The Medicine From Heaven

Reports have said that anxiety is at an all time high and Bible reading among believers is at an all time low. Do you think there is any correlation? I do. Here is why, because anxiety is the inability to see the future or control it, so people get anxious. Anxiety is evidence of trust in self, not in God, which brings me to why I believe it is connected to the lack of Bible reading. Paul said, Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. When you are not reading, listening to or talking about the word of God you are not building your faith in God. Faith is a weapon, an answer to anxiety.

Proverbs 20:24 says, “It is the Lord who directs your life, for each step you take is ordained by God to bring you closer to your destiny. So much of your life then remains a mystery.”

Mystery is the inability to control or know what is going to happen next, this is why we are called to walk by faith and not by sight. The challenge is you can’t walk this way with someone, not even God, unless you invest time in the relationship so you can know for certain that God is trustworthy. Henceforth, the need to read our Bible.

The word of God is medicine, it cures anxiety; reveals perfect love that casts out all fear; makes you inside strong so when the winds of change blow and we feel out of control, Jesus comes walking toward us on the water saying, it is me, fear not, for no weapon formed against you will prosper and no tongue that rises against you in judgment will prevail. My friends, life is a mystery, but God has a history of being faithful, trustworthy and fun to hang out with. Read your Bible, invest in God, it will yield returns money can’t buy.

Foundation Repair

I was praying with Psalm 79 this morning and verse 9 opened up some thoughts I want to share with you. “Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of Your name. And deliver us and forgive our sins for Your name’s sake.” Praying this verse the Lord revealed to me, the nation of Israel understood they represented God on the earth. They knew God created them as a nation, God blessed them, God protected them and God’s name was on them. With this knowledge or understanding, when they sinned knew it reflected on the name of the Lord; when being besieged or attacked knew it was God’s name under assault. The oneness between Israel and God was cultural to them, it was who they were. Therefore, when they asked for help it was not for the sake of their name, but for the sake of God’s name, God’s reputation among the nations.

America does not have the current cultural understanding of Israel that we too reflect and are deeply connected to the name of the Lord. Americans look out for themselves, are concerned about their name, their reputation, they are not thinking how what is happening to our nation is a reflection on the name of the Lord our God. Even though, we declare, we are one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all. The foundation of our nation as one with God and His name has been eroded over time, but God has not forgotten and He reminded me today. It is not our reputation individually that matters, but God’s reputation corporately among the nations that the enemy is after in our nation.

The Lord is restoring the foundation of our nation, He has been preparing people to arise like Nehemiah’s, Ezra’s and Hezekiah’s to rebuild the foundation of our nation, not for America’s name sake, but for the sake of God’s name, for we are a God-loving, God-fearing, Jesus Christ believing nation and this will be seen again once the foundation is repaired. Not to us, not to us, but to Your name O God be the glory.

The microphone, which is only a tool of amplification, not identification will be passed to the builders who carry a spirit of wisdom and revelation in order to active the builders in our nation. The doors of the church were shut as a prophetic statement, now they are being reopened, as a prophetic statement. God is about to rebuild His foundation in this nation and He has already prepared the builders to do it. Get ready to build, for God is not done with this nation, He is actually ready to begin again with it, for the sake of His name and His glory!

The Gift of Remembering

Being born into oppression on a level we do not understand, yields an inability to see and hear what true freedom sounds like, looks like. Israel spent 450 years under Egyptian oppression, generations were born into oppression, it was all they knew. Most don’t realize it, but we too have been born in captivity, yes to sin, but also to ruling forces that we do not have the names for. Just like Israel we have been in this captivity longer than any of us truly know, so the sound of real freedom is foreign to us, not because we don’t desire it, but because we don’t recognize it.

This is why God give us the gift of memory. When we remember how many times God has come into our captivity as the nations with healing, revival, dreams, even in the Word of God, when we remember, it gives us hope that God is working on our behalf as humanity. When we remember Jesus’s death, burial and resurrection, we have an anchor to attach to that just like with Israel our oppressors will be dealt with, our captivity will end.

