Humanism has made us soft as a culture. People are looking for those who will comfort them in their chaos rather than counsel them. They like to hear that God will bless them in their sin. They want people around them who will just love them in their dysfunction. But that’s humanism not Bible. The Bible wants them healed, helped, and given a hand up. The Bible wants them strong, stable and secure, so when they are struggling the Bible says…
Isaiah 35:4 “Encourage the exhausted, and strengthen the feeble. Say to those with anxious heart, Take courage, fear not. Behold, your God will come with vengeance; The recompense of God will come, But He will save you.”
It’s Time we speak the truth in love to one another who are believers because humanism is not Biblical and if we are going to be strong, and be available to minister in the next great awakening, we must cast off our grave clothes, pick up our mat, jump in that river to be cleansed, drop everything and follow Jesus. Where we’re going humanism cannot come.
Hebrews 12:1-2 “Let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith.”
