The Sanctuary of God

One of the greatest challenges of humanity is when we see injustice. When one person gets treated a certain way based on status, title, or bank account it causes frustration in those that don’t carry the same privileges. It may not be a spoken injustice or frustration with the injustice seen or heard, but it is legit inside of people and it stirs in them as more and more injustices are seen or heard. It’s at crockpot level but the frustrations are still cooking inside of people. This is not new to humanity and one of the Psalmist actually penned a similar challenge that he was facing.

Psalm 73 “This is what the wicked are like—
always free of care, they go on amassing wealth.
Surely in vain I have kept my heart pure
and have washed my hands in innocence.
All day long I have been afflicted,
and every morning brings new punishments.
If I had spoken out like that,
I would have betrayed your children.
When I tried to understand all this,
it troubled me deeply
till I entered the sanctuary of God;
then I understood their final destiny.”

As believers enter the sanctuary of God today May we remember that Yahweh is the judge of everyone. Nothing escapes His notice. Those that think they’re getting away with something are not getting away with it. Just because justice delays does not mean it’s denied but this can only be seen when you enter the sanctuary of God. Our job is not to wish condemnation upon anyone but to remember that if we too had not met Jesus the Christ who paid the penalty for all of our sins we would have a final destination just like the wicked do.

As you enter the sanctuary of God today, May you remember how much you’ve been forgiven so when those that were once wicked turn and become righteous we do not treat them as though they don’t belong in the house of God. He who has been forgiven much loves much! Our job is to love God and love people, but that only happens inside of us when we enter the sanctuary of God.