Psalm 77 says, “I shall remember the deeds of the LORD; Surely I will remember Your wonders of old. I will meditate on all Your work And muse on Your deeds. Your way, O God, is holy; What god is great like our God? You are the God who works wonders; You have made known Your strength among the peoples. You have by Your power redeemed Your people,

The sons of Jacob and Joseph.”

Exercise the gift of remembering it will restore your hope, revive your joy and rekindle your desire for freedom. God is still in the business of dealing with oppressors and setting all the captives free. For it is for freedom that you have been set free!

Eyes On!

The Lord knows us so well, He knows our ways, our patterns, our habits, our routines, He knows everything about us. To some this sounds scary, controlling, weird, but to others it is liberating. When you know the character of God you do not fear the eyes of God watching your every move. People are concerned about 5G surveillance and don’t like thought that they are being watched, but we have been watched by a careful eye from before we were even formed in our mothers womb. Remember what Psalm 139 said, “O LORD, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down, And are intimately acquainted with all my ways.” The differnce between God and “big tech” is that God is watching over us as a Father for protection, communication and direction. Being watched, known is a good thing when it comes to the Lord.

Knowing we are intimately known, it is important to remember “self” wants to decide what you do, where you do it, when you do it and how you do it. “Self” loves to be in charge, but as believers when we “give our lives to the Lord” we gave ourselves away. Paul said it this way, “Your is not your own, you were bought with a price” (1 Cor. 6:19). When we try to decide what we will do, when we will do it and where we will do it, we create for ourselves unncessary anxiety, for we were never meant to control anything, not even our own destiny. God is sovereign, He is in control, He knows you, He made you for such a time as this and He knows what He is doing with you, but you must surrender again to Him.

Surrender brings peace and peace is a weapon against the enemy that seeks to stir up self to speak about things self is not authorized to comment on. Surender a fresh today your self, and watch peace come in like a river. And remember what the Psalmist said, “ I said to the boastful, ‘Do not boast,’ And to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up the horn; Do not lift up your horn on high, Do not speak with insolent pride.’ For not from the east, nor from the west, Nor from the desert comes exaltation; But God is the Judge; He puts down one and exalts another.” God’s got this fear not my friends rather surrender.

The revelation of Jesus Christ is going to tear the veil of religion that has kept believers locked into this single layer gospel we have been taught. The kingdom of God is a kingdom that knows no end. The knowledge of the glory of God is going to cover the earth as the waters cover the seas. The unknown is far greater than what is known and yet religion says, we know enough. Religion keeps recycling the same message over and over again and then religious people keep echoing it throughout the generations. The gospel is eternal, the Lord of the gospel has no beginning and no end. The word of God is multilayered and has depth, width, breadth, color, of the likes we do not have words to describe.

The revelation of Jesus Christ is going to open up a world in the word that believers in this generation have never known before. It is going to produce a freedom that cannot be denied and a liberty that many will want to experience. It will not come easy, for we have been so indoctrinated with the doctrines of men and demons, that we will struggle to step out of the grave even when the stone is rolled away. But for those who do, they will dance, sing, shout, praise and revel in the freedom they have in Christ. When Paul preached the measure of freedom God showed Him in the revelation of Jesus Christ the Jews persecuted Him for preached freedom to Jews. Judaism was and is a very religious system, just like Christianity but this is why God is sending freedom preachers with a revelation of Jesus Christ, for it is for freedom that you have been set free.

Solomon said it this way, “The source of revelation knowledge is found as you fall down in surrender before the Lord. Don’t expect to see Shekinah glory until the Lord sees your sincere humility.” The revelation of Jesus Christ will be followed by Shekinah glory for those who can and will humble themselves and receive the truth that is coming to set them free from the religion they have been dipped in. Freedom is coming for all but not all want to be free, because freedom takes humility.

