It has been well documented that the United States of America was made into a corporation with the unconstitutional passing of the Act of 1871. The passing of this Act brought major changes on the people of the United States, but most had no idea what they lost. Now today in 2021, we are being educated about this “corporation” of which we have lived in for all of our lives, even though we were told we live in a Constitutional Republic, while in actuality we work as employees of a corporation. I know it is sounds preposterous, but just look up the Act of 1871 for yourself and you will see what I saw.
Living in a world of information, there are pros and cons, pros being we have information at our fingertips, that we can “Google” and find in an instant, like the Act of 1871. The challenge of living in an information age is that we know so little and yet think we know so much. It is no wonder the Bible is clear that humility means to be teachable. God is unsearchable wisdom, and the thoughts of man are so far beneath the Lord, for He is the Ancient of Days and we are but a vapor. He is Eternal and we are temporal, He has seen it all and we are seeing it for the first time. Remaining teachable is the key to hearing the voice of God in every season of life.As the nations, we are in a significant change, one of truly biblical proportions and for those who think they know it all, or know enough, they are actually revealing they know nothing about what is going on right now. How do I know? Because we have never been this way before, we really have no idea where we are going and when people have that out of control feeling, they default to some common themes. One they blame someone else for not doing enough or two they go back to the old ways, because in their mind the new ways didn’t come soon enough or will not happen at all. These realities are prevalent right now in ways that are undeniable.
Hebrews 12:25-27 says, “See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape who turn away from Him who warns from heaven. And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven, this expression, yet once more, denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.”
We are in a shaking right now. Nations are being shaken, governments are being shaken, education is being shaken, media is being shaken, business is being shaken, and church is being shaken. The tremors have been happening for four years, but they get more and more pronounced every year. 2020 shook the churches out of the building, shook employees out of their offices, shook students out of their classrooms, shook fans out of stadiums, everything began to shake last year. It was not an accident, nor was it just a coincident, it was a planned shaking, not by man, but by God, for 2020 was the Hebrew year 5780 and it began a new era for the kingdom of God on earth. With every new beginning in the kingdom there is a shaking that takes place for old structures must come down. The prophet Jeremiah’s call says it best, “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. See, I have appointed you this day over the nations and over the kingdoms, to pluck up and break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant.” (Jeremiah 1)
We are currently in between the destroy/overthrow stage and the build/plant stage. The enemy does not want to lose his foothold in the nations, but his demise is inevitable and everything is being shaken that has the enemy’s fingerprints on it. Only God can shake nations, especially multiple nations all at one time. Only God can deal with the ancient serpent the devil in these nations, for He alone is the Ancient of Days. This is not the work of a man, this is the work of God, but biblical precedence tells us God always uses men and women to accomplish His plans on earth.
When everything is shaking, people panic. The more people “feel” like they are out of control, the harder it is for them to remain in peace. When financial situations change dramatically, it makes people “feel” out of control. When health situations change, it makes people “feel” like they are out of control. When governmental situations change, it makes people “feel” like they are out of control. But the truth is, we never were in control of any of it, control is an allusion of security we hold on to, not a reality. Henceforth, why the shaking brings out things in us we did not know were there. Shakings make us “feel” vulnerable and we will do whatever we can to cover ourselves up (Genesis 2), for we don’t understand the freedom of being naked yet free. The shaking is for our making, so instead of casting stones at others for not doing enough repenting or for turning to some substance to give you an escape from the reality in which we all are in, why not open your Bible and realize there is nothing new under the sun (Ecclesiastes 3). Jonah was on a boat in a storm and ended up in the belly of a fish; Peter denied Christ three times and wept bitterly for days; Paul was shipwrecked on the Island of Malta; and who can forget the Israelites that were in Egypt as slaves for 430 years. Shakings are not new to God, even though they are new to us. Take a deep breath, grab you Bible, get some coffee, tea, or other warm drink and remember what Psalm 46:1-3 says, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth gives way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.”
It way past time for us who know our God to start embracing the shaking for, He is making all things new!
