise to the God who gave us breath. Have you ever really thought about the truth of why you were given breath? What are you doing with the gift of breath you have been given?

We have been given breath to become a living soul. Breath is what gives us life. Our words are breath; our very being is dust and breath. Genesis 2:7 “Then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.”

Dust in Hebrew is ashes, earth, mortar, powder, rubbish, debris. Breath in Hebrew is spirit, wind, inspiration, source of life. When breath is put into dust we come alive. No wonder He makes beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3).

It is easy to see the dust in people, but can you see the breath in them? Can you be like Ezekiel 37:9 and hear the Lord say, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, Thus says the Lord GOD: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.”

Use your breath to speak to their dust and tell it to come alive. We must stop being dust speakers and dust seekers, for when dust meets breath, we come alive. If all you can talk about is the dust that people are, you need someone to prophesy for breath to come into you. Friends, when dust meets breath, they come alive. Prophesy to the breath! God’s M-O

When many of us hear the letters M-O, we think mode of operation or modus operandi. This morning the Lord added value to the letters M-O by saying, it is a mode of operation, and our mode of operation that He desires from us is mutual obedience.

I wonder how many Christians consider the truth that we are to be in a mutually obedient relationship with Christ. The idea of Jesus obeying us seems like a foreign language, even to my ears, but when the Lord explained it to me this morning, it made total sense.

We see obedience in light of a military idea. There is a commander and we are soldiers that only do what we are told and if we don’t there is some form of punishment involved. I was watching a show last night about these social media influencers that get put through some military training drills, so they see what other people do for a living.

What I loved about the show is how the social media influencers were so grateful for the hard work the military people do to keep us safe and how they now have more content for their channels but it is not surface but substantive content.

Back to M-O. Mutual obedience is not only us obeying what God says, asks us to do, but God obeying what we ask Him to do. I know this sounds weird, but think about this, prayer is us asking God to do what we ask of Him. We want the Lord to respond to our requests, asks, and He wants us to do the same for Him.

When we learn the dance of M-O, mutual obedience, it will help us understand more clearly what Jesus said in John 15, “If you love me you will do what I say.” It is an invitation to M-O, mutual obedience, for He wants to do what you say and He wants you to do what He says, for you and God are on the same team, you are not rivals. He Alone Is God

The older I get the more I reflect on the past, not to relive it, but to learn from it. I reflect on things I have seen, heard, done and had done to me. It is not a dwelling in the past, it is a reflecting on the past for the gaining of wisdom from my mistakes and the mistakes of others.

Being a lifelong learner means being able to look at life in all its complexities and diversities and realizing everyone stumbles, some fall, others deny and still some learn and grow from it all. So many things to see, hear and reflect on, it is not a burden but a blessing, for the days ahead will not be like anything we have gone through in the past.

Outpourings, revivals, healings, tents, buildings, stadiums, pulpits, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists and apostles. We have seen churches in homes, offices, buildings, on street corners, in small groups, large groups, cathedrals and sports arenas. So much to reflect on, rejoice over and learn from. All because we are standing in the threshold between what has been and what is upon us.

Shofars sounding in Israel, announcing a new day; shakings around the world, announcing follow the way; tectonic plates moving spiritually and physically, as the earth groans for us to arise as sons and daughters; and numbers 5786 declaring strike the ground, stake your claim, drive the tent peg, and connect heaven to earth.

So much to see, to hear, to say, but through it all the Lord cuts with His voice like a sharp sword and says, “I Am God and there is none like Me.” When Isaiah saw the Lord, he fell to the ground; when Jacob saw the Lord in Genesis 35, “Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him, Put away the foreign gods that are among you and purify yourselves and change your garments.” In all of this we must return to the Lord! Remain as one with the Lord! And not lose sight of the Lord! Just a reminder, in the midst of it all, He is the Lord! Www.apostolicresourcecenter.org