The Plant

I took my truck to the car wash the other day and as I went to vacuum underneath the seat, I found an empty beer can. I do not drink, so I was puzzled by the find. My son and his best friend used the truck last, and so the thought crossed my mind is this from them, I mean they are teenagers. As I pondered where this beer can came from, I thought about the character of my son and his best friend and I knew they would not have drank a can of beer. Then 24 hours later, the Holy Spirit said, remember they took the truck to drop off the recycling, it fell out of the recycling can. I smiled and said, of course it did.

I learned a lot from this experience. One the enemy will plant certain “signs” in order to get us to question the innocent; two taking time to remember the character of the ones the enemy is seeking to accuse in your heart is critical; third, the Holy Spirit knows the truth about everything, so be patient He will bring to rememberance all we need to know.

The enemy plants thoughts, “signs”, in our lives to get us to question God and each other. But when we remember the track record of those the enemy is seeding doubts about, we can counter the enemies narrative. Psalm 74:12-17 reveals God’s track record and the psalmist had to remember it during a challenging time. “Yet God is my king from of old, Who works deeds of deliverance in the midst of the earth. You divided the sea by Your strength; You broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters. You crushed the heads of Leviathan; You broke open springs and torrents; You have established all the boundaries of the earth;” God has a great track record, so we can trust Him no matter what the enemy tries to plant in our lives to tell us something different. And that beer can was from a recycling trip not a “sign” of something else.

Access to Abundance

Do you find yourself or do you hear of others fighting over crumbs? The spirit of poverty will cause you to fight for something small, because you do not recognize your access to abundance. The Bible says we are not to go to court before unbelievers, and yet what do people go to court for? Watch Judge Judy for one week and you realize every case in the court room is over money. Money are scraps, crumbs, they are of little significance and yet people fight over it all the time. Not wanting to be wronged or robbed they fight over money. I wish this was an issue in the world, but it is prevelant in the church.

Can I tell you a secret? You don’t need to argue with anyone over money, if you have access to abundance. In 2 Chronicles 25 there is a story about a king of Judah named Amaziah and he took a census and discovered he had 300,000 choice men able to go to war and handle spear and shield (v.5). The king of Judah did not think that was enough warriors for the war he was about to engage in so he hired 100,000 soldiers from Israel for 100 talents (v.6). Stacked with a military ready for the war, a prophet shows up and says to the king, “O king, do not let the army of Israel go with you, for the Lord is not with Israel nor with any of the sons of Ephraim” (v.7). The king says, no problem with the soldiers, but what about the 100 talents I paid for these soldiers? The prophet replied, “The Lord has much more to give you than this” (v.9). The prophet said, just let them keep the money, the Lord has an abundance you will lack nothing.

My friends, we as the body of Christ must learn who are God is, He is a God of abundance. People worship money because they have a spirit of poverty. People hoard supplies and stock pile money for they are afraid of lack, which is a spirit of poverty. People fight over money because of the spirit of poverty. And all this in the body of Christ. Yet, we have access to abundance so never need to fear running out. No matter what happens to the economy, remember we have access to abundance. Don’t go to war with people over money, just give it to them, for you and I have access to abundance.

Peace Is A Weapon

The word the Lord gave me for 2022 is the Mountain of the Lord. This word came out of a revelation the Lord gave me and I shared it publicly, now today the Lord showed me another component of the mountain of the Lord I did not know when I wrote that word. Here is what the Lord added today.

Psalm 72 says, “Let the mountains bring peace to the people, And the hills, in righteousness. May he vindicate the afflicted of the people, Save the children of the needy And crush the oppressor.” Mountains in scripture represent government. As I was praying this Psalm this morning, the Lord revealed to me that the government of God is actively doing three things right now: 1. Vindicating the afflicted; 2. Saving the children; 3. Oppressing the enemy. The government of God which is the Mountain of the Lord is highly operational right now in these three areas. What is hidden from our sight is making huge inroads for the salvation of people in many nations.

Another insight the Lord showed me about the Mountain of the Lord, the Government of God is that peace is a weapon of choice with God’s government. Romans 16:20 says, “The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.” Psalm 72 tells us the Mountain of the Lord brings peace and Romans tells us peace crushes Satan under our feet. Peace is a weapon being wielded right now, that is why many do not see all the victories being won as the Mountain of the Lord is ruling the nations according to Isaiah 2.

The kingdom of God is a kingdom of righteousness, peace and joy, our job is to align with righteousness, so we can live in peace and manifest joy. My friends, the Lord is using peace to crush the oppressors and when they are defeated, the atmosphere will change signifcantly and all will feel it. We a living in the day of the Mountain of the Lord.

The Builders Are Coming

The Lord is restoring the biblical apostolic and prophetic to the house of the Lord to rebuild His house. A cursory look at the house of God and it is obviously in disarray in many ways. We experienced a wave of the apostolic and prophetic, but it, for the most part, went to self-serving interests, rather than biblical assignment. When Paul says, first apostles, he is using an analogy of building a house, you first lay the foundation, so if you are apostolic you are the foundation, the first thing laid down. Second prophets, because prophets are the infrastructure of the house. They set things in order, they frame the house, they bring alignment and correction. Then Paul says, third teachers. Teachers bring content like insulation to make the house retain what it gains. Therefore, when I say the Lord is bring the biblical apostolic and prophetic to the house of the Lord, this is what I mean.

This is why the Lord has been speaking to me about the prophetic, because we have experienced the candy coated prophetic, but we have not experienced to a great measure, the building prophetic. Biblical prophets are builders of God’s house and God’s people. 2 Chronicles 24 speaks about the rebuilding of the house of God and says this about the prophets, “He sent prophets to them to bring them back to the Lord; though they testified against them, they would not listen. Then the spirit of God came upon Zechariah; and he stood above the people and said to them, Thus God has said, why do you transgress the commandments of the Lord and do not prosper? Because you have forsaken the Lord.” Biblical prophets are going to call Christians to repentance, back to God. Watch for the Lord is sending us biblical prophets for the Lord has entered the rebuilding stage of His house.

The Fear of Who?

If you want to be a mouthpiece for God; if you want to be a trusted voice that speaks for God; if you want to have people and kings call for you when they are wanting to know the will of God, you cannot have the fear of man but you must have the fear of God. The Bible says, the fear of man proves to be a snare (Proverbs 29:25), but those who trust in the Lord are safe. The fear of man is rampant in the prophetic of our day so prophets are saying what people want to here. But think about it for just a minute, is hearing what you want to hear doing anything to change your life?

In 2 Chronicles 18 there is a story about two kings, one is Jehosophat the king of Judah and the other is Ahab the king of Israel. These kings aligned and were wanting to go and take the city of Ramoth-gilead (Hebron). Before they set out to do it, King Jehosophat said to King Ahab before we go to battle lets inquire of the Lord, “Then the king of Israel assembled the prophets, four hundred men, and said to them, “Shall we go against Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall I refrain?” And they said, “Go up, for God will give it into the hand of the king.” (2 Chronicles 18:5). Note they are called prophets, then called 400 men. Now listen to what King Jehosophat replies with, “But Jehoshaphat said, “Is there not yet a prophet of the LORD here that we may inquire of him?” The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “There is yet one man by whom we may inquire of the LORD, but I hate him, for he never prophesies good concerning me but always evil. He is Micaiah, son of Imla.” But Jehoshaphat said, “Let not the king say so.” (2 Chronicles 18:6-7). Note the demarcation in language from prophet to prophet of the Lord. 400 men were “prophets” while one man was a prophet of the Lord. It’s not about quantity of agreement, but the word of the Lord.

When you have the fear of the Lord, you cannot have the fear of man. We only have room for one fear and when you fear the Lord you hear the Lord. My friends, listen to those who have the fear of the Lord, not the fear of man, even if they do not say what you want to hear. God doesn’t speak to tell you what you want to hear but the truth that will set you free. The question we must ask ourselves is do I want to be free? Only truth from the mouth of God can set you free so you too can fear the Lord with me.
